Me and my friends rented a car and we were driving near the old Lakers stadium. We were bumping Warren G song Super Soul Sis. The only thing that messed up the mood was a big poster hanging on the side of the stadium showing the Clippers. My first thought was hell no. I came from the other side of the world to see the Lakers. Wtf is the Clippers? You dont come to LA as a tourist to watch the Clippers🤣🤣🤣

Many people may not know or remember that the Clippers once had a playoff series drought of 30 years. They had a stretch where they went from 1976-2006 between winning playoff series and once had the longest all time playoff drought going between 1976-1992 which ironically enough Doc Rivers was on that ‘92 squad that made the playoffs. Go figure by the time the Clippers made a Western Conference Finals they had to do things the hard way without their best player in Kawhi Leonard. With the team moving into their own arena starting at the 2024-25 season, maybe they’ll find a way to break the curse. In addition, the Sacramento Kings do have a case on being the most cursed NBA team as well considering that while they have won a championship they’ve relocated a few times and their last championship was all the way back in 1951 as the Rochester Royals.

I'll gladly give my thought. Chris Paul is just a legacy of bad luck and unfortunate situations. But we can't deny that some of it was on him as I mentioned 2014 or you can even mention some years in HOU or PHX. But injuries have also derailed his chances to possibly get a ring. Kawhi I have some opinions on Kawhi that people aren't ready to talk about. We have see him dominate at a high level but we haven't seen him replicate his success in 2019. 2021 was the closest but he unfortunately tore his ACL. Kawhi is an amazing player but he has a lot of stuff that prevents him from being in the best in the world convos and all time rankings.

There are some pro sport owners who look at their team is a business pursuit. Not Ballmer, he's in it to win it. He will move mountains, make painful trades and he is ready to spend any amount money. He's even building the state of the art basketball stadium, the Intuit Dome, that is designed to be the noisiest stadium on the NBA. Be assured that one day the Clippers will be the champs. Chris Paul is just a legacy of bad luck and unfortunate situations. But we can't deny that some of it was on him as I mentioned 2014 or you can even mention some years in HOU or PHX. But injuries have also derailed his chances to possibly get a ring.
Kawhi I have some opinions on Kawhi that people aren't ready to talk about. We have see him dominate at a high level but we haven't seen him replicate his success in 2019. 2021 was the closest but he unfortunately tore his ACL. Kawhi is an amazing player but he has a lot of stuff that prevents him from being in the best in the world convos and all time rankings.

By watching this video, it only re-enforces some of the perceptions I had of them, that they were just mediocre and to me was always like a permanent lottery team and just one of the forever expansion team.
