I would have MoP over Cata and every expansion since WoD. Every class was just so much fun, the PvP was so fun, and so many people participated in PvP during MoP. Isle of Thunder and Timeless isle were great additions too.
I would absolutely love MoP Classic, I had the most fun in MoP, but I also pray that they stop at that expansion... WoD Classic would kill the vibe fr fr.

Kinda agree like Mop was actually a good expac but it kinda defeats the purpose of "classic". Honestly it would be cool if they did a TBC SoD and built onto that

MoP is *really* pushing it, but it's one of the best expansions so I'd play it. If they do MoP though, they absolutely need to end it there and move on to Classic+, or a new cycle, or whatever it is they plan to do after classic
Cata should have never happened. We all just want classic sod reset and or classic plus with timbermawhold and or scarlet empire
I was super stoked for cata classic. Played for a month then stopped. So yeah you are spot on.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a WoD Revisited situation, where they did bother to finish that content. Unfortunately, it won't happen because people are already so put off by the expansion and won't go anywhere near it.
I would love for people that disparage MoP to actually name something bad about it.
The introduction of massive daily grinds that are required not just cosmetic/mounts, the introduction of competitive elitism via challenge modes, the widening gap of player achievement due to the introduction of LFR, so that there was now 3 difficulty levels, up from 2 the previous expansion, and 1 before that, the break away from the core lore of Warcraft to offshoot/new lore - just to name a few.
I liked pandaland, but there was a tremendous amount of flaws, ESPECIALLY if you weren't a high end player. For fun, casual, or lore players were left in the dust in MOP.
MoP is litterally the best part of WoW if ur into PVE and like class balance.
It blows wotlk and cata out of the water in every single possible way.
The only downside is rep farm in Phase 1 which blizzard could fix easily by implementing retails Warband feature into classic. (which is quite likely to happend sooner or later anyway since its so insanely good)

They wouldn’t add warband features. However an easier fix would be rep tabards like in cata. That would be the way to go
Sod has already introduced bind on account items and most recently made items locked by rep you can buy and send to an alt to get those rep locked rewards on the alt. So kinda the same thing but more steps

Dude, wod could have been the best expansion ever. Too many shortcuts and plot holes. Also ashran bases sucked. If they fixed these little things it could be so badass.

At the point the “classic” player base seems to just expect that blizzard keep re-releasing the expansions. So yeah there’s definitely going to be a MoP, WoD, Legion classic. It’s basically free retention of them
I actually do want MOP classic. Such a good expansion. So much to do, raids were solid and pvp was solid and so was world pvp, all day, everyday
i was a fan of the raids and world bosses during mop. especially when horde and alliance were fighting for world bosses! probably last time world pvp was real. the guild Blood Legion was paid to come to my server and help the #1 horde guild kill us so they could get the world boss kills first.

MoP is my fav xpac and I would not want to play it. Its not classic anymore. I think up to wrath and then stopping and maybe making parallel content in classic from that point on was the way.
Would be weird having MoP Classic after we had MoP Remix for quite some time in Retail already. I think many Classic players played it too..
Blizz should proceed with MoP classic, and also a couple fresh Vanilla servers for folks wanting to start completely.
I think Blizzard should just release them all no matter what the community says. It gives the newer players a similar experience from what it was back in the day.
Thats what ive been saying, no problem at all re running the xpacs if u dont like it just dont play it, theres a good amount of people playing the classic expansions, keep running it.

You're describing a nostalgia trip that someone pops onto once and never again. That isn't sustainable.
@@ElusiveTy I dont think blizzard cares about the split, if that was the case they wouldn't be releasing hardcore, sod, new hardcore servers and this incoming classic+ (which are all the same instance of the vanilla game). Those reruns brings new players to the game, cancelling it means cancelling probably more than 300k subscriptions, it just doesnt make sense doing it now if we still have Pandaria and Legion ahead which is considered the best expansions for the most. About servers being setted to failure: First, theres no servers for a especific expansion, its just one rerun server, theres nothing for TBC or WOTLK, it could be a failure if they existed but what explains private servers like Warmane being so popular? They've been setted for a single expansion forever and guilds run raids everyday. I think youre not playing Cata Classic right now, i am and i see people saying everyday that they want to play the next expansions, theres a pretty good amount of old and new players actively playing there. Blizzard sent this question to people and retail and vanilla players are answering it, they shouldn't be, they are not the ones playing it.
I might be the minority but I would love for them to end clasic with MoP I think Mop had the best pvp period everything was overpowered and fun yes it created a few questionable metas but bliz has shown before they don't mind making small balance adjustments to clasic game modes and I think with a little tweaking to some specs MoP could revitalize the pvp scene
Why I play cata, why I hope for MoP and why I dont play retail: TWW Class balance is miles off, m+ runs impossible to get in with randos playing outside meta. Guild recruiting system is bad it is really hard to find guild with the blizzards system with similiar goals as you and there aint no chat for it anymore as servers are broken. World quests are glorified dailies, gameplay on most of the classes I tried feels clunky. LFR was the most toxic shit I ever seen. Even heroic raid pugs were something never seen before. One guy needed on a downgrade item I asked why did he need it. ”Because there is a need button.” The community side of the game is gone. There are thousands of currencies that could be amped up to max 3. Seems that for most of the players the game is too hard. When I joined my first +2 after 2 hours of trying to find a group we had healer who was constantly dying to mechanics and 2 dds that did like 30% of my damage. We ended up failing people were namecalling and the group disbanded. Also might just be me but the lvl scaling totally ruins the character fantasy, durotar wolves hitting as hard as hallowfall mobs is just riddicilous. Only thing I enjoyed so far was delves. So as conclusion back to cataclysm it is, I would hope they would bring ragna pre nerf as they clearly cant say anymore that if you want challenge go to retail. That game isnt world of warcraft for me anymore.
I've been waiting for MoP classic since they released the vanilla classic. MoP is the expansion that got me really hooked on wow as a kid, had the best times of my life. Truly a nostalgic era for me, and to be able to replay that on live official wow servers? I'd be so happy
Everything about wow was perfect at that time, the state of the last patch of MoP was the best iteration of wow we've ever had in my opinion. Timeless isle was so fucking fun. The tough legendary cloak questline felt so rewarding at the end

Then reset it after 2 years or so
Then the next 3, but super charge it so each xpac is 3 to 4 months tops, change the raid lock outs to 3 days instead of a week, and reset them every 12-18 months etc
My opinion on this, even tho I never played anything else than dragonflight (retail), wotlk and now I am in cata (classic). Now Blizzard has great oppurtunity to learn from their mistakes and make whatever people did not like and maybe even adjust and such everything to their advantage. Gain the trust of people again and it would be huge W imho.
I quit wow at cataclysm(obviously im playing classic cata rn) and at some points be able to to relieve the adventure in the good order with some time to enjoy each content, i guess u can get some new player and old player to do it again. I try to play retail after almost 10 years without touching wow and im probably a noob too but i can’t play it, they’re is too much content to get back
I loved Classic WoW as I started in TBC so it was fun to experience it. TBC Classic was fun. Even though Wrath was my favorite all time xpac, I just couldn't force myself to grind the reps once I hit 80 and started getting the "I've already done this." vibe.
I dont see the point when they did mop remix, yeh it was retail and doesn't have classic systems but i mean i think its better they focus on an actual classic + rather than keeep going through expacs otherwise we getting wod classic, bfa classic etc? its kinda dumb to keep going

They need to make a brand new story for classic. Instead of releasing MoP release a new expansion never seen before but keep that classic feel to it.
Classic should have stopped at wrath.and the easiest way to do it would be to do seasons like diablo. Every season you get new buffs and metas but you start over.
Why are they only just asking this question now?! They should already be working on it. And we wonder why its always such a buggy mess in beta.
Honestly, I'd rather take a Classic refresh (starting classic over) than MoP classic.

MoP is where it should end, everything wod onward is retail. Wod is when all the classes got new spell animations and the character models were updated

Remix was really good for a player coming back after a break.. when I came back to WoW, was right before MoP Remix, when
I read about it, I liked the fact the characters would be transferred to the retail server.. that was the major difference for me VS classic..
Vanilla reboot (classic 1-60). Was good, but I left because of guild issues.. people I guilded with back before TBC came out..
And they did the same crap as the first time.
I busted my ass to level and gear.. after the 2nd raid they had me sitting or constantly swapping ..
They literally wasted my time and patience.
If I dedicate time to raid..
I cant switch up and schedule work on the fly like that.. I missed out on gigs and open mics, for those idiots.
