Ve'nari, the Broker of the Maw, has been a comfort in the violent home of the Jailer, but she is not without her faults. I have a hunch she knows more than she lets on. Don't trust her.

Great deduction m8!! Well done. The used toy is herself here. Im sure she did a bargain with the jailer. I think she is the one who smuggled frostmourne and the helm into our reality via the dreadlords. No proof of that just and idea haha

By now we have more information on her that people is in exalted and did her last quest.
The other broker from cartel ve in the maw tried to kill us, so he wasn’t to be trusted, the two brokers in nathria and de other side are both from cartel Xy, that’s why they both have Xy as prefix in their name, so they have an allegiance, and the disposed toy she’s referring to is indeed Baine, in beta, Ve’nari had already rescued Baine herself, because the Jailer got bored of him as he wasn’t as useful as Jaina or Thrall, so she was addressing him as the disposed toy of the Jailer and when it went live they changed that to have Baine fighting the Mawsworn as he was re captured, to make him look more heroic, as he was seen as a total wimp in alpha. Anyway, I still think she’s up to something, and although everything is pointing at a posible treason, she will stay on our side

If something was changed before the official release of an expansion, it's best to not consider it in regards to the lore in anyway.
Let's not forget that Nathannos was once a boss in Nathria and Wrathion was actually placed on the side of the Alliance during BfA's alpha.
But, because those ideas never fell through, they are not factual pieces of lore. The same goes for this instance.

1 thing does not fit: Ve'nari is smart and quick witted as hell, how would she get scammed by jailer? I mean yeah, he is powerfull and all, but Ve'nari does not trust easily, she is master of self perservance, to be honest its more probable for me that she bamboozled the jailer than the other way around. Good speculations besides that, I think she'll be raid boss eventually.

While I agree with you, i would like to add that Ve’nari did not enter the Maw along right? She had other associates most of whom was lost to the maw and a couple more that are in Torghast hiding. So maybe all of them were working with the Jailer and they all got betrayed. Or only ve’nari. “Betrayal is Inevitable”. She could have sold them out. And then she still gets betrayed by the Jailer. /shrug
