Stevie's versatility was out of this world! Check out "Riviera Paradise" from this same show! Reese is also killing it on keyboards too! Watching the band perform this always brings a tear to my eye. God bless Double Trouble and R.I.P. Stevie.

You should watch the music video to this. For your time. It is so funny! In an interview they asked if he liked acting he said yes. He was in a movie playing a guitar player. I can't remember the name of it! Have you notice Stevie isn't center on the stage? He said it's not just him it's Chris,Tommy, and Reese up there. Such a wonderful human being. Have you watched Life Without You Capitol Theater? That shows you the man Stevie was. Thanks for keeping his music alive! Love you Stevie your music lives on! 🙏 RIP

Stevie's guitar brought us back to the rockin' blues from the darkness of machine music disco in the 80s.

Stevie Ray delivered every single time. The man never played a bad song. Can you imagine possessing the talent of any one of those guys up on that stage? And when you put them all together, we got magic like this. It's wonderful to know that his band members are still playing beautiful music, but it sucks really bad that Stevie Ray isn't here to play it with them.

I was lucky enough to see Stevie in Seattle when he opened for Ray Charles. Didn't know him but he blew us away and we were covered in sweat from dancing and watching him go crazy with his guitar and band was so frickin awesome. Had tickets for his upcoming concert but SRV past before we had the chance. Still miss his presence. ❤️

I love your enthusiasm!!! Its infectious as is Stevie I knew Stevie as a musician in ATX. I'm 63 and miss him everyday!!!! What you said about him right now so true! Most humble soul roo. And talk about respect for his heros. Check him out with Albery King on a PBS recording they did. About 90 min. Stevie never steps on musicians or; look, I'm out playing him or whatever. It's about playing "together" and of course honoring your influence and Albert King was one of many of Stevies influences. I could go on for years with Stevie stories...
Love your channel. Just found you and subscribed. Thank you for this..I'm crying and happy at the same time! RIP brother Stevie 🙏❤🙏

Love the content. His Austin City Limits 1989 performance is one of his greatest performances tbh. A little FYI the song “coldshot” is actually the song “Pride & Joy” slowed down. Should react to Stevie and Jimmy Vaughan “Pipeline” you would love it.

  • @NBKenC

You might want to check out Arc Angels, particularly "Living in a Dream", "See What Tomorrow Brings" or "Shape I'm In". All from their only studio album. The band is Stevie Ray's rhythm section Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton (aka Double Trouble) joined by Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton on guitars and vocals. The whole album is great. Doesn't fill the void after Stevie's tragic death, but shows the guys keeping that Texas version of blues-based rock alive and well. Would love to hear your reaction. I'm glad I came across your channel. Been binging on it for the past few days. Keep up the fine content!

You do know that Reese was/is an Allman Brothers Band member, right? When Duane Allman and Dickey Betts put the band together Reese was the keyboardist. They needed a vocalist and Duane called his little brother, who was also keyboardist, and Reese was squeezed out. He came back after Gregg Allman’s death and played the Allman Brothers Band’s 50th Anniversary show last year. He also released his first solo record in 2019.

I would like to suggest a band to you. They are a Canadian band, the lead singer died a few years ago from cancer and it was a sad day for us, but the band took it in style, one last big tour. The thumbnail seemed to be from the official music video. You should've reviewed the music video... which is hilarious... a spoof on SRV's guitar obsession... all done to the studio track. Love the live performances, but I think a reaction to one of their well-done music videos would really be appreciated. Recommend the ones for "Superstition," "The House Is Rockin'," and "Couldn't Stand The Weather," for examples.
