I'm coming from a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" that I purchased on Black Friday, in 2016. This has to be the best review on this tablet that I've seen and for the price, its very reasonable.
Can't beat the price when you factor everything that's offered. I usually don't outright recommend products to everyone but this is one that anyone can benefit from having
I have had the A9+ for about 2 months now and I absolutely love it. My only issue (and this is jumping up from a TCL 8inch tablet) is typing with the on-screen keyboard because of the size of it. I got a bluetooth keyboard that connects seamlessly with the tab and using it along with my trackball mouse, I almost dont need my laptop. Now if something happened to this tablet would i go out tomorrow and buy another one? You betcha I would!!!!!!
I've got the base model, use it for newspaper reading, email, browsing, some simple games, and I am quite happy with it, the only downside, as ment. in the video, is the slow charging speed.

After making this video, I went ahead and upgraded to a 8/128 model myself since it was $210 on amazon. For $20 more than what I originally paid for the 4/64, definitely well worth the money. I am finding that even 6GB RAM is sufficient on these Samsung devices, so 8GB is more than enough

About the small tiny lag, turn off the animation from settings.. lags will disappear with animations off Already bought A9+ the 8GB version, for like $205 back in January, & it' super value I liked it very much, so I bought another one in Feb Lol, gave it my wife, & she liked it It's best Tab from Samsung in last 5 years, at least for low-end models.. also the SD695 is super efficient & strong for avg users (only 1 charge every week since I use it lightly Lol), but for medium users.. probably will last 3 days easily I would bought S9 FE, but I don't use Tabs for daily basis, so I decided to go with A9+ since it's more than enough for my needs
Thanks for this video, Shane. I think I'll stick to my Lenovo Tab M10Plus 3rd Gen for now. Both your A9+ and Lenovo have the same specs, and I have not yet seen it stutter while doing things. My battery life is consistently above 10 hours screen time, and it does not have the same charging problem that your A9+ has.
I got one for my 83 year old grandma because her old tablet that my relatives pitched in on a cheap tablet from 2012 and it became obsolete like 2 years ago as my grandma no longer had access to fb where she could have contact with her grand kids and everyone else. thanks to the cheap tablet dying out on her so I hope the upgrade will work for her for many years to come. Update 10/7 she likes it and has made contact with her daughter and grand children and great grandchildren.

Yea - the 8g ram / 128 is definitely the way to go - $219 on sale right now! Unless you want to do crazy super video editing and high power things like that this is absolutely the best bang for your buck android tablet out there right now. Blazing fast - great battery - terrific display. And that 90 htz refresh rate really does make a GIANT difference. And it actually scrolls through websites faster than my iPad - which costs twice as much!

I just ordered this for my wife -- she is NOT a power user - but the split screen will be a good thing for her. Is there a way to limit the charge to 85%? I have that on another tablet that I use a lot as a BT repository for my MP3s that now number over 18,000. "DEX" is gonna be a challenge for her I think --- until she figures it out. I wonder if it will work with a stylus though? I have a few of them from other Samsungs ... mebbee.?!?! I'm looking forward to the UPS truck .....

@@fevad1246 yes I won’t deny that but I recently got an honor tablet and I’m very impressed by how good and fluid the software is. Reminds me a lot of apple iPad software. Which for me is a good thing as I’m an apple boy but only bad thing is the very slow updates.
The only problem I have with it is when the screen protector is applied, laying the tablet down will significantly reduce the touch sensitivity. Even with increase touch sensitivity turned on in the settings, it still has the problem. After google around, it was the capacitive screen itself that was not high quality
They tacked this on with my s24 ultra when I upgraded the other day lol. Its just a decent tablet, perfectly serviceable for TH-cam and web browsing which is fine and what ill be using it for anyways. Not gonna blow your socks off but it'll prolly replace my iPad mini since it's old and has a cracked screen. Really isn't intended to be a spec monster, for what it is its fine

If you are using it for work then stick woth laptops . If you only want to use for basic internet task then tablet and yes you can use your phone's data by opening Hotspot on your phone and then on tab you can just go to wifi connections and connect your phone wifi

Dex is PC Mode on this tablet, but really it is just a way in which the view of a laptop is emulated so that the applications take the form of windows. For video calls it performs perfectly, in the case of Excel and Canva, this tablet is very good at all that and more if you purchase the 8/128 version. The only drawback with this equipment is that it is not compatible with any SPEN and it cannot output video via HDMI cable. Outside of those two details, it is a great device for multimedia, games and everything related to office automation, just don't forget to buy a keyboard and a mouse to get the most out of Dex mode.

Just picked up 3 for 160 at Costco, with the $50 case. There WiFi only, but for 160, plus the included case. Not a bad deal at all.

esim support is lovely . you can get really cheap esim deals in Europe and other parts of the world. makes tablet perfect travel companion

I’m really looking forward to buying this one since I can’t afford the s9+ , is the camera good enough for video calls such as classes? Working on it excel use, maybe some Canva designs ? Also I don’t know what dex is.. 😢 I’m so lost with Samsung 😢
Dex is PC Mode on this tablet, but really it is just a way in which the view of a laptop is emulated so that the applications take the form of windows.
For video calls it performs perfectly, in the case of Excel and Canva, this tablet is very good at all that and more if you purchase the 8/128 version. The only drawback with this equipment is that it is not compatible with any SPEN and it cannot output video via HDMI cable. Outside of those two details, it is a great device for multimedia, games and everything related to office automation, just don't forget to buy a keyboard and a mouse to get the most out of Dex mode.
