Leslie, not just a big "thank you!" once again for all these great clips from Carlisle Citadel and its surroundings, but for those two wonderful Cumbrian resp. North Lancashire Railway Albums too, highly recommended to any North West rail buff! In case you can't buy them any longer, beg, borrow or steal them! Best, Joerg
Great variation there, Leslie. Hellifield once an imposing station and junction looks a shadow of its former self. I know they dont use all the platform length nowadays but those weeds need removing.
Amazing mix today, Leslie. Loving the Azuma, of course, and the classic shots and the end... what a place to capture a steamer and its grand scenery! Epic shooting there, Leslie!
Nice video leslie very good camera work as usual as always keep it up great sound from Sierra Leone also have you seen tomorrow's tours through carlisle best wishes Philip xx
Jubilee thrash! You weren't kidding, great stuff.

I like the milk churn touch Les.
Me too. I thought it brought a sense of charm to the station.

Les how is it trans pennine trains only consist of 5 coaches no wonder there's loads of people not able to get a seat 😮
On these trains to Glasgow and Edinburgh there are often many empty seats. Remember north of Preston Avanti serve both destinations.
@@LeslieGilpinRailways thanks les
The LNER Azuma will be doing route refreshing for the upcoming Tyne Valley diverts, think its 4 weekends worth this year
Indeed they will. I'm surprised Craigentinny drivers were getting their refreshers in before the Newcastle drivers.
I see you met Station Master Benji at Hellifield
Lol - not for the first time - he was outside on the cool side of the station well out of the sun!
