    Always glad to see fellow anglers have a great time fishing. Fishing a bait on a flyline squid or sardine is an excellent technique, but be aware,if your line is coming off your reel (especially with squid)that fish is hooked!
    It's also great you switched over to a two hook dropper loop😊

      Yeah that was my first time flylining squid, I had no idea, I thought that was the squid swimming away... good to know 😅

    What terminal tackle did you use? Hook size and line (25#, 30# or 40#?) what else would you take for an island trip?

      It's actually a penn fathom 2 level wind. I use a lefty reel, model number is 30LWLH

    LTrain would have brought that fish up with his bass rod.

    What rod did you pair the Penn and Lexa? Thank you

    • @cheethoe
      @cheethoe  ปีที่แล้ว

      On the Penn Fathom II I had the Okuma CJ-C-801MH. On the Lexa 400 I had a Turners Californian Tri-Helix CTX-767MH.
