    One more tip! When the laminated sign my husband made to let others know the pooch had been fed started coming apart, I put it in between a folded silicone sheet, and used an iron to seal it back up. My silicone sheets are baking sheet/placemat sized, so plenty large enough to cover, and fold over objects that need sealed.
    Another tip! Iron on patches, or fusible applique. I even use these on my cards. I die cut shapes out of iron on patches, or fabric backed with paper backed fusible web and fuse them to cardstock cut from the same die for extra dimension, doing all of that fusing on a silicone sheet.
    Those sheets are great! Dry embossing, gluing, fusing, repairing of lamination ~ the list goes on!!

    Wow thanks for sharing these tips! I have a silicon baking for kneading mat and immediately put it to use. I particularly liked your tip on doing a mirror image when stamping and for gluing which is most useful when trying to spread glue on very detailed die cuts.

      @wendywilson1736 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! I bought a pack of 3 backing sized sheets. One got a rip in it so I will cut that down to use that for small quick jobs, since I can't tape it back up! Tape won't stick, either!
      I haven't even used the 3rd sheet yet!

    Thanks for this tutorial! I especially like using the Craft Sheet when gluing intricate dies onto a card. When I've finished applying glue and have placed the piece on my card, instead of pressing the piece with my hand or other object, I place the mat on top, and use it to apply pressure. If any glue seeps out, it goes onto the mat. A really great tool!

    I read a lot and I carry a notebook with book descriptions in it so when I finish one book I can choose from the description which one I want next, then just load it into my Kindle. I started a new notebook and wanted to decorate so I took out my washi tape. I did all my 82 pages and finally figure out the washi wasn't at the right place and made my book look funny. So I decided to pull all the tape from the pages; I also had 11 pages done with descriptions. Well it broke the paper AKA holes, and I had to repair everything. I just finished today. Last night it dawned on me that instead of using talcum so the pages wouldn't glue to each other, I started using my silicone pad and it worked so much better. So while I was repairing one side of the page, the silicone was below it, protecting the page there, then I just turned the page and repair without damage. Long story short I really love my silicone mat when I don't loose it somewhere. Any idea about that? TFS Nicole PS If someone follows you like I do, they would see all those tricks along when you play but it's good to have them all in one place!

    Thanks Connie. I have 2 so I can place them together for bigger projects. Can I use alcohol markers on them without staining? The reverse stamping is a great idea, but I would do the reverse one first as I think it would be easier to see the placement for the forward image.
