Long live the AU. I recently bought a very low Series 3 Fairmont Ghia and upgrading exhaust. Need to add road holding suspension next and find a fault with no fuel when cornering left or right under power. I ran into a fella with a Series 3 Ghia V8 at the wreckers and had a great chat. My other car is an EH Holden Premier and I like to think I've got the best of both Ford and Holden. I much appreciate your dedication to the AU so please do an update. The AU is now finding it's place in Aussie history much like the EH did.
Yeah very nice, yeah the au is by far my favourite ford without a doubt, I’ll probably do another video of this car as there’s still more to be done to it, you issue is probably fuel surge maybe replace the fuel pump

when you remove an LPG installation what happens to any remaining fuel ? I recall a story of someone in Adelaide that removed an LPG installation in their back yard and weather conditions allowed the gas to be ignited by the instantaneous gas hot water system ,(that had a pilot light ) attached to the rear of the house. When a vehicle does not get driven for a couple of years does the petrol get contaminated with condensation?
They have a valve on the tank witch closes when the line has been removed hence why when I removed the tank there was no leaking coming from it, as far as I know the lpg in it was still good as the car did run on lpg perfectly fine
With the steering clunk. That could be due to the "uni joint" where the wheel bends for the steering rack. Brother had that problem in his ed went to a scrap yard and got one and it fixed it. My not be your problem here but yeah.
