    No Drilling into the Hull. Swivel Seat. Great Project. Any leaking into the Hull from any of the other drill holes like on the rails?

      Thanks. The only minimal water in the hull from any mods. A large sponge was enough to sop it up.

      Where does the water pool and where do you remove it? I ask because I fish in the Ocean and choppy Bay waters. I often get swamped.

    • @Aksmaniyak

      It didn't pool. It was just damp inside.

    Good clean job. Can’t wait to see the sea trail. Do you have any worries about the way the boat/yak will handle and perform with all this extra? Again, good job my friend.

      Thanks! I'm not concerned about the added weight because I will still be below the max capacity even with me. I was careful to distribute the weight across the entire hull which should really help. But, you never know until you take it out and test it.

    I built tips found it to be much more tippy what did you do to counteract that

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was tippy the first time I took it out on the water but I became used to it very fast. It was very responsive and stable.

    How tall is that seat from the floor? I am building a similar skiff from the ground up and trying to determine a safe seat height

      The lower (butt) section is about 10" above the deck.

    I bought exactly the same boat. Hero skiff 130. Can you make me a seat mount exactly like yours. I just want the seat mount

      It isn't that difficult. The video has all the info you need.

    what about putting the lower forward support bar up to the top so you can slide the seat back and open the hatch?

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could do that but I wanted the seat to be secure and not move when on the water.

    Anyway you could build a motorized power pole?

    • @Aksmaniyak
      @Aksmaniyak  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It could be done but I don't think it would be very practical. Even the actuator motor lift is not worth the cost or build space in my opinion.

    Great build and video!
    What would all the parts cost today 3/2024? Just a rough estimate would be helpful.
    Thanks!!

      The prices are still pretty close to the original build.
