These are adorable love love love the purple!! I think that shimmery mica powder would look stunning on these too!! Love them

    I also use the wax people use on jesmonite and it's used for butcher blocks too. I rub it in with a paint brush so I get in all the nooks and crannies. Make sure to rub it up and over the edge it works wonderful.

    When you make them make them with resin and then do it the other way like you did with the water ones. I would think that would work. And that would save your molds if you're worried about them getting messed up. Every one have a great Spooktacular crafting day.

    I recognize the black mould - It's plastic which is why it didn't stick to the silicone. Very brave of you to go ahead and try this! Let us know if you try it with the Finnabair moulds.

    Hi,great to hear about the release spray, as Ive thought about ice cube trays chocolate trays ect. Luv how you tested on different silicones too. Do all these work if I use craft resin? Thanx for sharing, they look great. Take care. Luv to u xo

    Love the idea of doing this!
    Only thing I'd say is if you don't use let's resin silicone, be careful not to use tin cure silicone or one that's too higher shore hardness, or they might not stick very well when you use as inlays 🙃

    I would love to work with resin but can't because the smell makes me ill, but noticed that the let's resin you are using is non toxic I just want to ask if there is any chemical smell at all of it before I buy some and maybe waste money if I can't use them.

  • @MsHeebiejeebies
    @MsHeebiejeebies ปีที่แล้ว

    To see if you mould is suitable, couldn't you just put a bit of silicon on the side of the mould or even on the side that you don't pour the resin. Wait and see if that sticks?

    Hi Claire, is silicon, like resin, when mix A and B, produced toxic fume that need to wear respirator gear when mixing it?

    • @ClairesCraftyCorner
      @ClairesCraftyCorner 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Heyyyy Joanne - I believe there are no toxic fumes with silicone - but I do wear gloves usually ( sometimes not ) but best to wear gloves. I do not wear my respirator when using silicone x
