Enjoy the Cirrus Life as we take this short flight. Shot with the GoPro Hero 8 & 9 in stunning 4K UHD.

only thing more satisfying than completing and IFR flight and exiting the clouds right where you are supposed to...is to share it with a friend.

I’m still amazed humbled and in awe every time I fly, even more so cloud surfing or breaking out and the runway is right where it should be!!!

Good vid! Sidenote. Blue Red Red may not be a good idea if your at cruise at 180 knots and someone pulls.

I love that little trick for adding oil! Quick question, is the Cirrus the only airplane you found? If not, how does it compare to the others? I’m just curious, because they seem to be everywhere! Take care!

      Hey Russ,
Thanks for watching my video! I’ve owned a Cirrus for over five years, and currently partner in a newer one than you’d we in this video. So, I’m a little biased at this point…
So, the Cirrus mission is simplicity with tech, comfort, performance. I’ve paid my dues and flew “legacy” planes for years, instructed, and flew for the airlines.
Once you get to professional flying, it’s less about stick and rudder and more about reducing workload and automation management. It’s different, but arguably the next chapter in your journey as a pilot. It’s rewarding to get in this plane and manage the man/machine system, almost flying the Cirrus as a little airliner.
PS - the Cirrus hand flies great too!

You are pouring the oil backwards. Rotate the container 180 degrees. It will pour much better.

I have this method down, but I’ll give your way a try it next time. Thx!
