We all win. Because we get to watch it. Thanks Tony. Absolutely wanted a powercrout before you built it. Now I want one even more. Hell I saw a 944 v8 swap on marketplace in ithica new York last week.....
This is so cool for a couple reasons. 1 is that Hoovie had a porsche like this with a v8 and it was also HIS favorite car. Seems to be a great combo. The second reason is Jay Lenno on his garage channel has many videos where he talks about the old days of combining European body and suspension with American power since both were better at that part respectively. It's cool to see that 50 years later after those cars Lenno was talking about, the same rule still works. I would love to see it with a turbo or supercharger or maybe aluminum block.

My favorite car channel comes through again. Kudos to the Stay Tuned team for this PowerKraut build. Tony has such great friends. Kudos to Blake, too: a lot of guys who own premium automobiles would be reluctant to race them in this situation. It was very cool to see both vehicles perform in competition. Will PowerKraut get ABS brakes in the near future?

Hey Tony, That was awesome to watch!!!! I have dreams of a V8 in my anemic TR7 in the future. This build shows it can be done on a (sort of) budget. The TR7 was meant to be a true sports car that was left in the wind by quality control, emission regs, and a real lack of vision. I want to make my car what it could have been. Now, off to find a wallet friendly V8. Thanks for putting out another great episode.
Power Crout is legit my favorite car y'all have made. If you ever wanna sell her. Let me know 😆 was funny when you took him for a ride, he cracked a big ass smile. He definitely liked it.
So, a Cayman S with an IMS failure would be interesting now that you've solved the rear engine Porsche problem. Mid engine would be a pretty epic build. I've seen rollers go for way under ten in the FB groups...

I’d love the LS 911 setup and the Gt3 comparison however I’m not sure that you gave yours the best shot at handling because of sway at pre load. Adjustable sway bar endlinks are pretty much necessary with a coil over set up unless maintaining stock ride height. Cross weights were awesome out of the box so you may have gotten lucky and there was no weight in the drivers seat. I know I’m a nerd but technically the sway bar links should be disconnected while corner weighting, a half tank of gas, and the driver (or equivalent weight) should be in the driver’s seat. Once all of the corners are where you want them and with the driver seated, adjust the sway bar end links so that the attachment bolts slide in and out of the heim joints easily. If you have to force the attachment bolt in then you will have pre-load. Just sayin’ 😂 Keep up the great work. You guys are fun to watch!

What a wicked little car. On that short course that extra torque really shows. That GT3 sounded like like it wasn't rev'd up much, I feel like once Blake was more comfortable and kept the revs up it'd do much better. Very cool though, glad he was willing to come play
This is the true definition of hot rodding. Being faster than the car in the next price bracket without spending more on the build than the car in the next price bracket 😂 And I’m a 996 guy too. I’ve loved this build.

Love the music and the videos Tony, keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!
I love how well Tony can just get in and drive any car well first try. Such a cool video.
The one everyone needs to know is that Tony can freaking drive !!! He isn’t some run of the mill driver he is a freaking legend so give the man his due 💪💯✌️🇺🇸
Eat It Basically, I was rolling with you on that one. Awesome car and still one of my favorite automotive channels.
This is just such a cool modified car. I love the way it sounds ripping down the road!!
That was an awesome episode guys!! Thank you!! 💪
What a wicked little car. On that short course that extra torque really shows. That GT3 sounded like like it wasn't rev'd up much, I feel like once Blake was more comfortable and kept the revs up it'd do much better. Very cool though, glad he was willing to come play
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL !! Love the show !
I love this kind of conversion I’m glad that you guys did this comparison !!!
This is the true definition of hot rodding. Being faster than the car in the next price bracket without spending more on the build than the car in the next price bracket 😂
And I’m a 996 guy too. I’ve loved this build.
Thank the lawdy for Tony and his crew for going out on y’all’s own !!! The bob the builder show of obtainable awesome rides !!! Absolutely fantastic!!!
Thanks for watching!
Seriously impressive video and competition. I appreciate the attention to detail with the modification too. That was fun!
Thank you very much!
@@StayTunedTA Excellent content, keep it up!
What an awesome human being Blake is! Takes his crazy, never sold in the US, 996 GT3 and beats on it for us 👍.
.
Definitely isn't a Porsche weenie 💪
Barbs response to the sketch hole saw: "Proud of ya.."
Barbs responses are GOLD. 😂😂
Dude!!! Your channel is insane. And i mean that in a good way. I will admit i skipped through some.
Wanted to get to the results. To be able to drop the hammer on your self built 911. Proves you did a good job.
Thanks! Appreciate it, we've been working hard on these and it's been a killer year.
The Powercraut definitely is a fun a capable machine. Once the brakes will get sorted, maybe some racing seats, it will be even more fun to drive.
This was a great episode and it was nice to see a comparison against a clean GT3. Great job guys and very cool from Blake to take his Porsche for a bit of a matchup.
Enjoying watching. Can't get over how much you sound like Russell Peters, one of my favourite comedians.
