yeah, that tends to happen to a lot of people. I use to be a Holden man, but same thing happened... drove a few and was easily converted. Much better steering accuracy, far more solid chassis, better interior etc. If you're into the car scene then you will realize Holden are for the young chaps that just want bling and sound, when the car taste matures it always goes FORD =)

I dunno where you are getting you're info from, but the xr5 is not a 4cyl!! It has the volvo B525, 2.5 ltr - 5 cylinder turbocharged engine. You could possibly be thinking of the xr4 which is a 2ltr naturally aspirated 4 cylinder.
I got stock falcon rims (215/55/16) on mine atm and with only 404 RWHP it wheel spins like it is in the wet lol.. This thing would be awesome with any tire
My favorite part about these comments are people who don't realise that the XR6T wasn't the first turbo powered Ford. Also Automatic XR6T's have launch control. You drop it into neutral and floor it, it'll only go to 3000rpm and when you bang it into drive away you go! I know this because I own one.

I have fg t with520 kw. That kind of power is unusable on road when this bad boys r rw drive. Chance of crashing is high. If y use traction control on, thats too strong or brake you shaft or something but no traction off y might gain better traction but can swing and bang. Now have 430 kw on 98. Can use kw better than these guy can. Might not be as responsive as e85 but better I believe.
These cars shouldnt belong to Aussieland as they are caged with lousy speed limits of 110kph lol.It should be freed at msian highways and german autobahns =)

It is because of the weight, if i put a 1000hp falcon engine in a r33 and a 1000hp rb in a r33 who would win? Wouldn't make 400Kw reliable without internal engine mods and a bigger turbo. FG turbo is smaller than then B-series turbo. I say you'd be looking at 10k, maybe more depending who does the work.

Yeah, Fuck thats a laugh. I used to be a loyal Holden fan until I drove my dads Ford for a couple of months and realised that they are just a better car in general. My Commodore (VE) feels really tinny & flicky (if you know what I mean) when driven. The Ford (FG) feels really solid & boy o' boy that thing is fast for just a straight FG Falcon. The interior looks more cleaner & luxury than the Holden & it just has more features then the Holden. I think I'm a Ford man now.

Yeah thats another point, to me high performance falcons are from GT r spec, but if we are talking above 700hp the only thing you could imagine being taken out of a falcon is from the V8 Supercars true? Yeah that seems right, because falcons are a family car afterall. I would love to have a GTR skyline anyday, but when it comes to comparing the two they are both high performance it just matters what you do to mod. They are not too bad. I got mine from autobahn (2 guage pod) had to file a bit of the back RHS corner to get it flush with the top of the stereo/sir vent cluster thingo. I also spaced the two top bolts of the steroe/vent cluster out with two washers....Had to have it perfectly flush or I would not be happy. Probably the harder bit was getting the screws on the front (mine is not the velcro pod) in level, as the section they screw into is on a differnt angle, die grinder fixed it lol.is ok

Just take a look at the engine by itself, the 4.0t engine on the falcon wrecks/demolishes the rb in the r33, BUT with major cons the falcon is much heavier and less customizable. With Skylines having one of the best engineered engines for its time, shouldnt you believe that falcons are high performance for keeping up?
