This is one of those acts people will just come back to because of how magical it feels.
Sure, camera caught a thing or two. It's irrelevant.
The routine is so beautiful, magical, polished that you legit just want to enjoy.
Every single time you transumted an item, my jaw dropped. Incredible act, well done!
Thank you very much for your kind words :)
Agreed. It's one of the great things slight of hand. Even if you know exactly what was done, it's still amazing to watch. I love watching routines like this because there are so many ways to be creative and surprise even the most knowledgeable. Several "I should have seen that coming, but didn't" moments!
This is easily my favorite kind of magic. The kind where you know exactly what's going on, but it's just so polished and executed so well that you PREFER to suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the mastery of the moves. Like watching Van Gogh paint. This is so much better than the acts that stuff 5 minutes of nothing and fluff into one easy to spot gimmick.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it!
The BEST fool is at 3:00 where the ping pong ball appears on top of the glass cup without Jacob coming anywhere close to it! XD
I first thought it was unfair for the camera angle to hide what happened, but then I had to admit, I would not have been looking, so only a replay should have helped... so I would be the one using camera tricks, not them
that was camera trick or at least they changed camera angle so you wouldn't see it .. not sure why tho, kind of lame if you ask me.
Looks like an impossible trick as he moves away and.. it just wouldn’t work. Hmm. A double take and cut?
Yes 😂😂😂😂
Every magician on here knows the moves individually. But I don't care how he did this, but do care how WELL he performed this. Beautiful routine !.. enough said.
We were competing in the same magic competition in 2015 in Finland and I remember your act. The routine was superb and I am glad that I could see it again at least in this format as I have never had a chance to attend FISM. Good job!
That was a great convention!
Im glad you remembered my routine even if a lot has changed since then.
Thank you! 😀
The couple of times I saw a palmed or pocketed ball, a moment later I was completely lost again and the magic was back- a testament to skill and an exquisitely crafted routine. Loved it!
Incredible, the best slight of hand Ive seen to date, this was beautiful....pure magic.
Thank you so much for your kind words 😀❤️
He didn’t fool them or even an amateur like me but DAMN! That was amazing! I know how it was all done, but then I know how a car works. But don’t call me if you need it to be fixed.
Thanks for watching. I'm glad you liked it! 🙂
That was mesmerizing! Such a wonderful act!!
Thank you very much! 😀
Finally an act I enjoyed watching!
Thank you. I appreciate you did :)
Wonderful Jacob! Such a polished and great act, and artist! ✨
Thank you Vilgot :)
I remember seeing it live at the FISM in Rimini many years ago, such a breathtaking act !Still baffles me completely ❤
Thank you very much for your kind words :)
Tack Jacob! En fantastisk och innovativ akt. Du har skapat magi som verkligen förbluffar. Vilken stor talang du är. Lycka till med ditt framtida magiska skapande. Jag vill se mer av det. Ken Hardy🎩
Tack så mycket för de fina orden. Kul att du gillade akten :)
After watching 10 seasons of Fool Us, I have to say that your act is among the best I have ever seen, I am very impressed with you and your talent, keep up the good work, you are a big magic star ✨️ 😃
Thank you! I'm very glad you liked it :)
I knew the cup would be back to plastic at the end. I was watching for it, and hoping for it. I have no idea when it happened, and I'm not going to spoil that magic for me. Very nice performance. :)
Thank you. Im glad they magic worked :)
GREAT JOB!!
I love this routine from the first time we compete together! Really nice to see your success! Congratulations brother!
Thank you so much! It's been great to compete with you over the years!. You are always very kind and helpful!
This is some seriously masterful sleight of hand. I caught a few of them, but some of them I can't see how you're doing it even at 0.25x speed! That in itself is Magic!
Har så många frågor efter denna. Well done!!
This was really something. Really well done! I loved every second of it.
Thank you very much !
I'm glad you liked it 😀
Loved this act, one of those tricks you might have seen it multiple times before but the execution was so well timed, I would watch it again and again
Thank you very much for your kind words! :)
incredible performance!
To take on a trick they know so well takes courage.
I thought, 'I know how that's done'. then, forgot it was a distraction. this happend over and over.
I have seen many magical acts and performances over the years. This was a magical journey. Multiple times throughout I thought "Alright, this is the cap. This is the end..." only for you to continue. Absolutely captivating.
Brilliant!!! Great act!
I was certain you weren't going to fool them with cups and balls but it's still a wonderful act! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Mesmerising!!! I was totally captivated!! 🤩
Thank you very much Harriet! :)
What a performance! Well done. Loved every second of it. 😮
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it :)
Sublime! As always ✨
Tusen tack! 😍
This was ot intended to fool them. It was 'just' to showcase his great art. Bravo!
Yeah they are hard to Fool 😅
Thank's for watching!
What a routine! this is easily the best Cup & Ball routine I have seen and I have seen many many performances over the years, as Penn said "it has everything"
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I'm really glad you liked it 😊
That was great to watch!
This was amazing!
that was amazingggg !!!!! i always want to see more magic trickss like thisss !! keep goinggg !!!!
Wow this blew my mind. Watching him, knowing he's doing sneaky stuff, rewinding and looking for it, and nothing there. Bloody amazing!
Thank you very much :)
Great magic with simple things. I loved it.❤❤
This is the best kind of magic. I caught most off the moves, and it didn't diminish the act one bit. It was beautiful regardless.
The one thing that really threw me off was the vanishing water after it was poured. Among the other tricks, the props here are the real magic. I'd love to see how a bunch of these things are actually designed, really beautiful stuff.
Wonderful piece Jacob! Lovely!
Thank you my friend. And thanks for all the help!
Så otroligt vackert och magiskt!
Tack Tord :)
it's difficult for me to see cups and balls without getting bored, but you sir, kept surprising me again and again!
and the music ads a really nice feel too :)
wonderful act :)
Thank you! I'm glad you gave it a chance even it's was a cups & balls 😀
I had the benefit to work with 2 really talented musicians for this act.
One of the best routines I’ve seen in a long long long time. Just fabulous. Everyone has been doing a cup and ball routine or chop cup but this beyond amazing. Congrats!
Thank you very much. I appreciate that you liked it :)
Beautiful act… and I remember its predecessor routine that you were doing years ago with the teacup. Gorgeous through and through!
Väl gjort. Fantastisk rutin. Du foolade mig många gånger 🤩
Tack Christian! Vad kul att höra att du gillade den. 😀
Och stort grattis till din Trofé, grymt!
So, so good!
Thank you very much :)
Sjukt snyggt, helt fantastisk presentation.
Tack så mycket! 😀
Like most of us I have some idea of how the basics are performed (of cups and balls, not, for me, this trick) but as a result I am hyper-focused waiting for those moves to happen.
Which made me think, Oh no, if I do that too much, I'll be fooled by not looking at the other places where things might happen.
It doesn't matter what I do or where I look, no matter the number of times I watch or even at what speed. I have no idea how at least six of these things are possible lol
Very enchanting
Thank you very much. Im glad that I fooled you with some parts. 😀
Wonderful Act Jacob 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much! 🙂
This is sooooo nice to watch 😊😊😊
Thank you very much! 😊
2:52-3:01
When he lifted it for a split second
You see him walk away from it and no ball, when he spins the stick there is a ball.... something must have been edited out
The table
@@realfan26 exactly
3:37 , very very smooth
Hokey smokes, you sure fooled me. I may have seen a point or three where something happened...but I don't know what. And all the rest of it...just wonderful. Really good.
At the beginning I saw a little this and that and thought hmm, but in the end i was totally blown! There was just so many elements in that performance, just wonderful!
Pretty great ^^ Reminds me of Shin Lim's routine on Fool Us but this was cool with the cups & balls
Outstanding!!!!!!
Im glad you liked it. Thank a lot! 😀
That was really cool~!
Lots of camera cuts ruined an absolutely beautiful act.. Jacob is really good.. But the editors at Fool Us spoiled it this time.. 😬😬😬😬
I'm glad you liked my act! :)
Great performance!! Greetings from Greece!!
The white ball just appeared out of nowhere on the glass cup….🤔
Great tip!
There is a continuity error in the performance. At 2:56 the glass is empty and has nothing on top, but after the camera cut there is a ball lying on top of the glass. Something was cut in the editing.
Thank you for watching! 🙂
There's no editing out, they just changed camera angle.
It will look the same live. It was one of the hardest thing to solve when I developed the act.
brilliant act..ty
Your performance was flawless. I enjoyed the entire routine. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 😊👍✋️🪄✨️✨️✨️
Riktigt snyggt! Du ägde Jacob ❤
Tusen tack! 💕
An Amazing routine! Poetry in motion = emotion
Thank you for your kind words!
Great performance!
That was not a magic trick, it was real magic, you're that good 👏
En av mina nya favorit acts, riktigt bra !
Tusen tack! :)
Wow absolutely incredible
Thank you very much! 😀
There are two things sure in Fool Us: 1. No one will ever fool P&T with any form of cups and balls trick, 2. P&T will always enjoy any form of cups and balls trick to the fullest on their show😁 Great routine, or more like set of routines, so many complicated acts mixed together and performed really well! Great job!
Amazing Performance
Thank a lot. Im glad you liked it! :)
Bra jo
bbat Jacob!! väldigt kul att kolla på
Tusen tack! 😀
Very unique stage presence and style, and I found this captivating.
Thank you very much! 😀
love a good cup and balls routine. impressive sleight of hand sir
Beautiful and magical ⭐️
Thanks Håkan, and thank you for your help!
Fantastiskt!
Tack 🙂
that ikea table was a good code word for "gimmick table". very smooth sleight of hand, i like the ones where even tho i know how it's done, i still didn't see anything i shouldn't have. like how you swapped the balls under clear glass.
also there was some sleight of cup going on, that metal cup was definetely gimmick, that's why you never showed inside of it and always carefully placed it so nobody can see.
So beautiful magic ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Kjell! :)
New subscriber too 😊😊😊
Bra jobbat Jacob. Fastän vi känner till lite om denna här tricken pga internet så var det en massa saker jag inte kunde se hur du gjorde det. Du kanske inte lurade Pen and Teller men du lurade oss. Plus det var magisk rutin och hela presentationen. Jag blev imponerad iallafall
Tack så mycket! Kul att höra att du gillade det 😊
I like the European style of a silent act, Shin Lim does it too and is one of the best.
Now THAT is what I call magic
Thank you :)
It was amazing to watch. It was all just slight of hand though so it was never going to fool them
nicely done
Thank you :)
bro made me believe in magic
Very elegant!
Thanks a lot 😀
3:00 Where did the ball on the glass come from? 😳
I hope you will be invited to also show off your close up magic! I hope you are doing good, well done!!
Thanks Daniel!
I hope your music composing are going fine, and thanks again for your help last time. It gave me great experience to work with musicians!
Penn was pretty straight in his wording. Doing Cup and Balls for them is not going to fool them. Some of the moves were a bit obvious but with work can be cleaned up.
Yeah, it's hard trick to fool them with :)
He did so many things, which one were they were supposed to be busting him on? The camera appears to show Teller looking down to take a note at the very moment of one of those many many little secret moves. Nothing special appeared to happen, but he was almost certainly ditching one thing and loading another in that short moment Teller missed....
Ah this one is easy. It's just actual magic.
Exactly. 😅
Thanks for watching!
Bro if you're ever in Göteborg let me know !!!
I hate catching a little bit of *something* but still not knkwing exactly what happened. Like that red light flash. Dont know if that was supposed to have been seen or not, but it feels like it had something to do with the trick.
Thanks for watching! Yes there's a red light flash. It has nothing do to with the method but to create a little effect when the ball changes color. In the TV light you can't see it to well though :)
Where did that ping pong ball come from…..I’m fooled
You can't cut the camera away at 02:58 when something just appears on top of the glass! WTF Fool Us editors? There were a couple of other unnecessary camera cuts.
Hi, thanks for watching!
Nothing is cut out. They just change camera angel.
I looks the same as it will look live.
Of course if they wouldn't changed the camera angel you would see the method the second time. That's the thing with video :)
@@jacobschenstromBS that nothing was cut out. Being offscreen counts as "cut out". Better to just ignore the comments than actually compound the problem by lying about it. I get your point about the 2nd time, but again, don't lie to us. It's very clear what happened there. Ref. Al Goshman.
@@IHateTH-camHandles615 Sorry, english is not my first language. Yes in that case it's cut out since it's happening offscreen. Some comments suggested that a few seconds was cut out and that was what I thought you meant.
@@jacobschenstromMy apologies for saying you were lying.
I think they said it was a gimmick table
i dont trust penn and teller editing team anymore. There was no white ball at @2:55 and all of a sudden it appeared. common
Thank you for watching! 🙂
There's no editing out, they just changed camera angle.
It will look the same live. It was one of the hardest thing to solve when I developed the act.
@@jacobschenstromwhat are you talking about? There is clearly no ball at 2.55 and it appears on top of the glass after you are done rotating the stick
@@vandittpatel I don't wanna give away the method. But it's no editing.
@@jacobschenstrom okay I believe you. If that's true. Very nice trick
Some turn water into wine, you turned plastic into glass
This is all like really impressive and all but without a big finish I'm not even sure what I should be amazed by. Seen hundreds of the slight of hands. Just seems like random tricks added together. Maybe I would be more entertained if you had told a story about the whole adventure. So yeah, technically this was amazing. I only really spotted the white to red under the glass. Though except for that I forgot the whole show already.
Edited to not be part of the heart shaped sticker inflation.
Thanks for the feedback. There is a story, but I agree is not clear.
@@jacobschenstrom Then I'm just too dumb to pick it up. As I can see from the other comments the rest of your audience didn't have that issue. Still, I stand by what I said.
Master of misdirected.
Thank you :)
ojojoj!!!! Jacke!!!
Tack :) Schysst nickname du har här :)
somehow you did the switch of big object smoother than the small ones, the snooker ball, the crystal ball and the glass, is such a complex act. and even that i didn´t see it but i guess that switching different kind of materials with the same color also make those parts smooth.
They cut scene when he put the ball on the clear cup. BS right there.
