To see someone literally start at the absolute beginning including poor form and unable to do one chin up is exactly why this is gonna turn out to be an epic transformation and one of the best shows of progress ANY beginner wants to see, and needs to see, in order to believe that anyone can do it. There's absolutely no room for hate. I hope jack in 2024 wakes up the naysayers 👊 Keep smashing it.

Jack, you’re one Hell of a brave lad to put yourself in front of the world like this. Keep at it and you’re going to be an incredibly lean muscle lad!!! You’ve got the perfect metabolism to be lean/muscular swimmer’s type build.
This lad will benefit massively from negatives. I couldnt do any chin ups or pull ups till i jumped to the top and slowly lowered myself.
He could do same with press ups to.
Its great seeing Jack continue to progress and put himself out there even despite the trolls or hate, he is alot better than he was when he forst started and thats all that matters. In another half a year he would have made even more progress and give it five years I have no doubt he will make an unbelievable transformation if he keeps it up. You're a great man and its great to see you working and helping newcomers like Jack get into fitness.

A couple of little things i get from Aldi are the dry Cranberry's packs...Great for snacking and about 500cals per 150g bag and don't fill you up..I also add their little chocolate brownie bites and Raisins to my oats for breakfast for a few xtra calories....Seems like Jack doesn't have much problem getting in the 3000 cals per day like most hard gainers struggle to consume/eat that much per day...(In my case anyways) Doesn't help like Jack that i can't have peanut butter and just for extra annoyance i'm allergic to Cheese too which is a double whammy when looking for a easy high calorie foods.

I'm so jealous of the low prices of items in your UK grocery store! I always thought things were more expensive in the UK. Here in the US I can probably get half of those items for around $40
I had the same reaction, I live in nyc and that cart is easily well over $100 here.
Comments here are wild for whats trying to be acheived. Who gives a f* about pushup form on a guy who can (currently) do less than 10. How do you think form and body mechanics function? By repetition. As for the shopping list, the absolute zealots pushing their high fat agenda on someone who is completely new to fitness is absurd. Have the kid get the calories in by any means, where he can be satiated while not being in a "dirty bulk" surplus. Calories by processed food/shakes, via fruit and veg, or by chicken breast, it matters significantly less than how this guy feels once his body starts to change towards his goals. Not only that, the title of this video is Bulking on A Budget, these items purchased in the list are all budget freindly.

People don’t realise that good form only comes with adequate strength. If you can barely do a pushup, your form by default is going to be trash. It’s like expecting someone learning a pullup to have “good form” when they can barely do 1

this series is so helpful and inspiring for someone who also is struggling to gain weight without a bank loan. thanks lads
ive really been feeling the urge to post this so ill just go for it. im a little concerned because i was built like jack my whole life. 6 foot 3, 125 pounds. long story short i fell in love with lifting but couldnt put on any weight eating about 3k calories a day like he is. anyways it turns out that i have a medical condition called exocrine pancreatic insufficiency meaning i get no nutrition from my food essentially without medical intervention (enzyme pills that i have to take every time i eat). if you go for a few months eating in a heavy caloric surplus and dont gain barely any weight, im just saying i would have never known if not for going to see a GI doctor. not trying to fear monger or anything im just worried the guy might not get the results hes looking for. ill never gain much but i did gain about twenty pounds in the first year of being on enzymes and am much better off now. good luck jack. and i only say this because he is skinny, like really, really skinny. just like i was.

He looks so bored and uninterested in every video ive ever seen him in, he's very awkward on camera even though he is a good few months into this and he is also is completely void of any personality, I once ate a pack of cheese & onion crisps which actually had more life than this guy, nothing to do with his physique his just entire persona is quite off putting. Some people feel uncomfortable on camera and talking especially in like public and being around people just give him time to gain confidence and talking to people I'm the same as him I come off as really shy at first but he's new to everything the fame and all that so he's adjusting to it give him time don't hate
If you feel uncomfortable on camera don’t become a TH-camr or fitness influencer. It’s inherently important

I disagree with these purchases.
1. If you want to bulk. Skip the carbs. Eat high fat, high/moderate protein.
2. Chicken breast?? Kidding me, get him some chicken thighs or wings with higher fat content.
3. You are recommending him 5-10% mince?? Do 20% please.
4. Avocados?
5. Skip the toasts and double up on the eggs!
6. Jam and ultra processed Pizza?? Please nooo!
ONE INGREDIENT FOODS!
Eggs(6-10 a day), meat, high fat yogurt, vegs, olives, mackerel, fat fish. No processed protein shake with sweeteners!

There’s more than one way to skin a cat dude…
Jack is already hitting his calorie intake… 3k isn’t unachievable for him so the suggestion of higher fats foods isn’t required here, but is a good option for those who may need it!
Carbs and fat content is also massively dependant on the individual and what they best digest… for me personally I operate better off high fat low carb… but this is not for everyone
The key to any diet is sustainability… if that means enjoying some of life’s foods that don’t fall into “optimal” then so be it 🤝

Why can’t jack have a high fat no carb diet? You’re jacked and so does he want to be! He can digest that as well, it might need a day or two to transition but it’s no worries
Just get real high fat food like high fat mince, steaks, thighs, salmon and stop the processed stuff!! This is hurting people

It's fine if you can't do pushups,but it's not fine when you do these kind of "pushups" 1:26 and counting them as pushups if you can't do normal pushups do them on your knees or the wall but don't do this please
