    The headliner is the best I’ve ever seen.

    Love the caramel extended leather interior on this. Previous owner may have skimped on maintenance but not options. Great review as usual

    Really good content. Maybe in the future you would also cover speakers rattles. There are many cars who has premium sound system and those rattle like crazy, eg. B&o in audi A4 b9

    If you pause it at 2:47, (or pretty much anywhere) you see where the airbag would open.
    Left side armrest is really worn. Same with the steering wheel. Service overdue. Junk all over the place.
    Probably been in a wreck at some point. Certainly neglected.
    That little transmission slip you mentioned... This is not high miles and it's not an old car. A transmission has to hold up. End of story.
    Not impressed by the build quality either. Especially the pops of the B pillar air vents. Those things will make the same noise due to heat expansion. Really annoying and it destroys your perception of quality.
    And then there is the fast that you have a bunch of crazy expensive parts and WILL fail on this car.

      You have a good eye. There is an accident on the carfax. Drivers side rear quarter was repainted poorly. All that beautiful leather gone to waste.

      why are you trying so hard to pick on a car that even though was neglected and been in an accident still did noticeably better than most cars on this channel? why are you hating on this car?

    • @ast5515
      @ast5515 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@theotherchannel2028 It's a valid question and I was quite harsh on this car.
      I'm just as harsh on others in my head, I just don't always comment.
      There are some dirt cheap cars that are built better than 100k luxury barges (obviously not from better materials, but they creak less). And that's ridiculous. The more expensive the car, the more it bothers me.
      I'm also kind of a fan of BMW. Even with all their problems, they always seem to make cars that are good to drive. And they creak and rattle. All of them. It's so damn simple to fix. Just use felt tape. It's not that expensive.
      Here is the kicker about creaks and rattles: you have thousands of people designing a new car. There are hundreds of people making decisions. It's their job to make good decisions and good products. That's literally all they do.
      If a random fucking user notices anything that isn't perfect, they fucked up. They didn't do their job.
      They also didn't fix it in testing. They have access to test tracks with various surfaces. They all heard the rattles. But some idiots decided it's not a big deal. They didn't do their fucking job. Just build good cars. It's not that difficult. There are 50 year old cars with less rattles than brand new ones. Yaaaay, progress...

    I don't know what's with all people bragging about Audi having best interior?? It's an absolute and FAT lie!! I had A8 D3 and yes,the interior is good,but quality of materials not consistent! For example the top side,from MMI above quality is top,but under that,where your knees are,you see a lot of hard and cheap plastics! With BMW,even on much cheaper models you got soft touch luxurious materials and fabrics! This guy is so biased to Audi that i am out of his channel. Dislike.

      I have also a8 d3 and those have vynil on the bottom of side of central consol and also on the doors where is the knees.I had passat b5.5 also and that car is clearly lower class.

    It’s a shame these engines are guaranteed to have valve seal, timing chain, and other issues. Very cool car, hard not to like.

      This is the facelifted 7 Series with an updated N63TU engine, which has been very reliable since its release and it has NONE of the pre-LCI problems. That was a brilliant decision by BMW, cuz the OG N63 was a joke of an engine lol. Everything surrouding the engine would fall apart. For the best reliability possible I'd still get the 730d, but this is still really good. And this particular 7 Series is amazingly well specced with that gorgeous Merino leather. Such a shame it hasn't been treated well... How American.

    • @derekchisholm972

      In the US in 2013, we only got
      The 740i, 750i, and 760i. No diesels, unfortunately

    • @marcellukacic5221
      @marcellukacic5221 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@derekchisholm972 yeah it's a shame you guys didn't get the N57 diesel lump. That thing is so smooth and economical. Bulletproof, too. I guess the reason diesels don't sell that well in USA is because you guys have hilariously small fuel prices compared to Europe, so running an F-150 Raptor isn't that big of an issue. Cars like the 730d/A8 3.0 TDI are regularly used on highways because of their torque and unbeatable range. That's why diesels are so popular here in Europe. It's a crying shame that the entire EU wants to ban them and force everything to electric power...

    • @derekchisholm972
      @derekchisholm972 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. We got some diesels. 335d, 535d, X5 around 2010. But not as many as I’d like.
