We all seem to talk about wrist circumference, really we should be measuring wrist width. I have a 6 7/8 wrist circumference but a 60mm wrist width. When talking strap length, sure on circumference but when talking lug to lug, it’s the width that’s important.
I don't really care much for most 62mas homages or new Seiko reissues. But for some reason, this one really grabs me. The size, the curve of the lugs, the brushing and polishing all seem exceptionally well executed. I might pick this one up in the next sale, and I'm not even in the market for a diver.
Got mine today - and it's worth EVERY penny. Fitted perfectly with minimum fuss. 👍 I have a Seiko SPB317 but also wanted an SPB143. I've easily saved myself almost £1000.
I have this exact watch and it is fantastic. I have quite a few other watches that cost multiples of the price of this one, but I find myself wearing my SAN Martin most of the time. If they keep making watches of this quality at these prices, well I think the Swiss and Japanese are really going to have to step up their game. Gone are the days of having to mortgage your kidney to get a great timepiece.
Just received mine a few days ago... Only 2 things would make this one perfect..... Drilled lugs and whiter lume.... Compared it to my SLA043, and it is remarkably close....
Indeed a very nice 62 mas by San Martin. Hello my dear friend with the best watch review channel that undoubtedly I appreciate so much. The over 50 mm lug to lug is a bit to much the thickness at 13.2 I honestly feel that would be a better at 12.8 and yes a preferred case sides from polished sides of the case to a horizontal brushing as we all know well that San Martin can and does delivers.. Thank you my dear friend for your work and presentations of quality reviews. I do have said San Martin on the rubber black strap and does wear comfortable I also have a green and one red dial 62 mas by Seestern and they are doing a fine job in their high quality applications and designs. Wishing you and all loyal listeners - viewers of your channel an excellent Sunday. Rick in Florida USA !

I have a Cadisen homage of the 62MAS, far cheaper than the San Martin, about $55USD. Yes the finishing isn’t quite as good, but still has an NH35 movement. I chose it on the rubber strap which is excellent by the way. 38mm case fits my 7.5 inch wrist perfectly. I’m loving smaller divers lately, but can comfortably pull off the full size 44mm Casio Duro as well.
Thanks for sharing! I did a review of Cadsen 62Mas - nice watch and good price! Here is the link; th-cam.com/video/N3svVjjmA_Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LIxG77sFtLsYYvBi
In 2021 I bought the V4. I was kinda disappointed because the shortcomings was exactly the changes that was made here. Hilariously the new model is too similar to mine to pick this up, even though I really want to.

Agreed. 🙂
I've been thinking this for a long time! No one ever seems to mention it.
That's what she said..!

That bracelet integration, nice clasp and dome on the sapphire could be what gets me in and ive been resisting divers as best I can.
Stunning piece and a great review as always
Thank you kindly! 🙂

Please compare it with the Cadisen. Thank you.
Is it me or are some homage watches better than the originals?
How does it compare to the Seestern 38mm ?!
Hi,
Is the Bracelet Sharp edged?
it pulls arm hair?
BTW Great Video! 🙂

I picked one up from Watchdives pre owned for $149. Mine had the screw link bracelet and honestly it's probably my favorite watch overall
good i want know dial size
is it too big for my 6inch wrist?
Not so much dial still 31-32mm. Looks like a dinner plate still..
Pin and collar? shame shame ! San Martin.
