Amazing in concert! Even listening to the album or on a juke box we would dance our asses off! I can remember bringing the album home to my apartment, my roommates and I rocked out
West Hartford, Ct, Portsmouth, Va and Bristol, Ct. That's where I saw SRV 82, 85, 89 In 89 he was playing with the Fab Tbirds but there was an issue and we got the long set of SRV.
Reese joined the band in its last 5+ years at Stevie's invitation. He has said that it was fun and challenging to play with Stevie because Stevie tuned 1/2 step down, making for "gnarly" (Reese's description) hand positions for chording on the keys. To me, the best example of the band as a whole is the Austin live performance of Riviera Paradise. Such a smooth, beautiful instrumental that came from the depths of Stevie's heart, and every member of the band is completely connected and in sync. Magical!
Riviera Paradise is my most favorite! It is Stevie's masterpiece. Lee has reacted to the Toyko version and then had a request for the ACL performance and fell in love with it. Check out his Stevie playlist...👌✌️
Most people are not aware the Reese was the original keyboard player in the Allman brothers. Then Duane called up Gregg and got him to join and the rest is history.
That guy on keys is Reese Wynans.and he currently is with Joe Bonamassa group . He joined after Stevie was killed. He is amazing. Loved that song. Lee do you want to let us know who your favorite guitarist of that genre is😂
Yo, you should checkout the next band that Chris and Tommy started after Stevie died- “Arc Angels” Start with the song- Living in a dream. It’s an amazing band!!!
They say that Stevie could "walk the bar". That means that he could jump on the bar, play his guitar while walking up and down it without spilling anyone's drinks
I've read that in the comments too. This one girl said he was as stealth as a cat and never disturbed drinks or ashtrays. She said it almost looked like he was levitating he was so smooth all the while just killing it on the guitar🎸‼️
🙌👏🎸💙🎶‼️How much fun was that? I told you the video quality is sub par but the performance more than makes up for it. Love Struck Baby is an original from Stevie. And yes, Reece the Beast🎹‼️. He joined the group in April of 1985 so everything after that date Reece is there. As good as he was when he joined, he said he had to step up his game to play with Stevie. Stevie always loved pushing other musicians he was playing with to elevate with him. This was a really great concert so feel free to dip in anytime! He performs "Willie the Wimp" in his Cadillac coffin that you need to see sometime. It is about a true story of a Chicago gangster that wanted to go out in style. You can Google a photo of Willie in his Cadillac coffin! Thanks for another great reaction Lee🎶🎸‼️
Woo hoo Harriet! You hit the jackpot with this one! Now....for the 684th time I'm gonna request Ain't Gon Give Up On Love and Change It both live at The Capitol Theatre!!lol..fingers crossed..love SRV Sundays!!,💞✌️

I will love that man’s playing to the end of my days! Well done Harriet and Lee.
We were raised with his music 🎶 Absolutely 💯 brilliant 👏 God bless everyone 🙏
Sober, Strong, SRV...❤
If the House is a Rocking, don't come a knocking! 😂❤✌️
Love SRV
He is so F-ing good. Every video he kills it. SRV = The G.O.A.T.
SRV playing some old time rock and roll like only Stevie could. Amazing!
SRV, the band, and the audience clearly are having a blast in this two-fer captured from the Daytona Beach, FL, concert. Stevie's even dancing!
There will never be another. You might enjoy his brothers group- The Fabulous Thunderbirds
Reece Wynans, now with Joe Bonammasa, check out "Going Down" live at Greek theater, Reece strips the color off the Keyes. ❤

SRV is always worth watching/hearing!
Thanks Harriet :)
You are most welcome! My pleasure🎸🎶
@@harrietmiller3982 Love him so much!
I think power is what you were looking for to describe Stevie.
180 degree difference between sober stevie & super coked up & drunk stevie.... *both* fire.
Now that’s rock and roll!!
Harriet, Sweet Harriet, you stole my heart and my cat.
A genius 🎸...enough said 👏
Stevie!! :D

"Lovestruck" sounds like straight rock and roll--Chuck Berry w/Jerry Lee Lewis on keyboard.
Jerry Lee Lewis & Chuck Berry -- exactly the duo who popped into my cabeza, tambien!
The keyboard player now plays for Joe Bonamassa
SRV👍💕
See his sound check video.
They were flying !!
