I have an Asus K43S laptop, it's battery is not working anymore so I bought a new one, I put the new battery on and it was working fine until it reaches 60%, when it reaches 60% it shuts down itself so I tried looking in internet about it, done some fixing, it was working fine until it reaches 45%, now, when it reaches 45%, it shuts down itself even if the charger is plugged in and even though I already did the reboot of the battery.
I was getting the power off issue even though batter was at 96%. I could not even start the laptop without using the charger at first. Just for fun, I will experiment with 50% max processor state on battery and see what happens. Thanks for sharing the tip.
My problem has become, even though my laptop says it has charge, it will all of a sudden shutdown as if I pulled the battery, and when I go to turn back on, power light flashes like "zero batterym then soon as I plug in the cord, the "Full charge light" is on and boots up fine, and shows I have 100%, so wtf is going on, PLEASE HELP...also, even though I will unplug it after full charge, and then hibernate, sometimes it will do the above also, not turn on with the "zero battery" light, then plug solves this, but defeats the prupose or a portable device...but soon as plugged in, the 100% lasts...untill random "battery pull" behavior occurs, WHY? :( (Toshiba satelite, windows 10)
Hello and good day. i have an Acer aspire one ZHG. I got a new battery but it goes off when it reaches 70% and would not get on until i plug it. and when i plug it, it comes back with 70% and continues working. but this usually happens when i play a video. As soon as i play a video it will run for a few minutes and goes off until i plug it again. I am contemplating getting a new battery, but am scared the problem might not be the battery. How do i fix this please. thanks.

Thank you so much for this video. Actually I have Lenovo YOGA 910-13IKB and battery model number is L15M4P23. The issue is battery shows 50% charged but when unplugged the laptop turns off. I had upgraded the bios and it had worked properly for 4 to 5 days after that the same problem occurred. I did the same thing (upgrade the bios) and now it is working fine. I need to understand the actual issue and how to resolve it on a permanent basis. I am sure your reply will definitely help to get rid of this issue. Best Rehgards.

Hello, MSi GT70 2PC laptop... done all of your steps no luck. However, I've booted into safe mode and it works on just the battery. Something in software maybe? Or do you think maybe some of the hardware shorts in normal mode on battery? Also, it's a new battery from this year. Thanks!!!

looks like it works. But 25% is probably too low and would cause significant performance drop. I changed it to 50% for atleast a better performance. I'm fine as long as Im not doing any heavy duty work unplugged.
