Just drove this vehicle for over 2000 km and there are few things I love about this SUV and few things that I don’t.
So far best car I have ever owned!

Hey Igor, we got the RAV4 also this year after we moved to Canada in January :) For the front protection I would suggest if you would wrap the front of the car with clear protection foil (PPF) like XPEL. It will also protect your camera lens, headlights, front hood and bumper, mirror covers etc. You can ever wrap the entire car. Just yesterday I have also installed a tow hitch for our bicycles, I went for aftermarket Curt 13416 Class 3 tow hitch. There are 4 mounting points already in the car frame so you do not have to take out the rear bumper to install it :) Apart of that it is a great car, I would also suggest that you will change oil at around 3000km :) Toyota/Lexus engines are prone to create a lot of small metal debries when the engine is new. I flushed the oil in our one after 3000km and I could see a lot of small metal debries :) and remember to go with 0W-16 for this engine :) Hit me up if you have any questions. I also forgot, I would recommend Nextbase dashcams - they are very easy to install and you can connect them directly to the fuse box very easy.

Thanks for taking the time to create and post this video. A few months ago I placed a deposit on the same vehicle and trim level. I probably won’t see it until late this year or early next year. I’ve owned several Toyotas over the years, including a generation 2 Prius, and I Love the reliability of Toyota vehicles! I wish you and your family well!
You can turn the beeping off Igor. Simply go to the menu where the safety sense is and hold on the button till it goes to sub menu. Here is where you can set the volume of the beep or turn it off and it will only show on your display

Igor can you please post the exact numbers for fuel consumption? I live in banff 1200m above sea level camry hybrid it never goes below 6.5-7litres on average

You can turn off the beeps for the blind spot monitoring. Plus the lane assist, I just don’t use unless on a low traffic highway trip at night or something.
What I HATE about the Gen 4.5 RAV4 are the front seats. The bucket seats; If you don’t already have sciatica, you WILL have it soon unless you get a good wedge cushion so that your knees aren’t 4 inches higher than your hips. Seat is very adjustable but not enough to overcome the canyon dip where your butt sits. W/o the wedge, I couldn’t survive.
And yes, the WORST thing about the limited is the JBL sound system. It’s the worst I’ve ever heard so I’ll have to spend a lot more money to get things upgraded in a few months.
It would have been nice if the wheel was heated all over, but oh well.
The Android Auto is very inconsistent. Infotainment is kind of annoying. All that screen and you can’t have multiple elements on it, only one at a time.
Yes, the cost is the only regret I have as well. And I too want to put a hitch on and install a louder horn.

Best to wait for new 2024 redesign. ICE engine discontinued, 350h infotainment system, improved sound deadening. ✅
