Woah! You got big way faster than I did lol. That 1K is incoming rapidly! Congrats! This is a cool idea. I had a notepad document I used to store mechs I liked lol. This is probably more efficient.
If you're interested in well intentioned critism, I've watched you both, and a major part of why I like trailblazer more, is I feel he includes a lot more substantial reasonings behind his choices, I feel like some of your content is too emotionally driven.
@@TheManyVoicesVA I'd need to go back and re watch it, but the one that struck me as the most biased was your video about competitive balance in relation to the MRB tournaments, I'll likely rewatch it later anyways as it had some good ideas I plan to likely incorporate into a tournament format were working on where I live, but I remember disliking some of yhe takes in that video for how emotionally charged the reasoning as given felt
Hey Trailblazer, are you normally playing on the MRC Discord server? I've been playing with a few ideas lately of coming back to making BT content every so often and could use another creator to play against/bounce ideas off of.
@@TrailblazerBT Cool! I'll have to remake an account but I'll head over there in a week or so. I've had a bit of spare time to make a few videos so need to start brushing up on the game again.
@@nerdyOveranalyzed it would be awesome to have you over at the MRC. Uhhh, don't mind all the burnt and broken bits of Kuritan equipment. Us and the Smoke Jaguars are having a dust up at the moment and it's not pretty.
I'm glad you found something that works for you. after 40 years of playing Battletech, I've never used CV, BV or BV2. since I'm not a competitive player, the points systems are completely useless. especially for my campaign play that fields a battalion strength combined arms force. good luck
@TrailblazerBT I find it interesting how many players use house rules for different aspects of the game. additionally, how many use similar ways to help 'speed up' the game. it's the one thing I would like to see CGL publish. a book of common house rules - completely optional, of course. and not for use in tournaments. but definitely would be a valuable asset to the game.
@@workshoptelescope The online MUL does include faction access but this way you can save your favorite units with that info. Or did you mean the MM MUL files?

@@TheManyVoicesVAThanks dude! I think it's a growth period for BT TH-cam with the KS shipping, I struck while the iron was pretty hot
I like this list method a lot. Definitely is better than my "reference back and forth between MUL and Megamek 1000 times to determine my list"
A classic that I've definitely done multiple times now.
Appreciate sharing the unit list. Thanks! ~Pirate
These videos are super helpful!!!

Why doesn’t the MUL already handle the faction access data already?!!

Acts casual in having 9 forces and close to 800 units . I could use this
