Excellent explanation. Worked right out the box. The wiring colors matched this video. Just wonder how to stop the tank gauge from flashing as I have no sending unit in the tank. Maybe use a resistor (between 32 and 566 Ohm) between the Blue/White wire and ground. Any comments are great - just have to experiment with that.
Great movie Do you know if it is possible to program initial odo mileage? If my bike has 25k Miles, is it possible on this speedo to program initially 25k on display?
Hello! I need your help! I have an MMB speedometer with digital display for the kilometers ,to my harley 79 and i have a serious problem.I start the ride if i push the button to reset trip 1 or trip 2 when i turn the bike off and start again the speedometer loses all the measurements!!!!! Today i started with 6.642 klm and after i reset trip at the gas station i had 7531 klm when i reached home.It loses the measurements when i push the button.I cant understand if its a wiring problem or the speedometer is faulty
Hey, its probably cause you dont have a wire straight from the battery + connected to the meter, this is needed to store the data even when ignition key is turned off
Hiya. Thank you for the video. Mine always stays on even if the key is pulled out. Can you explain to me what i do with the Black positive wire. Thanks
Speedo seems to be a dodgy one for me I've set distance and amount of magnets, it's wired up. Anything else I should be looking out for/common mistakes? Never seen one of these had no instructions wired it up with a multimeter as oem dash was also missing. Ty for all tips if you have any for me 👍👍
I've had the same issue with mine, it wasn't working. After many headaches it came down to the magnets. Only one side will active the sensor. Try turning them round and see how you get on
@@Skummer428interesting. My bike just went in for MOT and now the speedo is jumping all over the place. Its had the same magnets glued on for 4 years. I just picked up some ridiculously strong ones and I’m going to replace the magnets and test - I’ll be back!
you've gotta add a wire into the 9 Pin connector leading all the way down to the coil and attach the wire to the part of the coil lead with the Black/Yellow wire going to it. that's where the tach will pick up the RPM of the GY6 engine. you'll also have to set it up for the amount of pistons and stroke like he did in the video above
@@hre2motorltd178how would you do that? I’m having issues where I installed a new battery, filled my tank up and now the only time the fuel gauge tries to work is when I’m going down the road. Which makes sense for the resistance when the motor is under load.
I assume the way it works is it recognizes the spark signal as 1 revolution since its a 4 stroke engine(ignition timing). Setting it to 2 stroke just halves the count.
Great video!! If you're looking for alternative ways to mount and enclose this type of speedo checkout the RevRender Garage video on this exact speedo conversion. th-cam.com/video/v8J9FTuublo/w-d-xo.html

Have you figured it out?
Like your video I was wanting to see it from start to finish but I think you put enough info for me to figure it out on my end ty youngen
So glad I found this video. I thought I would be able to configure with the manual... I was so wrong
How you do the magnet / sensor if you don't have rotor? What brand is this one? On Amazon like 4 different brand looks a same..
How do you get the gas gauge to work when your gas sensor has 2 wires ?
Hello
What does the black connect to? That goes to ignition key?
How do you adjust the speed
hi, what is the small light on the end of the speed sensor cable for at the wheel end
Is there a wiring diagram from this what colour wires are for what part of the clocks
one sweet as tach... think this is doable on tw200?
thanks
Great movie

currently it is unavailable to set the initial mileage
how do i use the tyre circumeference mode?

Hey mate I have installed this just having one problem when I accelerate fuel lvl going to empty flashing any ideas??
Very practical and helpful, not full of bull like some, excellent
thank you
@@hre2motorltd178 if you use the roundy sensor number 2 that aliexpress sells without magnets what setting must be entered on gauge?

I’m wondering the same. I think it’s suppose to go to the ignition switch.
Yes ignition switch wire
Is this working good still after all the time you have owned it?
I had issues with mine, the digital UI looks grounded and blinking

*edit: I think the magnets that come with the speedo aren’t very strong and in conjunction with heat from the disc it can cause issues.
Where du u get 1360 from? In menu 1???
Are you using the stock fuel sensor or the one from a Met ?
Any fuel sensor will work as long as the resistance is matched, you need to adjust the resistance from 32-566 Ω
How far from center did you mount the magnet? Trying to figure out how to set the speed but mine is way off. Did you use 2 magnets or just one?
2-3mm gap between the sensor and the magnet, we usually use 2 magnets.
I cannot get the tach to work no matter what i do, im running signal to black abd yellow wire from cdi box, negative ans positive are correct

Great video, will help heaps, guess when the permanent 12v is disconnected the wheel dia and other info will have to be re entered? Cheers Rich
If you haven't figured it out by now, the constant power wire powers the memory. Unplugging seems to reset all settings

How do you connect the gear indicator cables?
Sounds like you are trying to hookup cables("analog") to something digital.
What is the ppr of the honda ruckus?
Majority of bikes on average have 5 gears so the make it to fit the major variety of the majority

Yes

How did you hook up the odometer?
please just follow the manual
Why do mine keep on resetting when turned off.
Me too lol
Anybody have an issue with adding magnets and the odometer not saving ?
Can you please post a wiring diagram?
Hi, we have updated the instruction, these will be more detailed,www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07WW3L3Y8
I followed this video but my tachometer always reset the 1st menu!! can you teach me why ?
Solution: 1sf menu cant be over 2600 type correctly
thanks! It works now !!

There’s no way that tachometer reading is accurate
How'd you say so
Ive been trying to figure out how i can make it accurate. Cant find it anywhere sadly
@Machinekamer457it should be set up for two cylinder in the settings . It looks like the tach is off by 1k rpms
It won’t work right for a one cylinder
Odometer and speedometer should run together
Speak a little more softer, I'm still awake
