Yes, The good weather is finally here. Time to get going on my 2008 lucerne too. Here is a good one for you - My back caliper leaks brake fluid. It does not do it all the time. It will leave a small (3 inch diameter spot) on the driveway. I finally tracked it down - It only does it with the parking brake on. So, I have new back calipers ordered in. Probably a seal. Then the front control arms get replaced. Need to also clean the throttle body too. Good luck on your CRX. I know you can do it. Also, Your weld looks fantastic! Great job.
@@themechanic6117 I think you do a great job welding from what I have seen. Can you imagine trying to weld on a EV? lol.. FIRE IN THE HOLE! lol.. I guess we are going to have some cool weather this week. Good weather to start working on the brakes. Have a good week and cannot wait for your next video.
Wait a minute. Aren't those hybrid cables? What happen to leave you stranded? I been thinking about getting them for my wife's 8th gen but not if they are failing?
Because I struggle to get the engine in or out with that mount in place. I always have to remove it. If I weld it it, it would be a nightmare every time the engine has to come out
@@themechanic6117 the driver side mount I thread a bolt in and hook my engine hoist to it to lift it high up. And then I roll my engine (that’s on a cart/dolly from harbor freight) under it and slowly lower it back down onto jack stands and remove the engine hoist, lower the front of the car off of the jackstands with the jack slowly onto the engine and line everything up and bolt it in.
@EF8SQUAD man that sounds scary to me 🤣 I need to see it in action. I just put the engine back in today from the top . It went easier this time around but it's no fun doing it by yourself...
wow nice job repairing that hole. thanks for the update on the crx lol
You're welcome. Yeah it turned out better than I was expecting
Summer will come and go on the CRX - 😊with all the other work with others cars. Take your time.
It's a struggle to find time to put into the crx 😔
Nice tip with the 🍊 👍
Progress is better than no progress.
Definitely 💯
Nice one bro 👍
Thanks for watching 💪

Sounds like you got your hands full with that one! Thank you. It sucks welding in weird places but I'm trying 👍

Beautiful
Thanks for watching 👍
You might want to tweak the title, it's easy to do now. Change lose to loose. Love your videos!
Ha! I didn't catch that mistake. Thanks , I'll fix it
Rock that shit out buddy! 💯
💪
I forgot about this channel lol. I just ordered Yellowspeed Uktralow coilovers for my CRX. check them out.
I haven't been posting much. It sucks having to make videos. I just want to get my work done most times without a camera. 👍
Funny I just did the same clutch fork job today, followed the same wrong video. Shame it was the first search result
Exactly!! 🤣 so I'm not the only victim lol

No ,the ones I have are ktuned but it's not the the cables themselves. It's the retainer clip that pops off and the cable comes out of the bracket.
why the choice to not weld the passenger side frame mount??
Because I struggle to get the engine in or out with that mount in place. I always have to remove it. If I weld it it, it would be a nightmare every time the engine has to come out
I’m curious, are you pulling the engine out from the top or bottom?
From the top. It's not fun ....
@@themechanic6117 oh man, it’s 100 times easier to do it out the bottom and you won’t have issues with the passenger side mount getting in your way.
How do you get the car up high enough to clear the engine? With out a lift
