Ve'nari can hook you up, but what's her deal? How did she end up in the Maw. Why is she staying there?! All that and so much more we're going to be talking about today! I hope you'll enjoy ^_^

why is nobbel making videos about characters that don't exist? I don't remember meeting anyone called Ve'nari in the shadowlands
Rule #1
All my brain can make me hear when I click Ve'Nari is "Mother knows best'
Greenhouse
Nah
Huh
No
I was wondering if Ana's VA voiced Ve'Nari too.
@@ryanryan3220 it is!
"Lucky for you we are not keeping scores"
"Justice could use a nap"
"You're powered up, get in there."
I've never met anyone named Ve'nari, and have no idea what this video is about.
I love the design and presentation of the Brokers in general, idk why but to me they're just appealing and intriguing and I can't pinpoint what qualities make them so.
There is no Ve’nari in the Maw, just like there is no war in Ba Sing Se.
Ve’nari at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the shadowlands, localized entirely within the maw?
And like there is no evil in the Shadowlands :D
omg avatar memes, i love u
There are no wolves on Fenris
There is no cow level
Ve’nari is such a good new character I love
Heeeey a marina and the diamonds fan my respect sir
I'm more interested in what kind of beings those creatures are. Their actual body seems to be pure energy in the form of an open flame. Their physical bodies seem to be metal 'vehicles' in order for their actual flame bodies to get around.
I've been wondering if they're related to the Ethereals at all. Similar bodies, similar ethics and cultures.
I honestly feel like this whole Ve'nari situation is such a bait, I don't think we'll fight her.
I kind of suspect that she'll be a go-to contact in future cosmic expansions. She's already shown herself to be extremely resourceful, we have a good working relationship, and the brokers have been described as being able to travel to any of the realms of creation. It would just make sense to have her keep popping up when we go out into the wider cosmos.
I think she's telling the truth and shes the one that has indeed been betrayed. Obviously we're being baited into believing shes bad as you've said, but the truth of the situation will open up and allow a future patch/expac/conflict with the Brokers in some way with her aiding us.
Either that or she'll just be a lame future dungeon/raid boss :P
With how much we are told to not trust the brokers, I kind of find it more likely tha Ve'Nari is our only true ally among them.
She's the Jailer
Waiting for the twist that Sylvanas sent her to meet us for when she was trying to bring down the jailer this whole time and knew that the hero of azeroth would need the help
The Maw Walker has invited you to Lake Laogai.
There is no Ve'nari in the Maw.
Love Ve'nari's advice of get in and get out. Yup, that's what I do in the maw. Oh assassins are after me now f-ck the rest of those quests I'm done for today.
Maybe She’s working with Slyvanas. That’s probably her “Chess Move” over the jailer, should she ever get betrayed
My theory is Venari's first expedition found the Primus in Torghast and likely found the fabled Sepulcher's memory which is why the Jailer doesn't have the Sepulcher yet supported by Venari actually having a Primus memory and how she was able to get the thing that broke the Primus' handcuff without seeing what material it was made it, why her portal to Torghast is right next to the Primus' room and other Brokers knowing of the Sepulcher and about Venari's betrayal but not both specifics which would explain why Brokers get equally bothered when talking about both Venari and the Sepulcher. Brokers are also seemingly the only beings in Shadowlands that know both Venari and the Sepulcher, not even the Maldraxxi Barons and Margraves talk much if at all about it.
Now what she wants with this information is either to gather enough souls to hoard as much power as possible to escape the Maw and fight her way to the Sepulcher to claim it for herself or she knows what is inside of it and fears it being released which is why she's so adamant about as few people knowing about her as possible and staying hidden which is why she alludes to both the Jailer and the Brokers as equally dangerous enemies especially to us who see the Jailer as the objectively larger threat. The information is equally damning to both the Jailer and the Brokers.
With the Primus's ability to forsee millions of possibilities and him possibly seeing this path as the only way to be victorious maybe it's possible Ve'nari is working for the Primus.
All the brokers look like those enemies from devil may cry 4.
This broker is the devil whispering in your ear!
I also like the idea of other mawwalkers because to me it says that while we are special we are not THAT special. As illidan said “There can be no chosen one”.
I love her voice lol
She’s the voice of Ana from Overwatch :)
Me too it's captivating! :D
I believe cartel Ve, inclusing Ve'nari, was employed by the Jailer, his allies and "business partners"(Denathrius, Mueh'zala, nathrezim,...) to pass information and materials around. A group, including Ve'nari, was send there to facilitate things on that end. (they might have been persuaded to go there with the idea that once the Jailer wins, they will be able to leave)
Once the arbiter was KO'ed and their plan was set in action, Cartel Ve, or at least the group in the Maw, was dumped by the Jailer. Ve'nari betrayed the rest of his group to stay alive.
To Cartel Ve, she is a dangerous witness who could blow the lid on their dealings with the Jailer, something the rest of the Shadowlands would not look kindly to. To the Jailer, she simply knows to much about his plans.
One of the best characters in the expansion. i have my doubts. Will she betray us in 9.1 or 9.2? It would be a nice plot twist if it's we who betray her
great now we are married to a robot-ghost wife that´s gonna get us killed
I mean, the obvious answer as to why the note was removed, would be Blizzard deciding there is only 1 Maw Walker.
As always the nobleman the champion of azeroth keeps us up thank you for your effort maw walker .
Who is Ven’ari?
The usage of the word "mortal" in this expansion is just so... weird. I mean, there was something like "we have a living mortal in our midst" and now Ve'nari calls Darion, a freaking undead person, mortal. Is it some new perception of reality? If you are capable of dying, it doesn't matter whether you live or are undead?
Great video. Even though I'm not wowing right now I still enjoy your videos. Keep posting.
I love her voice
Aysha Selim is a gift. In fact, she also voices Ana in Overwatch :)
All I hear is Ana's voice actor from Overwatch :3
Same here. As soon as she began speaking, I realized. “Wait a minute… That’s Ana!”
I know the maw is supposed to be basically hell but I have so little interest in ever going there such a pain in the ass
Sounds like hell is doing it's job if you don't wanna go there then.
It's really funny hearing Bolvar sass Ve'Nari and having such an angry reaction of "YOU SHUTTUP BOLVAR, VE'NARI IS AMAZING"
I also like the idea of there being multiple Maw Walkers acknowledged within the lore. Also that some get captured and tortured; perhaps this is how we lose stygia when we die?
To be continued in 9.1: Rule 8.
Maybe Ve'nari knows "too much" about the Arbiter's current predicament
I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't surprise me if her former cartel was involved in the Jailer's plot...a "threat from within" kind of situation. That has been the running theme of Shadowlands.
Dang you know she’s amazing but also gotta give credit to the writers too I bet they had her in mind when they were writing the character in some regard
Personally, I think the horror in reliving the burning of teldrassil was not the horrors therein
But to have to do that awfully dull quest 115 times in a row. That would break anyones spirit
If you want to make another epic story for characters. I would like to suggest the story of Sargeras, the fallen titan and the master of the burning legion, from classic to Legion. Just a suggestion.
Their isn’t much to tell,, he awoke, locked up demons on prison planet/plane of existence, he slew a planet that was fully corrupted, betrayed and mortally wounded the titans, freed the demons, went on a crusade, invaded Azeroth by way of the First War, lost, invaded by way of an Avatar, lost to Aegwynn, his essence entered her pregnant womb and started manipulating Medivh, got released into the Nether when Medivh got killed, sat out the second and Third War and then wanted to take over the Well of Eternity again but was stopped by his siblings only to stab Azeroth, that’s pretty much it
Oh I forget he gave Illidan his powers but other than that he wasn’t really much of a deal
@@JamailvanWestering Also its pointless to tell the story of a well known character. Who doesnt know his story anyways ? I'd prefer to hear the lore about other lesser known characters
3:34 what amulet?
What is this! I’m reporting this video to the Brokers in Oribos!
:P
You never met someone named Ve'nari (mind trick)
I am surprised Griftah is not already part of the cartels or even their leader
I can't wait for the patch the releases rule 34
She’s tied with Gorak Tul, Flameweaver Koegler and Sindragosa for the best voice.
To be continued in 9.3: Rule 34
no...please no... i think there is already a very small amount of broker r34 but still...no
I'm pretty sure the Brokers inside Torghast are of cartel Ve, because of the naming scheme of each cartel.
yes, you don't need the to tell, it is in their names already, kind of like asian surnames. My guess is they were part of Ve'nari's initial expedition that got captured.
@@Lovyenn Yep. That would make sense if they were part of her expedition.
What are all the druid forms there???
FINALLY SOMEONE DID IT
What do you call the way they talk?
Ve'nari sold her comrades out, that's why she knows what happens when the Jailer has his attention on you
She just sounds like a female Werner Herzog.
The first rule about Ve'nari is you don't talk about Ve'nari. The second rule of Ve'nari is YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT VE'NARI.
Yo Nobbel! Who is the "jailer" figure we see behind the flying Sylvanas in the shadowlands announcement trailer? that's NOT the jailer model we see here...
The devs literally did a Statement on this: they changed the design because they liked the new one better
@@jameswayne2907
Ohhh thanks, had no idea :)
Btw the maw brokers thats on certin floors, i bought the thingy that allow you to derp the elite npc's you encounter there and i accidently used it and killed the broker. Idk if thats a bug or meant to happen. =P There in the maw so they are there for a reason thats asoming they dident get yeeted in there when shit broke.
Not a bug but intended, it dropped a brokers satchel after all no?
@@DutchWeebChronicle I dont remember. But a npc with a green name label is friendly so how can that item just kill them like they where hostile? We can ONLY attack and kill hostile creatures. And that device they sell in the torgast tower will kill the brokers instantly. That means all brokers are our enamy. But that dont make sense to me so why?
15:25 Wow, that's really cool. So wish it remained in live.
I almost want to say that it's an indirect reference to the SCP Foundation, since the note is structured in a similar way to one of their articles.
Do you mean it is structured semi scientific? That would be a nod to science.
Krexus died without a cutscene or anything? ROFL RIP WOW!
The first time you meet venari isn't in maldraxus
i want Ve'nari to betray me and then come back for me
So far in shadowlands the brokers get my interest the most seeing as so little i known about then and have demonstrated to be fairly dangerous and ruthless should the situation demand it
she is symmetra from overwatch
Brokeback Mountain! Get it?
I think her whole race is split between those serving the Jailer and those against him and maybe her Cartel switched sides and she was then hunted, together with the others who did not accept this change.
I didn know ana from overwatch was in wow
Rule34 confirmed for final patch
Brokers remind me of lotus walkers :D
Pretty sure ve'rayn is just blizzards way of collecting player feedback
i don't know about any ve'nari but what i want to know is are brokers mortals or are they 'dead'
i think they are mortals, idk
Do you think she is empowering the amulet the player give her?
Another hearth of Azeroth? God pls no
@@ShamriCayia Heart of the Maw :D Brand new and shiny
Me and my friends just call her Ana
🧡🧡🧡
Goblins become Brokers in the afterlife?
Most likely Ethereals or their race...
A question for everyone? Do you really trust Ve'nari?
The Mafia doesn't exist.
And neither does Ve'nari.
"nobody escapes the maw" but it seems no one gives a fuck.
I just call her Mira Han broker lol
these guys need to be related to the ethereal in outlands and argus right? same kind of tech, similar body structure etc etc
I have a theory that they are the souls of Ethereals.
@@HavocHounds1988 well it almost seem like they are maw walkers themselves, perhaps they got trapped there escaping the void lords?
@@stumpe9662 Except they can't leave the Maw it seems.
@@HavocHounds1988 there's some in bastion I think, the broker lady
@@stumpe9662 Right Brokers are in each zone. But according to the caretakers they come from an unknown realm in the Shadowlands which implies they are souls that got assigned their own realm. The similarities to the Ethereals are just too many for it to be a coincidence. I think them being the souls of Ethereals would make a lot of sense instead of ones that just escaped. And from what we know about the Ethereals they used to have more humanoid forms than what they became after the attack on K'resh. So if the Brokers were somehow just Ethereals that escaped it wouldn't make sense that they seem to have no actual physical form. Them being the souls of said race would make more sense since they already didn't have a physical form anymore.
Is this the same voice actor that does Ana in Overwatach?
I think so
She is
She has a very unusual accent. When is it? Scottish? Irish? Australian? South African? Sounds VERY unusual to a non native english speaker that knows some english..
Egyptian. Her VA is Aysha Selim
Damn this guy sounds so dutch
Who?
Seeing other mortals in SL makes no sense. Seeing other mawwalkers? sure its cannon there are several and i do prefer that we are not an all powerful medan like hero.
But even if the text is funny for griftah but living people seeing the afterlife breaks the concept of just how are you going to live normaly if you can see and learn what can be done to influence the outcome.
Just have the maincharacters that were abducted don't add random fruit vendor from shattrath wants to sell you his wares.
Ana?
And again our character literally creates another future villian or the events that’s will cause the next patch or Expansion, makes ya wonder if we’re the hero or villian lol
I am pretty good with accents but I cannot pin hers. Anyone know?
Aysha Selim is Egyptian.
@@corgiw7281 Awesome thanks for the reply. I love her voice. Best in the game.
Why are the brokers even a thing when Etherals exist...? It's like the people writing the lore don't even know what already exist in their own universe.
Why are you referring to Runecarver as "they"?
We love a gender neutral lore master!
Because we don't know who the runecarver is.
@@meltharion316 It's Primus, and that's a he.
@@gladjohnson3117 I'm pretty sure it's the Primus too, has that been confirmed?
@@meltharion316 Ask yourself a different question, who else can he be? Master crafter, similar physique, had schematics of one very important mourneblade in his head. It IS him.
