I got so tensed that the issue was not being resolved for hours and hours and I almost gave up after watching hundreds of videos but your advice worked man. It took a while to verify the files but finally when it completed the verification process, it fixed the corrupt files and then the battery percentage kept going up. Thank you so much for saving my bucks!!!!

90% of the cause of this problem is the battery voltage is too low. So the charging circuit can't activate the battery protection in the battery. Because of the voltage too low the bms in the battery doesn't allow any current pass into battery. The fastest to fix this problem is to replace the battery 🔋. Sorry my bad English. Thanks.😁🙏

Replace battery or backup ALL ur data on a databank, usb or whatever [i prefer databank] and then buy a new laptop, and then transfer all ur files to the new laptop
If none worked, before going for a replacement, try to charge while your laptop is turned off, wait for 1 hour or more, if it's still didn't take any charge, then go for a replacement

Beat this one for ease: I just unplugged the cable to the little power box thingy that the laptop plugs into to get its power and then plugged it back in. Job done ha. I guess maybe it wasn't plugged in properly, although the box thingy's power light was on, but yeah...

If all these 7 methods fail then the next step is go obtain a large hammer,, place battery on a hard surface,, swing the hammer from over your shoulder and aim at the centre of the battery,,, strike with a full blow and then the battery will not require any more diagnosis,,, it will be absolutely DEAD,,, as DEAD as it was before ;-)) Happy Xmas
The newer laptops give you no access to your battery because they hardwire them in now & they say if you open the laptop it will void your warranty. What do you do in this case?
By this method it may show charging , but it does not charge the battery... Issue still persists... I have done this method even after replacing new battery and new AC adapter , Still its not charging...... Same issue.... This same issue is seen in HP , Dell , Alienware ,Acer and so on..... I think this is definitely a bug related to windows updates and software incompatibility.... This has nothing to do with hardware I guess , and everyone is going on replacing the hardwares to save their laptops. Nobody has any solution to this issue.... Everybody has copy pasted same thing everywhere in the internet... Quite frustrating... Something fishy here...

Method 2 worked for me, power off, remove battery, turn power on, delete drivers, install battery, power on, and it charged to 100%.
