Before coming out always remember to have a safe space you can go to just in case things dont work out the way it should. I don’t want to scare anyone out of coming out. I just care and would hate to see more LGBTQ+ people out there suffering. So just make sure you have a safe place you can always go to! 🩵

Makes me so sad to hear stories like this. Why in 2024 do we even have to "come out"? Why does it matter who you love? You be you, you are doing great! Good luck with the channel. My parents where the total opposite, "I'm gay Mum and Dad" the response was amazing, "oh we know that, are you happy? When do we meet your boyfriend?" That's how it should be! All the best! X
Yeah i mean i didnt have it as bad others but either way wish i didnt have to deal with that either. Im happy for you though! I wish it was like that for everyone. It should be imo ❤
Sad part is, you were not allowed to be you, I am proud of you. I can't imagine the psychological pain. Be who you are, you will be happy. Unfortunately I can't. My best advice.

First to say, I'm Sorry for the loss Jatyn, you have my condolences. I can't imagine the pain I would feel if I lost my Mother, especially at the age you were. You didn't really discuss her a lot in the video and you didn't really get to come out to her, huh?
You started off saying that your coming out story isn't a great one for everyone accepting, but you seem to have been lucky with your support, your sister, the people you happen to find, and/or found you. Even though you and your elementary school friend fell off, two homosexual boys finding each other that young and befriending each other is rare. I know that when I was younger, at no point would another boy come up to me and be like, "Hey, I'm gay" and I was quite feminine as a child. I also went to elementary school in the 90s, middle school and high school in the 2000s in Kentucky. You want to talk about messy, my first experiences with homosexuality are disgusting.

And yeah i guess to me it wasnt great just because I was dealing with a whole lot of other things at the time and everything seemed horrible lol but i look back now and an like i know i was being dramatic

My bf is actually around the same age as you and he was saying he definitely knows where youre coming from since yall are from the same time when it wasnt okay. He said it literally got to a point where he couldnt stand it anymore and as soon as he came out he felt freed.
He said he had to figure out what he valued more feeling “normal” or being the you that isnt hiding.
