When the fate of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her crew is at stake there is only one person who can rescue them, even from her doom. The DOCTOR!
This Doctor Who / Star Trek crossover trailer is something i wandet to do for quite a while. Because i'm a fan of both shows. Maybe the trailer is not perfect, but i just wanted to see how it would look like if Captain Picard would find himself on the TARDIS.
And i think i can say now... mission accomplished!
It cost me many working hours but i think the final result was worth the effort. What do you think? Please, let me know.

People always compare Star Trek and Star Wars even though Trek shares more similarities with doctor who
DW and ST have even had comic book crossovers this decade.

No one compares star wars to star trek. That was a old feud before the internet. I remember that in the 90s. Since the dawn of the internet a lot of sci fi fans have been able to get a long. To be honest with you. It was star trek fans who started the fued cause they believe a majority of star wars fans actually classified star wars a sci fi. I have yet to meet anyone who ever thought that. It was a matter of jealously and obscurity of thinking that a fantasy could be more popular then science fiction or any type of piece that resembles reality.
As a huge fan of TNG and the 12th Doctor, that was amazing.
Not to mention the fact that you had an English Frenchman, meeting a Scottish alien.
would be neat if Q put in appearance during the crossover and the Doctor was like "whose this guy?" and Guinan is like "Q! So this is YOUR doing! I should've known!" and maybe see a Q vs. Doctor battle of supernatural powers
Trekkers and Whovians have been wanting this for decades. Please BBC and CBS, make it so...
Stephen Birchard The closest thing you’ll get aside from fan fiction, is a comic book where the 11th Doctor lands in Picard’s ship on the holodeck. It’s actually really good, and has a reference to an older Doctor Who/Star Trek fan fiction where the 4th Doctor crossed with the TOS Enterprise crew.

This is years later, but Disney might actually be making this happen. I know people have been giving the new Doctors heat, but the newest one had a companion mention Star Trek and he told her they could go there.

This trailer is magnificent.
It reminds me of the last Doctor Who & Sherlock crossover trailer; both in equal quality and magnificence too. (But I have to say, the lip-syncing was better in the other one, no offense) (I still can't wrap my mind around how that one was edited)

Loved the Guinan inclusion! Reminds me of the comic assimilation that was a crossover, were both Guinan and the doctor could sense a familiarity with each other, Guinans awareness being explained in doctor who terms as being time sensitive, when her nature was a bit more ambiguous in star trek.
That would actually be a really cool crossover.

INCREDIBLY AWESOME!! Your editing skills deserve their own universe. And Guinan from ST:TNG as a Time Lady? Inspired!! Could even explain Guinan's actual mysterious nature. In the comics, both Kirk and Picard have met two or three incarnations of The Doctor so this could bridge the gap quite well. Masterfully done!!

I can see Guinan being friends with "The Doctor"
I have seen plenty of cross-overs in my time, and I must say, this was one of the best cross-overs I have ever seen. It was the best in way of cross-over choice, storyline, and editing. My favorite part of course was the Doctor shredding the Star Trek: TNG theme song. Did that really happen? Because the way he was playing matched the sound. Also, great surprise ending. Guinan being an old friend of the Doctor's and possibly a Time-Lady; that would definitely explain a few episodes (I'm sure you know the ones I referring to).

I one thousand percent agree, and I feel like both universes are well set up for it too.
Of course this will have to be with the new series, Star Trek: Discovery.
They both run a theory for their universes, which makes this theoretically possible.

Oh wow, well done! The editing is outstanding and it really flows together nicely. Really gives a good feel for the story being told. It makes me all the more wanting an actual crossover movie to be done!

My gosh this is incredible!!!! I'd love to see this expanded into a full movie, but with the Axenar litigation just having been settled... Anyhow, maybe doing a series of 15 minute episodes to tell the whole story might get around the restrictions?

I don't think the daleks stand a chance against Enterprise D but, a story wouldn't work without suspense. It would have made for a compelling episode of either franchise!
I've just started to watch Star Trek (9 days?) and i'm binge watching like DW ( like.. A season in a day.. Maybe more). I've already started to watch TNG. Oh My Gallifrey i need a doctor! Either Bones or the Doctor!

But one little point. Piccard lacked a bit contrast in the "In Tardis Scenes". Mad ehim look a bit like a Ghost.
