Glad you're loving the bike, friend! The Accord build is coming out SICK! Keep it up!
Syncing the tack welds to the music was a legit touch, dude.
Always gotta do it
FINALLYYY, vibrant is onboard, i´ve been waiting for them to step up since your rally-miata build, i already expected them to pop out on the eclipse build but better late than never, this makes me happy, props man 🙌
Thanks homie! I'm definitely excited!
@@_Gingium_ j series accords are fun i picked mine up almost a year ago now for $900 and it came supercharged with a 40lb shot of nitrous i used it as my drag car for the past couple of months and now I just pulled the motor out of it this morning to put it in my dune buggy
58 year old life long cyclist with multiple bike types. When I first started following your site, you were young and just started working on Molly in parents garage. I rode one of my mtb more than anything. But I was slightly interested in buying a Miata. I slowly changed to riding my road bikes again and then bought my Miata. Still love bikes and ride, but my Miata and car content is the thing I pay more attention to these days. Glad your mixing my old love in with new which you help push me into.
I love that a ginger kid on yt got you into miata's.
@@StanleyKubick1 along with Miata Dad aka Greg and Quinn from Slip Angle. Course Miata Dad is only one dropping pure Miata content.
The mountain bike content is fun, I like it at the end of the video
Yeah I think it's cool and something different. Keep it at the end, those who don't want to watch it can just stop the video there, it doesn't take away from the car content.
AND meaby start a bike Chanel too
The mountain bike segment isn't something i ever thought I'd find myself watching, but you definitely did a great job explaining and keeping it entertaining. Idk if I'd go out of my way to watch full videos of it, but at the end of a build video is a great idea and I'll definitely stick around for it if you decide to do more!
Perfect! That was exactly my goal!
Well done! Several very smart choices. The Turbo bracket so you don’t crack pipes. The wastegate feed coming in with the direction of airflow so it doesn’t boost creep. And the flex pipe for movement. Well thought out Gingium 🎉
Holy crap dude HUGE congrats on the Vibrant sponsor! They make some top notch stuff! I fully expect an overuse of their HD clamps soon! 😅❤ Hopefully using their stuff for my EP3 turbo build this winter
Edit: I spent a couple grand on a mountain bike last year and still haven’t gotten around to riding it much 😅 thanks for the reminder
It be like that just find a spot you like and you'll go
take it out in the fall. autumn trail rides can be so fun. a little mud and yellow leaves is always a vibe. I used to always go to the trails alone, but quickly found a couple of bros my age who were also solo, and now we go together once or twice a month during the season
Damn bruh had us waiting forever 😂😂 I need more of the honda
Haha sorry about that
Facts
he has a life bruh, and he isn’t obligated to make any of this for us so be thankful
@@_Gingium_you’re forgiven lol
@@parkerbethkedude chill it’s jokes
Dude you have made so much progress improving on the bike since last time you filmed yourself riding. Also I have to add that in my opinion, dirt bikes are the cheapest way to feel like a racing driver lol.
And not super difficult to transport or work on either!
@@cgiunta630 yep and he would have a ton of fun modifying it since the aftermarket is massive.
The best part of my Sunday is always watching Gingium 😎
Edit: The mountain biking segment was more entertaining than I expected! Wouldn't mind watching some more of these at the end of the auto build videos.
13:19 "Oh and now she comes, beautiful." Not even a second later, "Oh wait, did I speak too soon?" My brother from another mother 😂
real
Dig the MTB content. Come out to SLC and ride Wasatch Crest. One of the most iconic rides in the country.
That car needs awd asap !!! Would love to see it happen and i think its a great challenge for you !!!
You can tap into the presssure sensor off of the oil pump BEHIND the vtec solenoid. That's what I did. Saves you the hassle of the oil filter adapter, and not finding the right thread pitch. If you have any other questions, let me know and I can help you out.
P.S That green connector is for vtec, if you tapped into that your vtec would go out of whack. (Ask me how I know aha)
Oh interesting! Welp, this works now
That’s where mine was on my K24 as well but I changed to a sandwhich plate because I had a wild setup of adaptors to fit three plugs back there
@@_Gingium_ Agreed, the kit looks amazing though! Good work. I don't know if you saw my previous post, but make sure to be gentle with her. I blew my first j30 up with the stock rings colliding and blowing the ringland apart. I was only on 7 pounds of boost aswell.
Beautifully done 😎
Man I remember when you couldn’t or could hardly install a turbo kit, now you’re building most things yourself. 💪🏻
Man, I had a 2001 Accord (CG1) sedan that had a J30A1 amd an auto. The auto trans lost reverse, so I yanked the entire swap, put in a JDM J32A (260 HP), a 2003 Acura CL Type-S close ratio LSD six speed manual, an Exedy clutch and flywheel, installed custom made ARP head studs, MLS Cometic head gaskets, Injector Nation 1000cc injectors, an AEM 340 LPH fuel pump, a set of cheap eBay headers, and I fabricated a collector pipe with a T3 flange, installed a Garrett GTS3582 dual ball bearing turbo with a billet compressor wheel, a full 3" stainless downpipe to an Invidia single in/dual muffler exhaust, an AEM Series II 30-6051 standalone ECU, and my buddy street tuned it on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It made 502 whp at 10 psi. I LOVED that car. It would spin both front tires in 3rd gear when it hit full boost (225/40/17s). Also, P2R saved my ass MANY times with their awesome J series products. I bought my injectors, my custom made ARP head studs, my Holley intake manifold with a Skunk2 90mm throttle body, and quite a few more parts from them.
Pretty sure you just fabricated the best turbo set up for this car, won't be surprised if many others start copying this
Congrats on the sponser!
Pro tip for that style of wastegate. Put loctite on it. We have aeen them back off over time and then boom pops apart.
Heck even happened to kyle from boostedbois on the mr2
That exhaust is a piece of art ❤👍🏻
Thank you 😊
Been watching for years, just got a welder for free and I have a mini truck to play with. Seeing where you started to now is amazing dude. Keep it up definitely motivating to see you continue to grow and learn.
You could actually legit sell that exhaust piping as like a proper turbo kit, it's quality is literally on par with PRL/RV6
Literally Sunday (the day this video was posted) my buddy and I tore the intake manifold and valve covers off of his 08 Accord with a J35Z3 (6mt) to inspect the valve train and do a comp test after he ran into issues on the way back from a longish road trip. Cyl 2 came back at 60psi. I told him it's time to do a motor rebuild and turbo kit. Then this video comes out the same day? It's a sign. 👌
Just changed the clutch and flywheel today in my '13 civic si after the clutch splines sheered off, you helped me love cars, thanks for being here and doing all this work for all this time!
You deserve way more views!
its cause hes claiming he has a underrated vehicle when he dosent, hes literally driving the MK4 supra of accords and claiming its "not what everyone says it is" when the whole Accord community calls the 6-6 accord (v6, 6sp manual) good, though the gearbox is slushy even with manual, if he had a 90s Accord he would be right in the 'underrated' category, and thats why i dont watch these

Love the mountain bike content. I got into mountain biking like 12 or 14 years ago when I was between project cars. It really does cover/satisfy all the aspects of being a car enthusiast when you don't have a project to work on. But just know, it can still be expensive.
I don’t know what’s more sick, the editing & presentation or the fully custom turbo fabrication🤯 hats off my dude👏
Clean fabrication. Sick bike!! That trail looks fun
Yeah it’s pretty decent!
Damn, my two favorite current car builds on youtube dropped vids today. (Smeedia and Gingium). Hell yeah!
Nice MTB trail! Looked really fun!
Good angle on the camera for catching the excitement of the ride.
21:40 Shoutouts to the company that fulfilled with great service, and bro just buys normally, that’s how you form a positive relationship right there
Wow man, it's such a pleasure warching you work on cars, the video is very well edited and your fab skills are up there. Congrats!! Cheers from Argentina 🇦🇷
Dude love the mtn segment to close things out, the analogies to car stuff really hits imo. I’m not a mountain biker or anything but I’ve watched plenty of crazy reels and that was a fun watch 🤙
Keep up on all the content man, cars and bikes. Youre explanations and joy for it are worth the watch 🙌
Love the MB section at the end. Makes me want to get the bike out and get back in the woods. Keep up the great work, buddy!
Hey Caleb, glad to see more mtb content again. I’ve been watching you since FM7 built or bought, lol. I also have been a bike mechanic in 6 different shops during high school/ college, so if you have any questions or need and recommendations on parts, repair tips, etc let me know.
Love the incorporation of mountain biking!!! It really is a smooth transition from a car enthusiast. Would love to see more!!
That pre turbo flex might not survive long term. Consider just eliminating it or doing double slip joint.
Awesome work otherwise. Thanks for the great videos!
man, all the work and fabrication that had to be put into that kit is crazy. your skills are underrated dude. ive been thinking about slapping a turbo on my sentra se-r spec v but this video made me scared to do it because of all that work 😭😭. good luck with the build bro
Wish i had a friend like this that just truly enjoyed this kind of thing. Id love to help and gain knowledge and gain skills along the way.
you know its a good day when gingium uploads
dude I love this mountain bike era of Gingium, you definitely seem much happier and I'm enjoying the content. Don't stop!
Love the mtb content, I'm a mountain biker and car enthusiast too. If I could offer any advice it would be, maybe look into a longer dropper post so you can get the saddle a bit lower. That will feel much better for jumps and downhill sections. I note that the seat tube is rather short before it bends so you may be limited on how long you can go with the dropper post. Cheers dude!
Love the accord content, and was stoked to see some biking content also! As a fellow car enthusiast and mtn bikes enthusiast, keep it up on both! Shift and shred 🤘😎
I enjoyed the MTB section. A nice cherry on the cake.
I have a 2005 6mt maxima with a HR swap. I wish adding a turbo was as easy as you make it look!
All car enthusiasts will mod everything they touch, bikes being one of those things lol
18:40 i know you are just using components that vibrant supplied, but you can buy oval stainless exhaust pipe. Maybe later you could replace that small section with a piece of oval pipe for more clearance.
Not putting a 2nd v band on the down pipe is a big mistake. You were right there & could have made it easy...
Really cool to see this whole process and you used my fave kinda music!! Good stuff all around!! This is one of my fave engines!
i enjoy the mountain bike segment at the end, it makes a nice round off to the vid ! :)
I love the content, not sure if you're aware but that tailpipe expander kit you got works with the hydraulic knockout kit.
Then you won't have to use an impact to expand the pipe. I've stretched 2.5 16ga ss to fit the I.D. of a 3inch header collector on a friend's ls swap we did.
You'll wish you put the two tools together sooner.
Just had another thought. Have you ever looked into stainless steel "donuts" they are very tight radius and can be cut up however you want. I keep 1 or 2 around for random projects to help eliminate additional time doing pie cuts.
Turbo kit fabrication turned out beautiful more than worth the wait lol
I had an eBay turbo on my civic and it whistled like crazy, sounded like a diesel.
That’s what I want 😭
Have the same car man love the build series. Always nice seeing someone do a dream build with a ton of sponsors🙏🏼
its impressive how much of this you do by yourself.
This is an awesome project! If I may suggest the best tool for cutting metal pipes so insanely straight, you won't even need filler wire. Wen 5" horizontal bandsaw. It's so straight, I've cut an entire weld bead in half. You can also get perfect angles, and holds much better than a chop saw.
GingiumMTB trail riding.
Hey, in a pinch you can use solar flux instead of back purging. I used it in my turbo kit and it shielded the backside of the welds really well. Just have some cleanup afterwards because there’s loose flux inside the pipe.
I thought it was weird but thank God I kept watching and you explained it perfectly. I actually like that!
Did it suck in a leaf at 29:52 ?
Yes
Yes it did. Woopsie...
It blew it away
I can say mountain biking is very fun, specially as someone who enjoys car or chases the adrenaline you get from speed and risking your body, mountain biking is a great way to get this same high. Wanting to get some suction bike mounts to mount mine on my Camaro. Would look dope for sure pulling up to the trails
I'm here for more bike content! It's all relative, 2 and 4 wheels is where it's at
I am happy you take your time to create quality content for us rather than compromising just to push something out it is noticed and appreciated keep up the good work
Well thought out clean fab work with vibrant now on board, peak times. Also the biking content is pretty sick!
Look up "removing metal from eyes" .. after that you'll always wear glasses when under your car.
Amazing videos as usual ❤
Brother you are just an artist now. Been watching you for years. Good job.
Mountain biking content is great
I don’t mtn bike but I enjoyed the content at the end. Looked like fun. I appreciate learning about new things.
Love watching your videos man, stands out all cause it’s mainly just you and pure fabrication. You’re awesome man, keep up the Good work !
whether it's car, fabrication, or mountain bike, i'm all for it man 🍻
😮 those welds are looking good.
Is it the best idea to add flex pipe on hot side? If it comes apart it will hurt your turbo! Awesome build. Very talented my guy.
Wow Gingium! I can’t believe how far you have come. Keep it up. Can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!
oh dude what a great collab, i can only imagine the things you’ll make happen going forward
Awesome turbo kit and epic mountain biking. I'm all for this type of content
Really nice video ! I loved the music choice too
Loving this build!! The bike stuff was cool too, been wanting to look into biking also
I wish I could go mountain biking, but not only does my city not have any real challenging terrain in a reasonable distance, but my health isn't good enough to be able to handle the very high momentary cardio demand, so instead to stay in shape I do low-ish intensity endurance, I've ridden for 2 and a half hours and passed by 5 different city/township welcome signs, burned at least 900 calories in that time. If I had good enough health to handle high intensity without the risk of my blood pressure taking a sudden dive from going into rapid half-beats, I would take my road cruiser 21 speed to the gnarliest trails my city has to offer (basically beginner level where you are lol) and go ballistic, but alas though I may be able to go the distance, I ain't getting there very quickly at all XD
Funny thing about my health, I believe this was accidentally self-inflicted permanent damage rather than genetics, my family has strong hearts until the late middle age decay starts setting in, what happened was in college I went ham on a cardio machine and didn't realize my bpm reached a maximum of 218 (see I still remember since the aftermath was memorable). I was left wiped out for several days, and the next time I tried hard cardio a week or two after was the first time I ever had a sudden blood pressure sag like I now get, my bpm comes down from a strong 150 to 160 and once it reaches around 110, if I went too hard earlier, my blood pressure falls and my bpm surges up to 180 or 190 bpm in under a second, and each beat is weak, I usually lay down and elevate my legs for 30 seconds or so when it does that, and my bpm within seconds of elevating my legs plummets from 180 weak dodododos per minute to like 90 healthy thump-thumps per minute. I'm left tired, but 30 minutes or so of lazy resting and I'm ready for another round of cardio. Its strange, but the problem has been improving ever since I upped the amount of meat in my diet and stopped having breakfast.
Love the mountain bike content too. I just crashed on mine today riding for the first time in like 10 years! Got my new one from bikes online coming in on Tuesday
Really great job! You have come soon far from when you started.
43 minute video???? Dude you just made my day
as a J35 owner, i'm beyond hyped to see some amazing J series content
Que grande pela!!. Dos hermosas pasiones en un mismo video
amazing work! best accord on earth? probably
Mtb saved my life! Glad to see you enjoy it this much! keep going ;)
Amazing work that system looks really cool imo
Loving the longer videos. Its always a tease when you start getting to the good part and i gotta wait.
That low hanging down pipe does worry me a bit considering you enjlowthe car a bit low. But i still enjoy all the honda love
damn that trail looked fun af! Honda sounds mean af too bro!👍👍✌
👍to the bikes. There's other bike vids out there, but your commentary is engaging, esp. the motorhead analogies. If anyone's not into it, they can stop watching.
Hondas 3.0 and the 3.5 honestly were the best motors v6 wise they ever built I had the 3.5 in a 2nd gen pilot and got that thing to 350 all wheel horsepower without a tirbo
Hell yeah brother! Mountain bikes rock, such a shame I wrecked myself on a downhill trail and I lost all the confidence...
man if you can find a way to get it to hook those boosted J's torque is crazy. And decent on gas! SIGN ME UP!
using vibrant performance parts on my civic si's exhuast and upcoming on my g37, their products are AMAZING and sound phenomenal
Wow that exhaust looks amazing
Gingium deserves such love❤
Always so in awe at the amount of skill you have. I wish i was even at 5% of what you can do to work on my daily...
just don't stop doing it, I was in the same spot a few years ago and I'm finishing my swap now
You need to try motocross, my YZ125 is my favorite vehicle to work on, it is designed to be rebuilt in as few steps as possible. And it rips, if you like mountain biking and you like cars, you would love motocross.
I'm enjoying the bike content in addition to the car content. IMO keep it coming!
That's once more an great job from you! What's the next step after sorting everything around the turbo? What about putting an all wheel drive system for transferring all the power evenly as possible, and get better handling at the same time?
