A spin cannot be used to avoid a collision. The vehicle moves along the template and hits the obstruction before the spin can be applied. In this instance, you are still required to take the hazard for the spin but do not get to spin the vehicle.
I noticed that as soon as he said it. Interrupted by the obstacle first. Good catch!
I love how they have a dice tray with their logo on it, and half the time they don't use it! 🤣
You guys forgot the explosive ram, on 1 and 2 the person with the ram takes damage too. He should have taken at least 5 more . This is why exploding rams are not as good as everyone thinks, people often miss use them. I saw he did it again, shame because he would have taken 4 their too. This game should be going completely different. Looking forward to watching the entire campaign playout. Love all your videos!!! Also, for the future, you cannot spin to avoid hitting and object your path is interrupted and thus you hit the object and still take the hazard for the spin, but do not spin. Also when he die and took a short forward he crossed the finish line. He would have won the race. Although he was dead ions ago after that initial ram, he had taken 9 hits. :)
I think Mudflap actually won. You don't become a wreck until after you resolve the short move forward. There is an example in the errata where a vehicle gets wrecked and then crashes into another car. FAQ says the player can decide if he smashes or evades because he isn't a wreck until after the move. You cease to be a vehicle once you are a wreck, which takes place after the movement. Even Yandi Idris crossed the finish line in a ball of fire last time he was seen.
Wouldn't be a GMG Bat Rep without the guest being cheated out of a game by a rules infraction...
yea i have played about 10 games and I still had to pause it to count his hazard maths he goes so fast itd be so easy to bamboozle a new player shaving off a hazard every time

Awesome video! If you guys continue this as a series could you get a camera that stays above the dice tray? The lighting and autofocus get thrown off every time the camera is moved and at some points it makes the results unreadable for the viewer. Maybe do a picture in picture camera of the dice results in one corner of the video. Just a thought, keep up the good work anyhow!

At 34:14 the gentle turn directed you into the container, but the spin saved you from that collision?
If a collision causes the vehicle to end its movement in an interrupted final position (see page 46) the vehicle does not get to spin, but still gains the Hazard Token. (Pg 24) Move Timing Step: 1.7 Move the vehicle into its final position (collision Window) 1.8 spin the vehicle if it had an uncanceled spin result. (Collision Window). Are you playing house rules?

When Mudflaps hits the buggy at 20:45 he rolls a bunch of 2's with his explosive ram - these should have damaged his own vehicle.
Yeah he should have been dead way earlier lol
Done a med straight then positioned his car at an angle at the end of the template without a slide it should be parallel with the short end of the template as rules written

You only need one car to cross the finish line so if Famine had cut across the middle to catch the Slime in a head on dakkadakka/ram as it came out of gate 3 War could probably have taken a massive lead

I don’t have gas lands but I play my version with my family.Ive adjusted some of the rules to make the game go quicker,our favorite game mode is cars vs monster trucks!!

When you fail a flip check you ignore all vehicles and obstructions when doing the forced movement. The thought is that you are airborne flipping over everything. So when the pink car failed it's flip it should not have collided with the buggy.

What kind of magnetic sheeting did you use for the armor? So then are you only using metal guns?
The pink car actually won. Pink crossed the finish first. Doesn't matter that they wrecked. Otherwise great game! I will def be checking out the rest of the season.
Technically Pink died like twenty minutes earlier from collateral damage of its own ram... but we forget lots of things lol

at the 20min ish mark did they forget the explosive ram in the head on?
Why was the ghost rider following the course? He should have been cutting across the circuit and getting in front of the lead car to gather soul tokens, or, at least make him evade the Ghost Rider.

I watched all the way to the end,. And you actually get fully painted points?! That shouldn't factor.
TIL that Buggies start with Big Wheels...
They don't, they start with a Roll Cage, like a Buggy, but I know Ash likes to do a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure when it comes to game rules.
Also, watching Ash rules-lawyer someone about slide-spin movement after he gives himself an extra 1/2" every time he moves is so hypocritical. Also good to see that he forgets that a Buggy is a Lightweight when it's to his detriment.
These antics is why I stopped watching this Channel, it's the same for every system, scummy cheating play, and the guests don't have the power to call him out on it.

Ash added it in because he plays recklessly (rolling full Skid dice every turn), and I agree. The entire fun of the game is ignored when there's no responsibility for bad actions.
In the first collision... both cars get the same base dice. He should have gotten more.

I totally agree, on the plus side, you just missed even more egregious rules errors.
