    These stretches are perfect! My only suggestion would be to ditch the music. 😁 As stated, most of us have a headache when we come here… so it’s nice to just hear you talk and watch the stretch motion.

      When you have cervicogenic headaches it's from muscles and stiffness and music doesn't affect those like a typical headache would. These are geared towards those types of headaches and not your average one.
      I've had ramshorn headaches for 9 years so I can speak from experience. Osteopathic manipulative treatment is best for these too.

    Just a suggestion... If you're going to have music going in your video please have your voice be louder than it... People coming here with headache problems don't truly want to try and focus on a voice vs music... Other than that, thank you.

    Thank you! Found these after having weeks of pain on the right side of my face and jaw. TMJ exercises haven’t helped so thought my neck maybe the cause. Searched and found this. Feel much better after doing them through once. Quietly and cautiously confident.🙏🏻❤️💫⚡️🤗

    I definitely reccomend the doorway pectoralis major stretch for anybody who has shoulder pain as a primary source for Cervicogenic headaches. Works 9/10 times for me.

    My headaches are so bad that doctors tested for temporal artertis, then said cluster headaches. I worked out that I believe it comes from my neck as there is always neck ache involved. It happens when I am a couple of hours into my day at work and I have to use a work station that isn't set up correctly, or when I'm looking at my phone while I'm lying down can trigger it. These exercises help.

    I have EDS and a whiplash injury that lead to neck instability c0-c7 and ToS, and these stretches gave almost instant reduction in my cervicogenic headache (on day 6 of it being real bad now). Especially the first one and the door one seemed helpful for me. 10/10 thank you so much! You've got a new subscriber for sure.

    • @lkelley5708
      @lkelley5708 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure if it is permanent. I’m not a doctor, but I’ve been dealing with it for years. Imaging found arthritis in my neck. Been on all kinds of meds. Only thing that helps is physical therapy exercises. I have to do them consistently. If I slack and don’t do them daily, I suffer significantly for it. I had a physical therapist for several months that taught me the stretches. All similar to these stretches. It works, but it is a long term commitment for sure.

      You could have Occipital Neuralgia. That’s what I have and I have horrible headaches/migraines. Starts at the top of spine/base of neck and radiates on ONE SIDE ( goes up the back of my head and behind my ear, into my eyes. They told me it was Occipital Neuralgia - at first they did a radio ablation ( made it WORSE - I wanted to die ) then a doctor said it was indeed ON but he needed to remove scar tissue. They did that and headaches got better for a while only to return. I believe I have cervicogenic headaches from neck, spine or muscle issues.

      yup. I have fibromyalgia so all my muscles are tight and when it comes to my neck and scalp, it doesn't take much tension to trigger a cervicogenic headache. I've almost been to the hospital for how bad they've gotten sometimes and occasionally they make me vomit. I have migraines so I know the difference - but I've struggled with these headaches for years. Finally trying out some exercises for them.

      If you truly have cervicogenic headaches, the noise shouldn't be an issue. Cervicogenic headaches are from muscle stiffness, posture etc and are muscle based not tension based. So if you truly do have these headaches, the music shouldn't be your issue. If it is, I'd look into other types of headaches. I've had these for 9 years and music and noise is never an issue in making them worse.

      If you truly have cervicogenic headaches, related to muscle problems and stiffness, the music shouldn't be an issue. This video is made for those specific headaches. I've had these for 9 years and have been officially diagnosed with them. Music and noise is never an issue and doesn't make it worse. Ramshorn headaches stem from bad posture, muscle stiffness, muscle spasms, etc. not from tension or noise. If that's your issue, look into migraines and not cervicogenic headaches.
