    Occasionally, a routine is featured on here that is just entertaining and beautiful. This is one of those. The "how" doesn't matter, but the "how well" does. Beast of all, not a deck of cards in sight. Beautiful routine Jim.

    They really need another kind trophy for mastery or performance because some of the fooling acts are nowhere as entertaining as this! Well done!

      I agree. This guy was totally brilliant. He certainly fooled me. And the finesse in which he did this was amazing.

      Agreed. I've seen too many acts on there that are innovative and impressive enough to fully deserve a slot on a big-time Vegas show. But that don't technically fool them. Such a shame.
      Hmm. Maybe they need something like a Golden Buzzer.

      People think it's all about the trophy, but there's more than one way to win. Many contestants don't even try for the trophy.

    • @shawnenglish9815
      @shawnenglish9815 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Fism is the world championship of magic.

    • @MrMccriddler
      @MrMccriddler หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      FISM is done for magicians; its like the world cup for only magicians, judged by magicians; and what makes it special is that it's done with cameras around the entire performance. it's very fun for this show because you can have penn/teller in front of them as these are people who at this stage are far better than penn and teller
      markobi is one of the best sleight of hand magicians in the world along with dani (you'll see him shout it out) and a lot of these are magician's magician tricks if that makes sense. there's a lot of basic fooling here where he wants to use obvious tricks like the double table so we'll see it, but the tricks he does have nothing to do with it.
      these tricks have so many more layers than the other routines we see here, they're both incredible.

    • @EngeltheFallen
      @EngeltheFallen หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      A lot of people on the show have FISM wins. One of the points of the show was for Penn and Teller to have a place to showcase all the amazing talent out there that would not otherwise get noticed.

    It's interesting because most of the time his hands are angled towards you so that you can see that they aren't holding anything. Whereas most magicians hold their hands so as to hide the back of their palm. That has to add a whole extra layer of difficulty.

    Simple slight of hand. It gets old.

    • @egroegartfart
      @egroegartfart หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      I dont look at it as old and boring. Moat of the things I don't think the general public had a clue what was going on here. Sure,you and I might know how it was all done but I also like to look at the creative side and how it was performed and presented and the difficulty in moving from one technique to the next flawlessly. That was impressive. It was an excellent performance. Very well choreographed. Sure, I'd like to see something new. And probably not a routine I would bring onto this show. Just because it wasn't something that was going to fool them. But I was really impressed with the performance. The general public loved it. They have no idea about most of it. And lastly, it is not just all sleight of hand. There's actually quite a bit more to what he was doing than that. And that really is impressive that there were a lot of different things going on there. I would love to see this guy come back when this guy creates a routine and tricks I can tell that he practices and practices and perfects it. There's nothing worse than seeing a magician that has a lot of errors or isn't clean with the tricks. I think this guy could fool them if he creates an outside of the box really cool trick. He did a great job.

    • @snowflakehunter
      @snowflakehunter หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@egroegartfart It was slight of hand. People know slight of hand. It has been around since 300 A.D. That is 1712 years ago at least. The earliest possible recording of it was in 50 A.D. Which was 1762 years ago.

      i think you might actually be missing some brain cells. a FISM routine means this routine is done with cameras on all sides in front of other magicians, and other magicians voted him the winner.
      if you think this is all sleight of hand you have no idea what's going on here, and you should stick to watching some america's got talent routines.
