I work in retail. I'm surrounded by people all day and I still relate to the social anxiety. Anytime the store gets really busy and filled with people I start to freak out and get really irritable. Some days it's all I can do just to make through a full shift. Thank you so much for talking about these struggles, it helps to know I'm not the only one
Friends are a great way that i subside the anxiety with going out. I minimize alcohol when im out to not act differently than i usually would and stay close to them until im comfortable being by myself in that area. Keep being you and youll be the best you that you can be. Doms changed and love yall lol
So relatable to me. I don't know how many times I've shown up somewhere that was just busy and said yeah never mind. Then other times made myself go in and I know that anyone that looked at me knew I would rather die than be standing there but
social anxiety is such a complicated struggle. some mornings it’s difficult to even get out of bed to face people, which is so weird because i’m a rather social person as well. the bit about being proud of improving yourself daily is something i always try to keep in mind. even the small things matter
