On rare occasions you come across a video like this that makes you feel guilty watching it because you should be paying for the priviledge of watching it. This is one of those. The dealership where I purchased my RAV4 did not even know half of the features that are covered here. And they are covered well. Great job and thank you for this. I will be watching this many times.

I just bought my RAV 4 yesterday and the salesperson didn't go over anything with me except help me help set up the toyota app. I had about 6 booklets with tiny diagrams and type, so I found your video which REALLY helped me understand all of the buttons. Thank you so much! Really, really helpful! And now I don't feel like I need to go through all of those manuals!

Great tutorial. Had my car a couple days and found this to be extremely helpful. Wish all Toyota dealers would use your video for a rool to train all sales personnel. Our 2 sales people knew nothing about the set ups of a RAV 4 safety features or apple screen.

I was a total stranger in my own RAV4 2023 car for the past few weeks ...I was able to connect the phone to it and play on my phone but now after this video I can boldly say i just bought the car today and actually owned the car. thank you Brian from today I will take charge. Brian, I just bought a 2024 RAV4 XLE Premium, and I didn't know enough to ask any questions. My last car was a 2008 Saturn Aura XE - so it's been 16 years since I've had a new car! This was SO helpful! Thank you! I’ve had mine for almost a year and still didn’t know what all the buttons were. 2 questions- 1. Can you connect a passenger’s phone to listen to their music? 2. More general question- what can I do to improve the MPG? Mine has decreased a bit and I’m not sure what things I could/should be doing to be more fuel efficient. Thank you!! ✌️
Thanks for watching! 1. Yes, they can either plug into the USB, or make a separate Bluetooth connection. Your Bluetooth must be turned off of your phone for the car to do this. Because your car will always favor you. 2. If you live anywhere that gets cold in winter, that’s the main reason. The fuel quality goes down, and the cars work harder to warm themselves for you. But these work for me: •proper tire air pressure (checked monthly) •new engine air filter yearly •use the proper fuel for the car (regular 87 for most Toyota cars) •oil changes every 5k miles or 6mo (whichever first) with the proper oil. ________________________ •no harsh acceleration •no harsh braking •keep RPMs below 4,000 often •no idling •read articles on “hyper miling” *I break the bottom rules all the time because I like to enjoy my vehicle. I never break the top rules. But if you’re in winter like me, mpg will go down. Especially if you remote start your vehicle like I do. Hope this helps you

Most of his tutorial pertain to my 2024 rav as well. Thanks again. . My question is when I open my driver side with my FOB in my pocket, my passenger doors do not open. I have to manually unlock their doors from the inside. Is there a way to unlock their doors at the same time???????
Hi Brian, thank you for your tutorials. I bought a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium two days ago. The salesman did a good job of explaining the buttons and settings but it was rather overwhelming at the time. The last car I bought was a 2005 Camry LE so this is all new to me. One example is the Hold button which will help in the Costco gas lines 😊 I found you by searching for a RAV4 infotainment videos. Thank you for these informational videos. Helps me with my questions

Great video very helpful. We have a 2020 XSE Hybrid AWD and the only thing I can't find is the readout of all 4 tires PSI. Maybe they added it to new ones but it's an annoying oversight on a car with otherwise all the modern tech.

I got a rav 4 awd hse for Xmas 2023, the dash looks nothing like the you tube post, I’m in Aust so that is one difference. I haven’t got the radio, there is the media panel in the middle ? Lots of other diffs, too many to mention !

Hi Hal, thank you. The battery regenerates on its own when you decelerate and when you drive at higher speeds. The car does it all for you in the background.
Hi Brian, thanks for the video. Proud new owner of a hybrid Rav. Never owned a Toyota before. You mentioned that ECO mode will power the vehicle down. Does that mean that it's not a good idea to drive on the highway/freeway in that mode? Since the day I bought the vehicle I have only had it in Push Normal and am wondering if maybe I could be saving even more gas by switching. Thank you.

Menu>settings>customize vehicle>door lock settings>unlock all doors

What are “lower speeds? Below 10 mph? 20? 30? I’d only use below 10 in a parking lot. It could be useful if it is 35 mph or less.
