Nope Redmi Pad SE has emmc 5.0 storage that's a quite old & slow will degrade every thing you do on Tab. Alsi Redmi update as lower end devices are atrocities they will slow down & degrade the performance.
I was leaning toward the Redmi until you brought up the bench scores.

Both are quite similar on specs but I rely more on Samsung for software updates. (BTW A9+ has UFS memory whereas redmi has emmc)
U sure ? if that's true.. than it's much bigger difference.. UFS 2.1/2.2 have like 3x times faster compared to emmc
Well. in fact.. am not shocked since Redmi Pad SE is a downgraded version of normal Redmi Pad
Even the CPU.. normal Redmi pad had (Helio G99) which is 20% faster than (SD 680) in CPU & 50% faster in GPU
The only good thing about new Redmi pad SE is the price Lol

Samsung is 50 percent more expensive in this video.
In where I live in HK, red mi pad is about 120 usd and Samsung A9 plus is about 220 usd, and the redmi one looks and sounds better.
And for tablet in this price range, able to watch 4k videos, with good camera for meeting, and able to check email, browse the web without lag is enough for most people. If you want to game, just buy xiaomi tab. Cost similar to A9 plus but better in every way.

I had the same problem with a umidigi phone..if I'm not bs'n it a setting the deal's with 3 three-finger function..like when u put 3 fingers to take a screenshot.. turn the settings off and your phone will recognize more fingers

If U can get normal Redmi Pad (not SE) than go for it.. cause it's have Halio G99 CPU.. which is 20% faster than Redmi Pad SE
Tab A9 also have G99 CPU.. but it's screen is meh (800p).. so U might better luck with A9+
A9+ has 1200p screen, and come with SD 695 CPU.. which is like 5% faster than G99 (around 25% faster than SD 680) so it's won't lag in the longer run (especially after updates).. personaly I just ordered A9+ yesterday & got the 8 RAM version for the longer run (3+ years)

It's smooth & good overall.. but to be honest I didn't use it for work or editing.. but as far as I heard, it's can do some light work with no issues
But that's about it.. if you want heavy work Tab.. U need a higher-tier Tab like S9 or cheaper S8

Hello. I have a question. At some news 2 weeks ago from my country it says that if you install one ui 6.1 on a list of some phones and mine too (S21FE), it might turn off a technology that prevents the screen to burn in. Or it reffers about only the beta version? Im scared to not being in the version i got last week too, and in curious if its worth to update, or not? I got the 6.1 last week, as notification to update, but i dont do it, if u dont confirm me if its safe or not.

Been using Samsung since 2015 with no issue.. S& Edge, S10 Plus, S20 FE, S23 Plus.. and didn't had any pixel burn or any crap (and all my phones Screens were OLED)

Biggest deal for me is dex tbh. Have an s23 ultra and thought of buying a monitor but most portable monitors here are huge for my bag. A9+ has dex but the other specs of redmi pad is just better and also way cheaper.

Not sure how the A9+ is $300.. I just ordered yesterday for $200.. so it's nearly same price as Redmi Pad SE
Redmi Pad SE have slightly better display.. slightly better Battery..
But A9+ have better CPU (especially single crore) & feels smooth compared to Redmi Pad SE.. also much better fps in games
Redmi Pad Se only shines when it's get below $150 (Discount).. still.. old Redmi pad (G99) is better than new Redmi Pad SE (SD 680)
Not sure how Redmi Pad SE decided to go with SD680.. which is like 15% worse than Helio G99.. but probably they wanted to reduce costs even more

@FishBeeProductions hmm that's weird.. cause I remember that Samsung doesn't have Reion locks to begin with.. so it's mostly the same thing unless you mean the 5G coverage, which sometimes differs
All in all.. not really worth it for $300.. $250 max for the 8/128.. at $300 ill just spend another $100 & get S9 FE
The only consideration of chosing Samsung is becaus its Dex, if Xiaomi have that on their future Pad OS it will be game changer for budget market.

got the redmi pad se 6gb ram on blackfriday offers for only 110$ , been working great since then, i use it mainly for emails check, media consumption and light gaming and it's working perfect
feels like a bargain compared to Samsung tab a9+ which i see excels only on processor but that doesn't sound worth about 150~200$ extra or maybe i'm wrong but happy with me redmi pad se so far
Got A9+ yesterday for $200 (8gb/128GB) and the 4GB/64GB was like $150.. but bigger RAM is needed for the long run
And yes.. for $110.. Redmi Pad SE is super great (best Tab value for that price)
I also bought Redmi Pad (not SE) before a few months for my brother.. was like $190.. but it's have better CPU compared to SE version (Helio G99 Vs SD 680).. but as always.. Samsung charge U little more because their better OS & longer & less bugs..etc

for a $100 dolar difference where Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is more expensive i still pick Redmi Pad SE anytime, if you want to make it a head to head compare the Galaxy Tab A9+ to the regular REDMI PAD where the price is at the same range.

@@abdelrahmaelmasry8435i have a samsung tab s5e with 4 gb ram and 64gb, and its not the best. The redmi pad ur buying is way better. If ur using it for gaming, then go for the samsung as its more powerful. If ur using it for productivity, then you can go for the redmi.
