Fitting universal speedometer to my Lexmoto Venom 125 "Mavis".... don't do it!

I fitted a set of universal clocks to my Venom only to find out they're faulty, and going by the Amazon reviews, I'm not the only one finding this. Can't program them and they won't register any speed, with the supplied pickup or the standard fitted one!
Spent the good part of a day rewiring them and modified the origional bracket to fit the new clocks. But these are for the bin!

I just had an issue with a similar product...
In the instruction and in the product video, they hold button B to enter setup mode. I couldn't do it... I tried all variations.
Eventually, it worked with button A as it should with B. But only once... that time... at least I managed to do the setup.

You may need to swap the wires on the speedo round to get it to work i had to do that on a bike
The lexmoto tekken clocks are nice im using them on my yam build
I have 2 useable headlight covers 1 blue and white 1 black and gray but tbh i think a honda grom headlight would look nice on 1 of these the 1 with 2 lights 1 on top of the other

Also abit cheaky but if your just going to bin the clocks any chanece i could get them to have a messabout with them at all please😂😂

I did check, and they're all correct. Besides, it didn't work with the pre-fitted magnetic pickup. Even then I couldn't get into the setup menu to calibrate anything.

Hi, I fitted one of these to my cb500. The code you entered to access the features was 750. I'll try and find the link to a helpful TH-cam tutorial that I watched that walked you through the process. I only took mine off as it failed after 2 years. Makes interesting reading on the MOT history.😂

@@stephenclarke9026 I've tried every option to access the menu, nothing has worked. It's not so much as the lack of a code, but the inability to bring up the option to even enter the code. Thanks for trying to help though. I do appreciate it!

In fact, the bike itself is junk. So this gauge suits him.
