In my country the FE is more than 2 times the price. (230 vs 495 euros). Tbh, if you are not too demanding, I think the A9+ is the best value for the money (by far).

that is quite unfair.
The FE has the "Artist's Premium" price tag. They know the dedicated niche market can easily be manipulated due to poor competition from top manufacturers (Huion, XP-Pen, and Wacom, who won't compete regardless because they make the S-Pen). Apple takes advantage of this too, but I wish they'd compete in price on their lower end instead of everything else 😂
I wish Samsung would consider making an s pen for the A series, even if they would sell it separately. Samsung would most definitely benefit from that as well as the consumers

People are hating on A9+ due to 4gb/64gb. Look at 8gb ram version with 128gb storage it's a completely different game. Flawless performance no lag or stutters and i mostly use multiple apps simultaneously. This is coming from an ipad pro user who bought A9+ as a secondary tablet and it has really exceeded my expectations. Yes its got tft display but with 90hz refresh rate its so smooth and flawless. Amazing value for money the 8gb ram version is!

Even the 4GB RAM 64GB Storage for the A9+ is still a great tablet. I know bcos i own one. I have a 256GB Micro SD installed so no biggie and its definitely better. Why do ppl hate the A9+ so much idk. I am coming from a really old Samsung Tablet which is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A6 which is like really old very disappointing but the A9+ wow. Guess it depends on the user. A9+ definitely exceeds my expections 🎉
For casual use (two or so hours a day) the A9+ is great (8/128Gb version). For more serious and longer use S9 FE is a better choice (writing this on A9+ 😀).
I'm probably still going to go with the A9+ 128 8 version. I made the mistake of buying the A7 32 3 version back in 2021 and ended up filling that up pretty quick. Never going to buy the lower storage option again.
I have seen that S9 FE has GPS sensor but I am not sure about accelerometer, gyro and compass. I need those things for hard use in ride sharing , can you please help me with those details? Thanks in advance!

I'm gonna upgrade from the Tab A8 to the S9 FE plus. I want the larger screen for when i watch movies and shows also getting it for $500 which is cheaper than a ipad pro and it includes the pen i won't have to spend extra for it. I can't wait to get mine tomorrow!!
I cross shopped these two for my new tablet. But given that the A9+ still isnt released in the US and that an S8 was cheaper than an S9 FE, i went with the S8

I'm so happy with my A8 4/64 version (paid 150€ on sale) and I don't really need an upgrade with the A9+. Let alone the S9 FE. Hahaha.
At least for my usage: streaming, ebooks, comics, ,videocalls with friends/relatives, some web browsing, Xbox Cloud and NO GAMING OR MULTITASKING.
At the end of the day, it all comes up with your specific needings.
Anyway. Everyone say that the A series mount a TFT display. But TFT isn't a generic way to define an LCD screen?
TFT could be TN, VA, IPS at the same time. I'm puzzled. 🤔
I know, it's stupid. Used an A9+ in a store though and believe it may be a TN display. They've just gotten the colours better than you'd normally expect on one. Think it's TN cause it doesn't have the viewing angles of IPS and black on things still looks pretty grey, so probably not VA.
Nope. LCD is the generic term for all those, because they are all Liquid Crystals Displays. LCDs can be any one of those types: TFT, IPS, etc. You can think of them as sub-types of LCD.

i am really on the fence about these two. I'm leaning more towards s9 fe since it has its own stylus and has a special samsung keyboard case as well as bigger battery capacity. But I'll have to spend extra money on a 45w charger

Great video. First time buying a tablet and on the fence in these two. Any idea about long term performance of both series? Hoping to buy something to last 4 years or more. Just for watching videos and browsing. No games or heavy stuffs.
A9+ might be good enough but FE will be smother years later with better performance
If you are not a pencil user, go for the A9+ 8Gb/128gb. The price difference with the FE is just too high. I bought my Galaxy A9+ for EURO 249,00. The S9 FE with 6GB/128GB was EURO 469,-. Almost double the price. They both have Samsung DEX. For DEX I prefer the extra 2 GB ram that the A9+ has over the S9FE. And, software support for the A9+ at least till 01/2029, which is a few months more then the S9fe.
I have a dilemma, I have an S6 lite, is it worth exchanging it for an A9 plus or S9 fe? Is it better to wait a year or two for a more efficient model?
I got my S9 FE brand new with a student discount directly from Samsung a couple weeks ago. As an animation student, it's been one of if not the most worthwhile purchases I've made in a while. You do lose out on some Dex features (video out thru USB, since the FE has a pretty old USB 2.0) but for the price, it's an amazing device. If you're a student or someone who uses your tablet for notetaking or drawing I'd definitely suggest picking up the S9 FE.

The A9 Plus is already on sale for $$169, pretty much everywhere. With some places giving you a free case with it for that price.

Just ask yourself: Do I need a 12,4 inch Display? Then buy the Tab S9 FE+
Do I need more performance, better screen, DeX on external monitors, better speakers, better cameras, Bluetooth S Pen? Then get the Tab S9.
I personally would recommend you if the prices are equal to just getting the Tab S9. You get wayyyy more, but lose one inch of screen.

Is it possible to use the samsung A9+ as a dex screen with a S23 ultra. The A9+ is fine for content consumption but I would like to use a more powerful processor with a bigger portable screen for some productivity task.
Can you connect the S23 to another external display? There are several better options than using the tablet for that, there are portable monitors that would work great...

audio tests are test of your recording system more than anything else. same goes for Camera comparisons. To make the point earlier in the video when you did the side-by-side screen comparison we believe you. your poodle pops I mean really pops on the S9 FE

I ordered the S9 FE 128 Gb for $240 in Russia. I doubt whether to pick up the order now or not) I am worried about reports that the device does not sleep well and quickly loses charge when not in use. Tell me, has anyone come across this?
With OneUI 6.0 they fixed it by a lot. Battery life has been amazing since that update, before it was garbage.

S9 FE at Best Buy is $519 for the 8GB RAM model... I bought the A9+ with 8GB RAM on sale today for $219. So they are not in the same price class for comparison.

i got the A9+ (8/128 version) on sale in Australia for $399AUD (but i got sales tax back, so that lowered the price to $363 AUD).
IMHO The comparison should be against the S6 Lite which is much closer in price to the A9+, not S9FE. i was going for the S6 Lite (s-pen!) but then saw the A9+ 8/128 version on sale and couldn't resist having 8gb of RAM (vs 4Gb)
the S9FE retails above $650aud (hence its not a close comparison)

I got my A9+ for $179 and it is great. It also came with Android 14 not 13. I have a cheap stylus and it works fine. There is no way I'd pay $400 for a tablet when this one was less than $200. Does everything that I need it to do.

@@ashy3477 Neah i got the S8 Plus instead. Better in any way. But i guess A9 + is a big improvement compared to A8. A8 was a tablet that made no sense to me. Screen, speed it was all bad.

I cancelled my samsung S9 (forget the FE version) for A9+. Bought A9+ 8Gig+128 Gig. Its so premium for the price range it is being offered for.
To be honest only few people who dont use any other thing to write notes and are solely dependent on note taking tabs should buy the expensive versions like FE+, S9,S9+.. and going beyond to iPads. But for most users it is either necessity of watching udemy/coursera/pluralsight videos or binge watching netflix etc which is completed by A9+
Don't look at those videos selling the 120hz refresh rate and ultra premium feel.
Get something more with that money - a nice furniture to relax or a certification to boost your skill.

tft is very similar to IPS, you are probably confusing it with TN
Unless people need a Premium Tablet, I recommend the Galaxy Tab A9+. It doesn't include a S-Pen, but there are many third brands.
P.S.: I don't understand why S9 FE is 10.9".
