I'd love it if *Heroes of Might & Magic* became an MMO in the style of WoW.
Also *Magic the Gathering* but not the top down last epoch-style, but also the WoW 3rd person style.
Also the *Dark Sun* and *Gamma World* DnD settings I would love to see that turned into an MMO.

QOTW: I kinda already got my wish with Parkan - No Man's Sky is pretty close. If only I could customise my outpost to manufacture starship fighters that would defend the planet.
Other than that, Blades in the Dark - something kinda play-by-post, with a finite number of factions and territories, turn-based, with everyone voting, resulting in "AI" text narrative. And you could pass the time and make incremental progress with a minigame, maybe even a skirmish mode.

One IP that is often forgotten or overlooked but would be ripe for an MMO is Vampire Earth.

QOTW:Borderlands Should have gotten an mmo instead of BL3. Something along the lines of Warframe or Destiny would fit the franchise very well.
For something that isn't already a video game, Any Series from Mercedes Lackey or Anne McCaffrey, or Katharine Kerr would make for a good world to explore

Not sure about using the same world but I love the art style of Okami and would be excited to see a game with that aesthetic ^_^

ICYMI both The Expanse show and the books are done so maybe someone will go back to the original idea and make an MMORPG? I wouldn't hold my breath.

Maybe a John Wick mmo? definitely will be a pvp mmo. Just imagine, someone, higher level, runs up and takes your node. You go to the Continental Hotel, and put a hit on that person. Accept hits on people. Kind of reminds me of the assassination game in Meridian59. Was a lot of fun.

Given how pretty much any online game made these days will be free to play, with painfully bad monetization, I've found myself gravitating more to older titles, as new ones just tend to not work for me, so I'd honestly rather not see one made for an IP I like. Although in an ideal world, I think some kind of at least more PvE oriented mech game would be great, like something in the Battletech universe. There are PvP related online mech games, but nothing I know of that's more PvE related.

A-Bomb to Ubisoft getting into my world of Star Wars with Outlaws. Promising immersive open world RPG Star Wars. Yes, you guys gave us that feeling with AC Origin and AC Odyssey. But then you always tried to sell us on Skull and Bones. And laughably said that it is quadruple A. If Skull and Bones is your "best" idea of open world RPG then leave my Star Wars alone and GTFO my lawn.
QOTW: I have made no secret of this, and you guys mentioned it in the cast. What IP needs to be an MMORPG is the world of Horizon. I know thats what they are teasing with whatever will be Skyline. Boo for letting NCSoft take the lead on it. But everything I like about MMORPGs is something the Horizon property can fulfill. Characters created in many different tribes. Weapon and Gear crafting. Amazing story narrative for content. Potential for large co-op open world fights with larger machines. Dungeons in the form of old world bunkers and cauldrons. Rival tribes competing in PVP style battlegrounds.

Genshit is a single player game, with optional, limited multiplayer, not a MMO. Then while people kept trying to compare Tower of Fantasy, to Genshit, largely due to a false claim that the devs said it would be the Genshit killer, the only things they have in common is that they use anime style art, have an open world, and have a gacha. Tower of Fantasy is more it's own thing, and exists in a sci-fi setting, rather than a fantasy one, like Zelda, and Genshit.
