So wonderful Harry and Marion your back.We just love Ireland 🇮🇪 and watching you on the water we will watch on later. So so happy 😁 love to you both glad to hear your out and about now best regards.🌈🌈🇮🇪🇮🇪☮️☮️☮️💯⚓️⚓️🚢🚢⛴⛴🛶🛳🛳🛳⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
Delighted to see you both back hale and hearty. It was fierce quiet without ye, I was beginning to think old Neptune had stolen your propellers. Harry you look fierce windswept and nautical in the white shirt and Marion makes a great drink's assistant. Great to see the Royal Canal back as a navigable waterway. The Irish waterways are the true arteries of the countryside, peaceful and a hidden beauty that can only be seen from a boat. Thanks for showing us all the places most of us cant get to. Bring on the next vlog.🛥
Fantastic stuff, great to see you both and driftwood again, and just in time too to upload as I'm back on the river for 2 weeks from today, so plenty of boating vids being watched when I should be asleep to get me back in the mindset.
Harry / Marion - What a joy to see you back documenting your adventures - My childhood was spent boating on the Shannon and your videos remind me of all the fun and adventures we had - How the waterway has changed over the years - Keep them coming - Bravo!!!
Great to see you both back on the boat and looking well. The Royal is on my bucket list ... i wasn't prepared for what appears such a low air-draft or is that an illusion - a couple of those bridges looked very cozy. And the weather - just beautiful. Can't wait to see Part 2 and the Fleadh.
Great video was really glad to see it pop into my Subscriptions! Your production quality has shot up too, not that I was complaining before but this time out your audio was crisp the whole way through, your cutaways to drone shots and continuation of the narration above, and the story about the Royal Canal building was great! Can't wait for the next one!
Great to see you guys back! We were hoping to bump into you both again on our trip to the Shannon in July. We did do for a wee jaunt up the first bit of the Royal canal in the tender when we were in Richmond.... Made me wonder if Adventurer would fit up there, I'd worry we are too big.
I do not know how I did not get notified of these vlogs. Follow several channels but yours is my favourite. Lovely couple, really enjoy the factual information. We intend to visit Ireland in 23, not sure if I can get my Christine onto a boat lol. But I intend to visit the Shannon area. It's Christmas eve as I watch this, merry Christmas, and in the words of Dave Allen, may your god go with you. Best wishes to you both.
Thanks Patrick, hope you'll enjoy your visit in 23. You might be able to persuade Christine to go on one of the many tour boats on the river. Thanks for watching 👍 H&M
Great video of your adventure. Was starting to think you were done with the vlogs. Hired a boat from Belturbet mid August. Ventured to Carrick on Shannon and got to Acres lake and Lough Key on the way. Nearly bumped into you guys in Carrick but we went to the shops and you were gone when we got back. Always enjoy you vids, keep her lit Harry and Marion.
Glad to see you both back at it again! I have always wanted to travel the canal from my native Dublin up to the Shannon! Do you know whether that's a possibility?
Not only is it possible but you have the choice of two canals connecting Dublin to the Shannon, the Royal and the Grand. Both are navigable with caution.
Ah now there's the thing, see our draft is over a meter, but that's the keel, and our props are very well protected. Hope you'll get the opportunity to do the trip🤞
Hi I've just recently come across ure channel, I'm looking to purchase a 2nd cruiser, just wondering if ye could point me in the right direction and any tips on buying a used boat would be greatly appreciated.....cheers
Hi John, glad you're enjoying the channel (just put a new video out today). Take a look at apolloduck.ie and I's advise that you look at as many boats in your budget as you can to get an idea of what you'll get for your money. I wouldn't buy without getting a survey done (very important!). Best of luck and looking forward to seeing you on the water. H&M
Thank's for sharing.... chears from Portugal

Thanks Simon

Thanks Gerry, no it's no illusion🥴 The max air draft is 3mtrs (and that's also our air draft!)
Great video as always. Delighted to have finally met you in Carrick a few weeks ago. Looking forward to part 2
Thanks Colin, and we hope to have the 2nd part out shortly 😉
Lovely work, Harry and Marian. Great to see a new adventure and get a taste of what boating on the Royal Canal might be like.
Thanks David, glad you liked it 👍

I was waiting for this Vlog since I seen the pictures on the boat page🙂 it looks like ye had a great trip 👌 it’s a journey I must do at some stage.
It's a journey I'd certainly recommend Thomas 🙌

Thanks Chris. I'd say to give it a go when the water levels are high, and there's not too much weed.👍
