    Who knew !! I'm with you. I have been collecting shells all my life, and it has never occurred to me to ask can you roast them 😁 I love videos that show me ways to use my shells in my life, rather than just have them hidden away. And now I know how to create replicas for jewellery where I don't have to risk destroying favourite or rare shells with drilling and wearing. Thank you Claire.

    Awesomeness! Amazing molds!! Not something I’ve wanted to explore but watching you do it makes me sooo curios.. now I have to get some going. Idk if you watch Robert Tolone channel.. the guru of creating molds for 50 years. I’ll try to find a video & post it here in a little bit. What I can tell you is about the shells with questionable holes or surfaces - paint them with sticky wax and they’ll cast perfectly fine without any issues of filling up the insides or shells adhering to the rubber. Thanks for sharing Claire, it’s always a pleasure seeing you and all your beautiful creations 🌹🌹🌹

    These are stunning Claire 😍 I love seashells but I don't live near any beaches. I wonder if using a coat of UVResin on the inside of the shell with a hundred kittle holes in it would be enough to close the holes but not see it from the outside? Or seal with E6000 glue? And then the polymer clay. The copper mica is beautiful but ur right haha it was like something out of Alien I was expecting Sigourney Weaver to come out 😂 another beautiful job though. Xx

    • @ClairesCraftyCorner
      @ClairesCraftyCorner 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      heyyyy Paul ohhh right? haaaa Sigourney Weaver for sure ! UV Resin as far as I know hates silicone .. so if one single drop got through the holes ot would stick for life or just not cure but how amazing would it be to mould that one :)
