Cav plate is probably too big but i would start with an adjustment and still no good start slicing 20 - 30 mm at a time till you reach half way between it and old one and more boost now you have meth maybe e85 is an option also ❤ love ya work bobby halving the passenger would be a big help lol😂😂😂😂 and raise the windscreen on more of an anle so you can get behind it like a road bike hahaha 😊

Ya did it lad hay I don’t no much about boats but my rc boat I got one of them plates and the corners was cut just a bit so in stead of cutting 200 off try 150 with 50 off the corners and if it’s no good take it to the full 200 like ya was I say give it a shot nothing to lose. good work mate
I think water meth is grossly under rated. I have been using it on my Diesel 4WD for years and it gives it a kick in the tail that can't be mistaken. Keeps the EGT's down and as I run used veg oil fuel, it also keeps the engine clean. Running 50 % meth @ 1000Ml Min, you are adding about 40 Hp worth of fuel.
Interesting you can run 1000Ml min. I run about 300 but you are also doing a lot more revs than my TD42 so that would allow for a lot more WM as well.
It is a pretty simple thing to add, I guess it's just a pain to fill up another tank and always the risk of if it's stand alone and it stops working, the motor may not survive.. 😜👍👍

Once up and running should not be doing much ( only creates unwanted drag)

I thought you would of took the batt grinder. A bit long but a bit wider would stop the ventilation. Cavitation is a prop size/pitch thing. Prop spinning to fast and goes pass it efficacy and burst air bubbles in water. Love it your going in the right direction.

That's mad haha try adjustable hydraulic trim tabs might help I reckon there's too much boat in the water possibly
picks up quickly but sounds like prop is cavitating. id try to make it dual prop if I was you, move more water than one and it will accelerate faster.

Awesome job cracking the 100! My thoughts, whats the gear ratio on the V drive, can it be changed to a higher output ratio? You've got the HP to not worry too much about holeshot, but maybe it will get you better top end.
My thoughts exactly. Top speed is purely down to how many rpm you turn the pump. This already had more than enough power to turn the rpm it needs, so adding power doesn't make much difference to the top speed. It needs a bigger pump, or more pump rpm. Very very cool project. ❤
It's an odd one to work out.. I am trying to give it more speed by going higher in the rpm, but after a 17second pull at wide open throttle, she won't go over 5250rpm. I'd be happy to go to 6300rpm.. so I was hoping more power would give me more rpm which would spin the prop faster.. it still seems crazy to me that the revs just plataue and it won't push up past a certian rpm!

bobby haha ya boat isnt bad man congrats on 100kmh!! how many rpm max is it pulling? ya rpm to kmh will tell you alot even just cruising on plane! id say it still needs more prop! also cav plate size is relative to how you want the boat to perform
At 1000 she's at 5300rpm. At 95 it's at 4900. At 97km is 5200.
Driving easy and on the plane at 50kmh its at roughly 2700rpm I think, I can confirm cruising speed rpm 👍👍
Get rid of the pod filter and piping off the turbo and see if it makes a noticeable difference.
It's not going to. Its getting plenty of fresh air.. i have had full length of piping to the filter box. plus a snorkel up the piller on the dyno. Made all of 2hp difference.
What sort of timing are you running up top? We are running water meth also and are achieving pretty much same timing as E85, so don’t be afraid to throw some timing at it
Just 11 at the moment. With 14pound. Na motor. Not huge huge but now I can stay in it for as long as I want 👍👍
You can definitely go a lot more aggressive on your timing. If you are running 1000cc meth injector you should be able to push at least 16 degrees up top. That will easily get you well and truly over the 100km mark.
congrats. now i watch all your videos about this bloody boat. whats the actual problem bobby? is the boost already limiting factor? or is power enough and RPMs missing? or what is it?
if there is not enough power you need to reduce pitch of that propeller or get a real good performance prop. seems like you can putr all the power in you want that thing dont want to go faster. tell me whats limiting right now? because in your videos its not very clear what you doing on that laptop every time. would be cool if you explain it a bit clearer next video.
cant you just throw in all the boost and increase RPM for one run to see what happens and if FUEL/AIR gets too lean? 😘
I can't tell you why it hits such a hard stop.. it's reving right near where peak power would be. The laptop is just engine tune stuff with more boost and a little better spark and fuel timing. At 14 pound and holding her flat like this, the N/A motor is getting pretty close to its limit! I can't just throw 20 pound at it and send 😜

How much power is she making? Maybe not enough to get that prop up to speed, this might sound counter intuitive but, have you considered less pitch on your prop? It should spin 6500 no sweat, 70mph no sweat.
I would say its making right near 300kw. 400hp. Should be plenty 😆

For 120 attack the boat with a sander and get rid of some unnecessary fibreglass. Man I had so much joy when she cracked 100, like it was my boat lol. As the video was going I was thinking of reasons why it didn’t crack 100. Like the gps needed recalibration 😂 but then it done it.
You are feeling all my feelings! 😅😅😅 she's gets to 90km easy as, the hull just hates 100😭
Just fyi the meth nozzle should have been directly after intercooler. Gives it the longest time with the hot air mix to work its cooling magic.
It's not only for cooling, to far from the intake and it won't be helping much with knock resistance..

Now pissoff the water mix and run pure methanol should be able to run at least 4 plus degrees of timing more it helps a lot

@@BobbyMcBoost no it’s all good with straight methanol my 2jz dragster runs meth and the intake manifold is cold as after a run get some methanol on your hands and blow air on it your hands get cold real quick the water in the mix is only there to keep the system clean and not so expensive my vl turbo has a snows kit on it and when we dynoed it we tried the water meth mix and it worked but when we went pure methanol it worked better and helped the fueling alittle as most of it is already evaporated by the time it hits the intake valve all it is liquid inter cooling
