Is it correct to assume that many premium car manufacturers scammed customers with good looks and poor interior quality materials through 2011 till around 2017? Now nearly all mainstream brands recently started to really embrace soft touch squigy rubber which is of a far better quality, putting to shame the likes of Mercedes, Porsche and BMW
Pretty ride to be sure ... but a maintenance horror story. With all the effort BMW (or even Merc for that matter) puts into creating a piece of jewelry with wheels so you can ride in it, you would think they could do a better job on things like mechanical features like engines, trans, suspension, etc. No doubt they could. But alas ... management hath decreed from on high most likely, that 750i with the "exec" package shall be a pile of .... after 90,000 miles .... which is probably why the guy traded in for a lessor Volvo instead of investing in this potential (NOT) family heirloom in my opinion.
My aunt had this car, every time she went to get it served at the dealer, she always came back with something wrong. Like she went for an oil change, turns out she needed new fuel injectors, so she just got a Tesla instead
@@lufetm although the Tesla is nice, and quick. The car was already faulty even before they gave her they keys. I warned her about Tesla’s. I told her she should get Lexus instead

Bmw updated there n63 motor in 2013 to the n63TU which fixed all of the bmw problems fron the previous model

My dad has a 740i this gen and it’s running at 180k km daily driver. It’s reliable if you properly take care of it
Napa leather is not the best. It's thick top grain leather.
