    Opting for the AWD Hybrid over the standard ICE RAV4 is a no-brainer, as the difference in cost will be returned quickly in fuel savings. Also, the Toyota E-CVT transmission is a gear-drive, not a belt-drive unit, and very reliable. I have never heard of anyone having problems with it.

      Someone once told me the newer Civic Type R cost double the EP3's which were £15k new in like 2002 or something. I did mention that it's been like 20 years.
      41k 20 years a go probably got you a lot for your money. For today, 41k isn't that much really.

    Great video!
    1) When to use "Trail" vs "Traction Off" button?
    2) Any practical reason why Limited has the chrome accent front & read lower bumper? All black honestly looks cleaner IMO.
    3) Does truck have a button to close truck+lock all doors?
    4) Why in the world did Toyota skimp out on storage pocket behind the driver seat? Utter blunder or actual reason?
    5) What's the best way to get black rims (like XSE) to switch out ones on stock Limited tires?

    • @NathanielStockwell
      @NathanielStockwell ปีที่แล้ว

      1) When to use "Trail" vs "Traction Off" button? Trail mode is a system that performs integrated control for the AWD, brake, and drive force control systems to assist the drive power on bumpy roads such as a dirt trail. It uses the open differential and braking system to send power from the slipping wheel to the wheel with traction between the left and right sides of the vehicle. Traction Off mode disables the traction control system, which may be useful when trying to free the vehicle from mud or snow. Trail mode should only be used on bumpy, rough roads, while Traction Off mode should be used with caution and only when necessary²⁴.
      2) Any practical reason why Limited has the chrome accent front & read lower bumper? All black honestly looks cleaner IMO. I could not find any definitive answer to this question, but it seems to be a matter of personal preference and style. Some people may like the chrome accent as a way to differentiate the Limited trim from other models, while others may prefer the all-black look for a more sleek and sporty appearance.
      3) Does truck have a button to close truck+lock all doors? Yes, according to the owner's manual, there is a power back door switch on the instrument panel that can be used to open or close the back door. There is also a back door lock button on the back door handle that can be used to lock all doors when leaving the vehicle.
      4) Why in the world did Toyota skimp out on storage pocket behind the driver seat? Utter blunder or actual reason? I could not find any official explanation from Toyota for this design choice, but some online reviews have speculated that it may be due to cost-cutting measures or limited space availability. Some reviewers have also noted that there are other storage options in the RAV4 hybrid, such as the large center console bin, glove box, door pockets, and cup holders.
      5) What's the best way to get black rims (like XSE) to switch out ones on stock Limited tires? There are different ways to get black rims for your RAV4 hybrid, depending on your budget and preference. One option is to buy aftermarket wheels that are compatible with your vehicle and tires. Another option is to paint or powder coat your existing wheels with black color. A third option is to use wheel covers or skins that fit over your wheels and give them a black appearance. You can find these products online or at local auto shops.
