We were competing in the same magic competition in 2015 in Finland and I remember your act. The routine was superb and I am glad that I could see it again at least in this format as I have never had a chance to attend FISM. Good job!
Every magician on here knows the moves individually. But I don't care how he did this, but do care how WELL he performed this. Beautiful routine !.. enough said.
The couple of times I saw a palmed or pocketed ball, a moment later I was completely lost again and the magic was back- a testament to skill and an exquisitely crafted routine. Loved it!
This is one of those acts people will just come back to because of how magical it feels. Sure, camera caught a thing or two. It's irrelevant. The routine is so beautiful, magical, polished that you legit just want to enjoy. Every single time you transumted an item, my jaw dropped. Incredible act, well done!
Agreed. It's one of the great things slight of hand. Even if you know exactly what was done, it's still amazing to watch. I love watching routines like this because there are so many ways to be creative and surprise even the most knowledgeable. Several "I should have seen that coming, but didn't" moments!
This is easily my favorite kind of magic. The kind where you know exactly what's going on, but it's just so polished and executed so well that you PREFER to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the mastery of the moves. Like watching Van Gogh paint. This is so much better than the acts that stuff 5 minutes of nothing and fluff into one easy to spot gimmick.
Tack Jacob! En fantastisk och innovativ akt. Du har skapat magi som verkligen förbluffar. Vilken stor talang du är. Lycka till med ditt framtida magiska skapande. Jag vill se mer av det. Ken Hardy🎩
One of the best routines I’ve seen in a long long long time. Just fabulous. Everyone has been doing a cup and ball routine or chop cup but this beyond amazing. Congrats!
What a routine! this is easily the best Cup & Ball routine I have seen and I have seen many many performances over the years, as Penn said "it has everything"
I have seen many magical acts and performances over the years. This was a magical journey. Multiple times throughout I thought "Alright, this is the cap. This is the end..." only for you to continue. Absolutely captivating.
After watching 10 seasons of Fool Us, I have to say that your act is among the best I have ever seen, I am very impressed with you and your talent, keep up the good work, you are a big magic star ✨️ 😃
I knew the cup would be back to plastic at the end. I was watching for it, and hoping for it. I have no idea when it happened, and I'm not going to spoil that magic for me. Very nice performance. :)
I first thought it was unfair for the camera angle to hide what happened, but then I had to admit, I would not have been looking, so only a replay should have helped... so I would be the one using camera tricks, not them
At the beginning I saw a little this and that and thought hmm, but in the end i was totally blown! There was just so many elements in that performance, just wonderful!
Hokey smokes, you sure fooled me. I may have seen a point or three where something happened...but I don't know what. And all the rest of it...just wonderful. Really good.
incredible performance! To take on a trick they know so well takes courage. I thought, 'I know how that's done'. then, forgot it was a distraction. this happend over and over.
This is some seriously masterful sleight of hand. I caught a few of them, but some of them I can't see how you're doing it even at 0.25x speed! That in itself is Magic!
He didn’t fool them or even an amateur like me but DAMN! That was amazing! I know how it was all done, but then I know how a car works. But don’t call me if you need it to be fixed.
The one thing that really threw me off was the vanishing water after it was poured. Among the other tricks, the props here are the real magic. I'd love to see how a bunch of these things are actually designed, really beautiful stuff.
it's difficult for me to see cups and balls without getting bored, but you sir, kept surprising me again and again! and the music ads a really nice feel too :) wonderful act :)
Thank you for watching! 🙂 There's no editing out, they just changed camera angle. It will look the same live. It was one of the hardest thing to solve when I developed the act.
@@jacobschenstromwhat are you talking about? There is clearly no ball at 2.55 and it appears on top of the glass after you are done rotating the stick
Bra jobbat Jacob. Fastän vi känner till lite om denna här tricken pga internet så var det en massa saker jag inte kunde se hur du gjorde det. Du kanske inte lurade Pen and Teller men du lurade oss. Plus det var magisk rutin och hela presentationen. Jag blev imponerad iallafall
Like most of us I have some idea of how the basics are performed (of cups and balls, not, for me, this trick) but as a result I am hyper-focused waiting for those moves to happen. Which made me think, Oh no, if I do that too much, I'll be fooled by not looking at the other places where things might happen. It doesn't matter what I do or where I look, no matter the number of times I watch or even at what speed. I have no idea how at least six of these things are possible lol Very enchanting
There are two things sure in Fool Us: 1. No one will ever fool P&T with any form of cups and balls trick, 2. P&T will always enjoy any form of cups and balls trick to the fullest on their show😁 Great routine, or more like set of routines, so many complicated acts mixed together and performed really well! Great job!
There is a continuity error in the performance. At 2:56 the glass is empty and has nothing on top, but after the camera cut there is a ball lying on top of the glass. Something was cut in the editing.
Thank you for watching! 🙂 There's no editing out, they just changed camera angle. It will look the same live. It was one of the hardest thing to solve when I developed the act.
You can't cut the camera away at 02:58 when something just appears on top of the glass! WTF Fool Us editors? There were a couple of other unnecessary camera cuts.
Hi, thanks for watching! Nothing is cut out. They just change camera angel. I looks the same as it will look live. Of course if they wouldn't changed the camera angel you would see the method the second time. That's the thing with video :)
@@jacobschenstromBS that nothing was cut out. Being offscreen counts as "cut out". Better to just ignore the comments than actually compound the problem by lying about it. I get your point about the 2nd time, but again, don't lie to us. It's very clear what happened there. Ref. Al Goshman.

that ikea table was a good code word for "gimmick table". very smooth sleight of hand, i like the ones where even tho i know how it's done, i still didn't see anything i shouldn't have. like how you swapped the balls under clear glass. also there was some sleight of cup going on, that metal cup was definetely gimmick, that's why you never showed inside of it and always carefully placed it so nobody can see.
I hate catching a little bit of *something* but still not knkwing exactly what happened. Like that red light flash. Dont know if that was supposed to have been seen or not, but it feels like it had something to do with the trick.
Thanks for watching! Yes there's a red light flash. It has nothing do to with the method but to create a little effect when the ball changes color. In the TV light you can't see it to well though :)
