- It's the 18th September and we head off to Wiltshire for a 3 day adventure.
First of all we went to the abandoned village of Hartley Mauditt to see St Leonard's Church and have a walk there before venturing next to the mystical Avebury.
We then headed off to Devizes where we visited Caen Hill Locks, which are a flight of 29 locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal, between Rowde and Devizes in Wiltshire.
We then made our way to Westbury where we stayed for two nights to visit my niece, Kim.
We spent a beautifully sunny day in Bradford on Avon, we had lunch, went to a dog café for treats for Ky, enjoyed walking the canal and visiting the Tithe Barn there.
On our way home we stopped at Durleigh Farm shop where we had a cappuccino and a wander around the Emporium before heading home feeling happy and refreshed.

You visited a lot of interesting places this trip. Nice to share it all and lovely meeting up with Kim.
Oh yes we did Janice, and all enjoyable. Spending the day at Bradford on Avon was a great decision, we really enjoyed it and there is so much to see there. The architecture is stunning. Thanks for watching cuz 🥰

Wonderful video of your visit to Wiltshire. I knew. Most of the places, but not the farm emporium, or the sunken track under the old bridge near the end. It was a shame we couldn't have met up somewhere, but had a feeling that would happen.
Thank you Lionel and Mary, we had a really lovely time. I'm not surprised you didn't recognise the Farm Shop and Emporium because it's nearer our way (we went on our way home as when we passed Ludgershall it was pouring with rain so we didn't stop at the Farm Shop Café you mentioned this time). It's location is near Petersfield on the A272. Yes, was a shame. I hope you had a nice holiday 🥰 will there be a video?
@lynnb_and_ky_springer_spaniel Oh yes. I began working on the first film today. After that, there should be a couple more.
That cafe at Weyhill is only a butcher. There are no vegetables there. I remember it was before Waggys took over part of the area.
A better place to have met would have been at Quarley where we were today. But that's only alternate Sundays
@@lionelmarytravels6003 It was the coffee shop Waggy's that you mentioned before to have coffee Lionel. It looked quite nice from the photos I saw of it online and they are very dog friendly, I wasn't interested in getting any vegetables. I shall look forward to seeing your videos 🥰
