    Looks great! Been in concrete for many years. Sometimes we fill the wall half way then come back and top it off. Giving the bottom half even a half hour to set up while you go the rest of the way around takes allot stress off the forms.

    With no vibrating tools but you're guys compacting the concrete carefully and thoroughly , i think the result will be very nice👍

      You can tap the forms with a hammer ⚒️ to get it compacted

    If you have not already done so, build a funnel pour box. It basically is a knock together v shaped box that fits just inside and on top of the forms. It channels the incoming concrete so it stays in the form. It just slides down the form as needed.

    Im not surprised you didn't use a footer, not many do these days. That wall will settle pretty good over the years.

    Aren't you wasting money on buying so much wood instead of renting wood frames or metal ones for this? Aren't these for one time use? Or are you going to reuse these wood in building cabin?

    Needs more support on the bottom inside back wall. Loose dirt won't hold that well.

    Very impressive form prep. Lots of wood for sure. The “deform” must be also quite some work as well. Did you reuse the wood?

    Martin one thing I have seen on other concrete pours that might be of interest to you is they always have an extra form built, maybe in front of an out building, maybe where you are storing wood, anywhere you think, Man I wish I had concrete pad here. They build a form so if there is any left over concrete it can be poured in that form since you paid for every inch of concrete in the truck.

    The forms that you built our an Overkill I know concrete guys that do not fill forms that secure. So yes I think they will hold up quite well.👍💯

    You can remove the top brackets holding the jbolts before completely finishing the concrete and avoid having to grind or chip those areas.
