We cut our 8 trees years ago to prevent them from falling in our home. We planted crepe myrtles instead...they are as tall as our one story home. We are sooooo happy every hurricane season

Y’all wanna know something fucked up. I stay downtown in Houston and we were the first to get our power back on.. also, I’ve been trying desperately to get on a crew somehow to go out and clean but I can’t find someone to hire me for the life of me… shits stupid. If all my neighbors weren’t rich I’d be outta power like most of my friends still. I stay in an apartment we had water lapping at our door and coming in. When the real deal hurricane hits were fuuuucked. Js.
