Only the media thought the suns were a title favorite.
Their owner is a criminal for destroying their franchise for the next decade given the GM is just a puppet
on paper they would win the championship, but they are not playing in the paper playoffs
@@leoneildy2224 I don't think so. Even on paper, the team balance is just bad. Plenty of basketball fans were saying the Beal trade didn't make sense.
They sacrificed everything for offense, but defence wins games. KD once got roasted by a comedian for throwing adhominem and trying to argue that offense wins games, but the comedian fired right back, calling KD just a side piece pea shooter and that Warriors really didn't need him to win championships.
I think most fans saw this coming.
@@leoneildy2224 on paper im still taking Harden, Leonard, George and Westbrook over Beal, Durant, and Booker
AGREED 100%.
The phoenix Buns pulled out a play straight from the old Brooklyn nets playbook
Not the same at all
You spelled bums wrong
Yep, they got cooked real nice.
@@lc41086buns, bums they stink regardless the odor is TERRIBLE
Iso gang!
I could honestly see the Timberwolves giving the Nuggets quite the run for their money.
It's a tossup between them tbh. The wolves almost won without Naz, Gobert, and KAT. Kyle Anderson played the 5 lmao but that's also regular season.
They match up really well, TWolves offensive deficiencies is what will cause them to lose.
As well as Nuggets defensive deficiencies, it is a toss up between these two.
Wolves are a legit contender
@@jerikohthe Nuggets have a decent defense, their offense is more than enough to compensate for their defensive issues at least, I know these series will be super exciting but I still have Denver in 6
The Bradley Beal trade will go down as the worst trade of all time not kd trade.
there are worse trades, but sure
Definitely because they have no way of making the team better now because no team will take him unless you also bundle it with picks they don’t have or players they don’t have
Beal done for…not everyone ages like Bron and KD you already see Beal slowing down like crazy
One of the worst, but I don't think it's beating Celtics trading aging KG/Paul Pierce to the Nets for massive amount of picks anytime soon
Lakers westbrook trade
The ironic thing is the Gobert trade made the Durant trade more expensive and ultimately more costly for Phoenix. People clowned the Wolves for that trade; two bigs won’t work, Gobert can be played off the floor, all those picks. But what Minnesota was able to do the that trade and Phoenix couldn’t was keep core rotation players like 3-and-D Jaden McDaniels and now 6-man-of-the-year Naz Reid.
Personally I don't actually think it did. Minnesota also called up Brooklyn for KD and they wanted either kat or ant plus a ton of draft capital. Basically they said they asked for too much for KD, so they said no and then got Gobert instead. I think that trade season was always gonna be wildly expensive even if we didn't trade for gobert judging by how much the nets asked for KD before the Gobert trade even happened.
Shut out to the wolves for figuring out putting Gobert and KAT together. I was very high on the trade when it first happened as I can see how adding Gobert could potentially lift Wolves ceiling by a lot, only to be very disappointed. Hence I am super happy to see it works out.
Nuggets VS Wolves would be hard for me as I like both Joker and Antman.
@@dontbedummy8101it seems more like a Western Conference Finals tbh than the Semi Finals lol
booker has already so many fathers already hahah
LMAO.
At this point Luka is his grandfather 😂
they’re gonna have to fight each other for custody of little Book
i think of ant as kds father instead of booker
He also has many kids of his own.....
I think the Suns with CP3, Booker, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson and Ayton has better shot against Wolves. hahaha. The current Suns basically only has shooting but no any sort of defense and playmaking. Only Durant is a good defender in their starting lineup while even Wolves doesn't have good offense still able to demolish Suns poor defense.
All the Suns needed to do was to adjust the lineup by trading CP3 and the no-longer-locked-in Ayton. What a joke they traded the farm for KD and then traded the remaining of the farm for Beal.
The only smart move the Suns can make this off season would be to trade Durant and Booker for as many picks and young players that they can get and go into full rebuild mode. Beal has a no trade clause so they are stuck with him. They have to blow it up and trade those guys why they can get value out of them otherwise they will end up like the 2010s Nets, a place no team wants to be.
Trading Book is likely out the equation. They should try to get whatever value they can out of trading KD though.
@@NewGoldie Sure but if Suns trade Durant and then miss the playoffs, sooner or later Booker will try and force a trade out of Phoenix at which case his value will tank and the haul they can get for him will probably be diminished.
@@MistyKathrine Lol then they better not miss the playoffs then. But they simply cant trade Booker so abruptly. They still gotta sell tickets at the end of the day. If Booker ends up wanting out they'll still recoup a lot for him. Hell look what Phoenix gave up for KD when he wanted out of Brooklyn.
@@NewGoldiethey are definitely not making the playoffs next season currently constructed might as well rebuild asap.
@@Shawnjohson1608 Ehh that isnt a guarantee. If Beal is healthy(ish) next season they'll win enough games to make the playoffs.
Just shows your how important a PG is and how good cp3 really was
Cp3 a cornball man. Theirs a reason he ain’t got a ring yet buddy.
@@lc41086true. But I think he would be hell of a lot more effective than Beal has been these playoffs.
@@lc41086was the team better with him or with kd and beal 😂😂 chris paul went to finals…. kd went to first round

The better choice is now clear enough in hindsight.
You NEVER trade for a 34 year old hired gun, who's already popped an Achilles, frail and a bit soft...
And well in fact the suns got swept by my Wolves!! GO WOLVES!!!
KD said offense beats out defense....like, did he miss the whole history of the NBA? All the teams that have won were top 10 in defense
He is stupid
Cant blame KD. I talk to a lot of casual NBA fans and they think the same thing. Probably didnt realize the importance Draymond was when he left Golden State thinking his and Kyrie's offense will lead him to more titles.
Idk bro there’s a thing that says the team with more 3 pointers has an 80% more chance of winning look at jimmyhighroller vid about the nba being unpredictable
@user-uu7mq8bx4t which is why defense becomes even more critical. I know which video you are talking, I think it was the same video or some other one where he mentioned that 3s are high risk high reward points. So if you are defense can even make a 3 point shooter miss half of his 3s you are still going to come out on top as long as you have a successful possession on other side.
Bro thought he was in 2K 😂
I never looked at the Suns as a “SuperTeam” 😂

The Suns disaster exposes how little the media know about team building.

Incredible organizational collapse
They blew up their core to have 3 ball dominate players and no role players. It never works.

Turn me up Dennis!! Ps: join the cord 👀
Great presentation. Thank you.
thank YOU!
This is definitely a super team! They're completely stacked. Everyone expected them to sweep their way to win the championship.
KD is one of my favorite players but thë Suns really can’t get æ win to save their lives 😂
Baby Book so shook he wants to run out east
Well they tried going the draft route...and it flopped. So how can you blame them? If you can pair KD with booker, and then add beal and nurkic, that should make you a borderline contender
They had the opportunity to draft better. So yes they are still to blame for the shit show they are currently in
Yup. The Suns may be done. Have they given enough meaningful minutes to some players on the bench? Is there sunlight there? Can they develop some of these players?
First reaction when the trade happened: “Yup I’ll come back to this when it all comes burning down.” 🤣
Then Booker was like “I don’t know how anybody is gonna guard us”, but it never crossed his mind that they couldn’t guard anyone either. 🤦🏻♂️
Everyone thought the suns were gonna take it all? I certainly didn't...
And let's not forget Ishbia's comment "GMs of 26 of the other 29 teams would absolutely trade their rosters with ours" 😂😂😂😂
This proves exactly what I said when it was announced the suns were signing Bradley Beal they needed some defense, not more offense.
if your starters don’t know how to play defense why not try the bench . You got Bol Bol and t young Fran Vogel is just bad bad coach . 😂
Good on Beal for getting that sweetheart deal. That sure was a cushy clause to include in a contract; all but guarantees job security imo.

Suns with no assets plus all of the Draft picks were given away are going to be insanely bad. The franchise is at stake!!
I love that this is happening to the Suns. My hope is Rockets GM Rafael Stone is paying attention.
Book and Beal going down ringless
Kd and Book finna ask a trade at the deadline next season, I'm calling it.
wolves fan here, great video hope we prevail against the nuggets
I remember saying this wouldn't work and everyone gave me crap for it
OKC laughing at your take on Minnesota being the only challenge.
The best thing the Suns can do is see what kind of trade package they can get for Booker. If they can get 3-4 first round picks and maybe a good player or two, I say trade him away. Those picks would become their future. You would have thought that teams would have learned with the infamous KG/Pierce to the Nets trade, but clearly, some teams did not.
What makes the Suns a superteam and not the T Wolves?
Watching most of their games thru the season, I can tell you the main problems I saw (after everybody was healthy - mainly Beal from his early injury) was this team was hot and cold all damn season. The only two that were almost always consistent in scoring was KD and Booker. The rest of the team would be on fire for a game and then disappear for a couple games, sometimes a week. Need more consistency in their shooting accuracy. And then the damn turnovers were a problem as well. The other teams would get an 8 point lead and for the reasons I just listed, could not catch them. They'd sometimes tie or even take the lead only to be back down by 8 within a minute. Hot, cold, hot, cold. I would finally just turn the damn tv off I was so angry watching us miss over and over or turning it over and then the other team would make every thing they threw up. They were so bad sometimes at shooting that it seemed like the only practice they had before the current game was the shoot around before the game started.
You hitched your wagon to someone with absolutely no heart. Congraturations!
Why isn’t Kevin Durant getting the same hate Lebron would get for not winning with a superteam??
Because LeBalco is racist baiting complaining a**hole that thinks he is the goat and that's coming from a guy who doesn't like Durant
Look around bro lol
Uhh Durant gets plenty of hate from the internet
@@hurricanestarang yeah NOWWWW he’s getting it. He should’ve been getting it since the nets
@@soleynate yeah it took for them to get swept when he should’ve got this hate on the nets
All teams moving forward can learn from this. It's not super teams that win chips, its team with 2 superstars who compliment each other supported by a deep young well constructed supporting cast. I am a SUNs fan and I am sick to my stomach. We're cooked, and the only way out of this is if Bradley Beal is willing to be traded or if we trade KD for some first round picks and a some good role players. Cuz if we trade away Booker who IS STILL IN HIS PRIME, then it means the SUNs are blowing the team up!
Very very good video. I also said that the Suns have no chance with this roster, because of their lack of defense and bench depth. Only scoring is not enough. I played 3 on 3 since 30 years and when only one of my teammate was weak in defense, we lost every game. Maybe this is not comparable, but without a good defense you have no chance in the playoffs.
People like Mat Ishbia think, when they were successful in another business, they will be successful in sports too. But when you have no clue of this sports (or another), you just gambling and mostly loosing at the end.
I do recall push back on these pundits who said this team was a title contender. They said they don’t have a bench. Colin Cowherd said they don’t need a bench because this is a star’s league. Ooops!
Lol so funny man. Yeah I think Stephen A was hesistant. I just love that the common narrative was "it's Kevin Durant" and the cost didnt matter
I really liked the team they had before the Durant trade. If they were patient and build around that team they would have been better off.
If lakers and suns create a upset, this would be the craziest playoffs in history 😂
What world do you live in? Never going to happen.

A mansion that they could afford because the owner is rich but a mansion that they don’t need.
I'm betting in the timberwolves right now 🙌
Not everyone can be a bus driver
The suns breaking up their young core that made it to the finals is like GS breaking up the team just before they became a dynasty. Its just obviously moronic to throw away a team like that before you know how good they will be. But the NBA has a win now mentality where you arent allowed to build up for years. If you get 1 star in a draft, you have to morgage everything to bring in other stars to win now. Nobody thinks about the need for good young role players or team chemistry
Nope.. Wolves are golfing now
This is the modern-day Brooklyn Nets trade that basically ruin their franchise back in 2013 for a super team, suns just did the damn same imo
Not a suns fan obviously but I woulda told you they weren't doing it this year.
I heard the hype but there was no way they were making this stick. I mean you nailed how bad the contracts will be in the near future for them, but even as a fairly casual fan I thought the suns were absolute idiots for selling out on depth like a year ago. When you make it to the finals and let one slip like they did, you usually only get ONE more chance to make it stick . . . so when they blew it to the Mavs I was pretty sure it was over for them. Now I'm not a huge KD hater, but that trade just made me throw up all the red flags, because it guarantees your future is gonna be out of money. That year had to be THE year. That trade was their committment, and when it couldn't stick then I went from pretty sure to REALLY sure their window was done. Depth was already gone, future mortgaged, depth already cracking (and likely to get worse), and a rather old core.
I HATED the KD Trade
And.. a sweep.
Ready to comment after the Wolves just got done sweeping the Suns. Who knew not having a player at the most important position in the sport (Point Guard) wouldn't yield much success for a team?
I have a couple of NBA teams I would love to see win it all Timberwolves, thunder, Pacers,Knicks,Clippers and mavericks but one problem there can only be one to win 😂😂😂
Would of been great to see reactions of wolves trade for Rudy and the reactions in beginning back to back😂😂😂
Lmao go look at this video: “The Resurrection of Rudy Gobert” on my channel back in November. I clipped a ton of them for the intro. It’s hilarious lol
Whoever thinks that Bradley Beal is the missing piece should be blame for this mess. Last offseason, they should consider Jrue Holiday. They could trigger a 3-way trade with the Bucks and Blazers where Lillard goes to the Bucks and Ayton goes to Blazers. Maybe they could get Nurkic in that trade too. And then CP3 would have traded for depth.
I love being an Arizona sports fan 😀

Excluding “on court Durant” ,I low key blame the players too. I feel like they’re often low effort.
yeah there's no urgency it feels. or chemistry/heart to this team.
Great intro😂😂😂😂😂😂
Whichever team wins the Nuggets vs Wolves series will win the Finals.
When will these owners and Gm learn, you dont blow up your team for one player.
0:38 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
i was DYING in real time
I have to liken the Suns to the Bucks the past couple years...both made the 2021 finals and had a competitive series...both teams have tried to fix what wasn't really broken since...big trades, new coaches...just to go backwards. The Bucks were another top 3 seed again last year as it was under coach Bud the past 5 or 6 years. They get beat by a Heat team that has also made a couple finals the past few years and it's time to sell out, rather than admit that it's just really hard to go to the finals every single season
As soon as I seen that the suns lost a PG and traded for Beal I knew they were cooked.
The media seems to be of the belief that trading your future for aging superstars is low risk high reward decision.
Team building over anything else.
To be fair, Rudy was playing horribly when he first got to Minnesota which was making it look worse than what it would eventually turn out to be
100%. It took awhile for everyone to learn how to play with him. Plus he was dealing with back injuries all year and KAT was out for 60 games!
KD just can’t get it done without a cast of future Hall of Famers. He’s overrated.
The gotta trade KD and salvage what they can. Could get at least two first out of him (maybe more, slightly less). Then hope those picks hit and they’ll have another window with Booker. If not… we’ll I’ve heard KAT and Booker have always wanted to play together
A KAT for KD trade would be insane lol.
The irony is the wolves and the gobert trade was the one that was supposed to be the worst trade in nba history but yeah you wouldn't talk about this because that's the bigger story bro
I’m a Wolves fan. Nobody is happier about their recent success than me. They’ll get their video :)
Also Ive made two videos throughout the year on the wolves. Rudy Gobert and KAT.
It wasn't a great trade, but flipping D-Lo for Conley and getting NAW as a freebie plus picks like Leonard Miller does make up for it. Connelly been in the kitchen cooking since he got to MN
0:29 they'll double team your ass and you'll fold like a lawn chair
Booker is stat padder then chokes when needed. Idk but people keep saying he is the next Kobe.
I miss the twins.. and Payne too.
KD never gets held to a high standard 🤔 he just plays ball, cant win championships w/o ALL START TEAM 👀 and just be chilling.
Were they really a “super team”? 😅 Also, I still blame Skip Bayless for saying what he said when KD was traded to Phoenix. He jinxed KD 🤣
BLOW IT UP! TRADE ALL OF THEM TBH. Idk fuck it, kd to lakers. Bronnie Bron and KD. First round exit to Denver next year as well! LETS DO IT! 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Lmaoooo
With how incompetent LAL front office seems to be I honestly think this is possible 😂
When you get to the playoffs most of the teams have 2 star players. But so does the other team. Those players usually cancel each other out. It then comes down to 3-5 and bench players.
Prime example is Lakers vs Nuggets. The Nuggets 3-5 players are game for game better than the Lakers 3-5. The Lakers were swept last year and they ran it back this year. Same results.
This year look for D. Russell to be gone for sure and they will try to get bigger at center.
They need to just blow it up. Trade Durant and Booker and get lots of picks. I'm sure Beal will agree to a trade at that point.
Except that at $50M/season salary Suns are not going to find a trade partner.
If you have a 'Big 3' it would help if at least one of them had leadership potential.
To me, and so many others, this group of 3 was from the day of the Beal trade just a 'Big Overlap' on top of the leadership problem.
The most INEFFICIENT roster imaginable. And at _that_ price? So dumb.
I didnt mind the kd trade, the beal trade was the one thats gonna really gonna screw them
If I’m the GM I’m trading KD to the highest bidder for draft capital, unfortunately you stuck with Beal unless you can finesse
Why blame the ownership??? They put a decent roster with 3 “superstars”.
Pretty much like any sport, defense wins championships. KD and Booker both don’t have it.
Since it's not going good with the Suns, KD will probably want to go back to the thunder and join all those young guys.
Ive heard people saying KD should go back and LeBron should return to Cleveland. Would be fun lol
@@hardwood_yt I don’t see the thunder trading for KD. Lebron going back to Cleveland I could see that happening
I was rooting for the Suns in their finals run. I knew they'd be back.
Then they traded for KD, and i thought it might take a bit more..
Then they went to acquire Beal. I knew they were cooked, man.
The Suns are going back to irrelevance sooner in my lifetime than I thought they would. Honestly, it almost seems like the owner came in with sabotage as his goal. He just wanted to see how fast he run a team financially and competitively into the ground.
Twolves VS OKC in da Finals
stay in OKC and he's considered one of the greatest of all time tbh.
probably the worst trade in nba history
Super team? Bit of a stretch? Durant is clearly past his best days and Booker is hot and cold.
If it was lebron instead of Durant it would be universally, known as a superteam
point is, that is what everyone viewed them as. They are not that
