Love this and as a current owner of a Dodane and a previous owner of a ZRC - am always trying to big out these completely unknown French brands with some incredible watches.
You’d think the cork sniffers would be all over this one! Stunning movement and a classy dial- great combo. Well out of my price range and not quite my style… for the money I’m more of a Sinn U1 or 4 assorted Seiko prospex/presage kinda guy 😅
The moment is simply on another level to every think else out there , I do love my Sinn's not sure if you noticed ;) but I wear when I want understated cool
As French, you are truely spot on about the brand, very confidential. I think you got one of their best. They have done titanium with 44mm even more sporty looks, wouldn't wear it even with my 8" wrist. They are gone crazy colors all over the place with Royale Saphir lately. They did release Concorde line but the dial is so empty on 40mm (36mm is ok), I was expecting a Grande Date complication at least, and made a rose gold tourbillon, no one really talked about. Hopefully they'll have enough to invest in more R&D to make calibre royal smaller and then release smaller model of this kind, again to me it's one of their best design. 😁
I did email them to see if I could review some others as I believe I'm one of the very few who has reviewed them in English but they never get back to me which is a real shame. I have reviewed the a Gand Date and WOW its 😍 th-cam.com/video/17uf0Y_mA30/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gt5j0iPwaAZlkPqj
Thank you for this review. It is true those watches are fantastic with an unique manufacture caliber but unfortunately not enough marketing even in France. I had the chance to get the Royal Saphire 2019 limited edition, great watch!
I know that model its gorgeous, I've contacted them many times asking if I could review there watches but they never get back to me, Its a shame as I'm one of the very few who have made reviews of their watches in English
This is quite classically beautiful. It is a shame they are all but completely unknown, their website is replete with incredibly beautiful timepieces. The Royal GMT is stunning and they do show a dive watch at around Omega Planet Ocean money with a strange quarter-turn crown which would be interesting to see someone review. Truly beautiful and unusual watch wear it well and enjoy. Thank you for the review.
They simply are beautiful watches PS Ive already reviewed the dive watch Sir here is a link to it th-cam.com/video/VeuLUQWmIJY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=S9hMCozTZb6VSvFm
That's certainly a new one. Your enthusiasm's understandable. Love the movement and the perfect choice of font for the numerals. But alas, a little large for me although I suppose the movement dictated the dimensions.
When I show this to some of my watchmaking friends they really are amazed and it takes a lot as we are used to seeing cool watches everyday but this always gets a wow out if them
Hi Barry, this is a class act, that's for sure. For comparison I'd be comparing it with Grand Seiko manual winding models: their relative prices make this a true bargain. I would rather it was smaller, frankly, but that's not a problem with the watch: a lot of Muhle watches are too big for me as well. Thank you for reminding us of this company again, you done good. LG Bob 🍻 🍻 🍻
Any time Bob I do love this brand but they never get back to any of my emails as I'd love to review more , I honestly think they are a complete bargain
Not hacking saves money and the movement. I have some that do and some that don’t. I figure it’s not worth it to chase a few seconds. I may be wrong at the end when I wish I had those precious seconds back. I guess it’s all perspective.
Simply superb, loved the figures on the timegrapher.
They are just so well made and pretty rare
Pretty insane. That’s their own movement? Not just a decorated off-the-shelf movement? I’m blown away.
This is in another league to the standard ETA2824 or 2892 you get in everything else at this price level

This blows away many models double the price or even more to be fair, The movement is 2nd to none
First I’ve heard of this maker! It’s very beautiful. Reminds me a little of my Nomos.
They are simply beautiful and well worth checking, I've reviewed a couple already

They have some divers and pilot watches as well.
I've reviewed the diver and one of the others, I really like the brand just a real shame I can't get my hands on anymore

@@ClickSpringReview Real shame yes, someone as kinda the same with Yema another french watchmaker. I can see a patern 😅
@@Cravenfr Yema actually did send me 2 watches to review once so hats off to them
Thanks for the review and like many others I'd not heard of them 😊
Cheers Duncan 👍🏻

Pequignet makes fantastic watches. They do zero marketing. I think there is one jeweler in the states, in Newport Rhode Island, that sells them.
They really do but you never see them in the wild which makes them even more special I think

@@ClickSpringReview A comparison with something from D.Dornblüth & Sohn perhaps? Seems to fill the same niche. What do you reckon?
Yes 100% I was talking about D.Dornblüth only yesterday at work to my boss
Beautiful piece.
I liken it to a French equivalent of Dornblüth und Sonne.
Yes I see where your coming from with that
It’s beautiful but I wish it were a little smaller.
Me to but I still love it I think the case size is driven by the movement size

Stunning!
It surly is plus at the price it has very little if any competition

Yeah its not the end of the world but I have to say I would of liked it
I want one
They really are a bit special Sir
This is what IWC should be 😂
Yeah thats true
