Congratulations for developing a wonderful routine that you could perform on any stage, anywhere in the world and get great reactions from the audience. At such a young age it's a great accomplishment.
Thank you truly. 🙏
Good luck young man you have a great stage presence and I hope a very bright future
Thank you, it means a lot. 🙏🤗
Even understanding how it's done in the end, still can't imagine this being possible to pull off so flawlessly.
He did predict he'd win in the future. I'd love to see him back on P&T to try again! Great stage presence. A lot of fun to watch. Talented young man
Yes his stage presence was better than some veterans of magic... Now..lets hope he doesnt let his teen...hormones distract him from continuing his amazing talent ...lol
Very entertaining. Very smooth. Clever story. Congrats to a good performance.
Getting praise from P&T is almost better than fooling them. Almost. Great job young man. I look forward to seeing you headline!
Thank you so much for your kind words! And I’m glad you liked it. :)
This was a very well thought out and performed trick. His patter and performance was excellent! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, these kind words make me very happy. 😊
That is an absolutely wonderful idea, executed perfectly!
The concept, theme, scripting, stagecraft, confidence, everything, and such clean open handling with no funny moves...
Penn's improv coding of enough for intelligent kids to google stays stronk XD
Vilgot will go far.
Oh man this makes me glad to hear! Thank you 🙏
Fairly simple for P&T to work out. Brooke was forced and P&T weren't allowed to inspect all the cards. And the reason the red reveal was so important to the effect is that the audience might suspect there were 2 cards with drawn stick figures. But nice work presented with great confidence! Well done.
Yeah, I saw the force too.
Loved the great energy, stage presence and presentation, Vilgot.🙂
Hope to get to see more of you in the times to come.
May wishes for the same.
Very kind of you, thanks! 🙏
I agree, great stage presence.
𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐒𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠_𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 true that!
It's just deception-I'd go back to th Gospels
Sir, you did exceptionally well! Your future is bright!
Back to the Future IRL! Amazing!
Thank you so much Mahdi! 🤩 Best wishes from Sweden ✨
Congratulations on your amazing performance! Your confidence truly shines through. Looking forward to seeing more of your talent in the future! 👏🎉
Thank you! 🙏 Best wishes
This is a great act. It's entertaining, unpredictable, fresh, you have an appealing personality, and you handle the cards beautifully. Fantastic job!
Please don't say unpredictable 😄
@@harsh.verma1717 why???
Amazing routine and stage presence!
I liked the trick a lot! I wouldn't even know where to start finding an explanation. Totally got me, keep it up!
Fooler or not... great performance young man!
That confidence, and the end!! Love it!! ❤❤❤
Great act. Great delivery. Good luck to you!
Thank you so much!
That was pretty awesome! I don't know the method so that was amazing, haha. Man, I miss Alyson though, Brooke is trying a little too hard I think.
The reveal of it being red was a really weird delayed build up, but it was really fantastic overall :3 Amazing at 17 too, keep killing it.
What a great performance! I really enjoyed it! Great job.
Nice trick, and nice concept, but I'm sure you know it was never going to fool P&T. Not that it matters. The real trick is to get on the show and make a good impression, and you nailed that one ; )
Vilgot - din utstrålning, ditt lugn och din säkerhet (även på engelska!) är otrolig!! Du är en STJÄRNA!! ⭐🙌⬆💯
Tack så hjärtligt, gör mig så glad 🌟🙏
If you did this with a signature it would be one hell of a trick
If he is really smart he cones back on next year and does the same trick but with a signature.
Best part is, he could do it exactly the same way... as long as he has already planned for the future in the present. I have a cool method for making that possible, but since this recording was in the past, it may be too late to make that happen.
This comment got me thinking. And it not only revealed at least part of how he did it but also gave me an idea on how to improve it slightly. Not sure if it would make much difference in person but it would make it much harder for people to tell if it is truly the same card or not even after looking at the video. Because there are little details in the proportions of the first card that would make it easier to pull off the illusion.
I sense a great Jedi in this.
You can’t do it with a signature without stacking the deck
@@therealBocaStudios you can absolutely do it with a signature, using the exact same method as he did here.
Just not in the present, only in the future.
Great performance, Vilgot! And kudos to the awesome sparkly shirt you wore. :D
Absolutely wonderful!!!!
Fool 'em, not fool 'em, that is just one really cool trick! I loved it! Great job!
Really enjoyed it. Lots of fun to watch.
outstanding performance. I myself have terrible social anxiety. just being on that stage would be beyond what I could do. you not only conquer the difficulty of talking in front of a crowd, but you added magic and did it in front of two of the titans of magic. incredible job all the way around. wonderful.
Great performance & energy! 👏😊
Also, I love Sweden 🙌
17.... God damn. Well done young man.
One little thing: For a trick to be fully & properly constructed, I know that you want to have that one last little twist at the end, which in this case was the fact that the card was from a red deck. However, in this case we've already seen that the card has the special drawing on it, which is frankly more impressive than the deck color part, so as a result that final twist is really pretty anticlimactic.
I'm just throwing this out there as an unsolicited piece of constructive criticism, and I hope it's taken that way, because you're a young, talented guy, and you know what they say:
"The youth are our future -- which is a good thing, because they make rotten presents!"
(And we can all be thankful that joke is now in the past...)
It was to sort of 'show' that he didn't just draw the same shape on a card in both decks.
I agree, presenting the card face down but red might be slightly better.
I just want to know if you can do this trick? Do it at all, do it better? Or if your just a hater being douchey from the (hopefully uncomfortable) confines of your own (or are you hiding out in your moms basement still?) home?
@@magckmn01 He wasn't talking about the magic, rather the presentation of the magic.
Feedback is a very useful thing for young performers and Ken was rational and not attacking in his comments.
I too thought the red reveal at the end was a bit out of place, and I still loved the trick and have no idea how it was done.
So calm down there :)
@@magckmn01 LOL, you feel the need to feel offended for the magician?
But to answer your question: yes, any amateur can do a version of this trick, the only real issue is banishing the origianl 6 of diamonds and there are several methods for it. That is why Penn and Teller and so dissapointed, the guy put no effort on creating the trick, or had not enough time.
Wonderful performance. Exceptionally engaging and beautifully paced.
Great act! Really funny! I was fooled and entertained 🎉 cheers
wooohoooo, great job!!! Bravo. Very fun
Having Brook sign the card would have blown my mind. Nevertheless, a great performance. Inventing your own magic trick is a sign of how serious you are to your craft. 👋
A fantastic effect well done.👏👍👏👍😊🏆
Lovely use of idiomatic English for humour and a super-cool punchline! Well done!
I saw this performance in person and you were so amazing and I know if you keep putting in the work you will fool them next time.
Aw man thank you! :)
What a blessing
Great magic trick Vilgot! ❤
Fantastic performance. I wish you all the best in your career🃏
Great young man!!!
Snyggt!! Riktigt bra gjort!! 🎉
Riktigt bra Vilgot!
Bright future! Keep going and growing!
Awesome magic effect bro and great presentation and personality really fun to watch
Beautiful performance!
Brilliant performance! I was fooled.
I very much enjoyed your presentation of this trick!
Verrrry well done, even if you didn’t fool them.
Du rockade så jäkla hårt 💪 För mig som är yngre är du em riktigt stor inspiration!
Åh stort tack du! Det betyder mycket att höra. Kör hårt 💪
Great Scott!!
Great trick! Keep it up. Chase your passions!
Absolutely great trick
Det gjorde ett mycket bra trick, så coolt. Lycka till i fortsättningen :)
Riktigt bra genomfört och snyggt upplägg för tricket. Synd att det ej gick denna gång men i framtiden kanske det händer... Håller tummarna för det. :)
Hey man, just saying that i thought this was absolutely amazing! Keep it up brother. Hope to see you back on that same exact stage in "The Future"
Thank you!! Very kind words, and I hope so too.
@@VilgotMichelin Yes Sir! I also subscribed to you.
Godt fremført! Supert triks! Hilsen Norge!
Good job Vilgot!!!
Only 17 years old?
Wow.
The future might be saved.
Amazing!
no & no but thumb up! 😄 In my opinion, 6:55 "My FUTURE is in your hands" was 1 of the best parts of this performance.
Congrats, Vilgot!
Excellent act
I'am Back To The Future fan from Turkiye. Well done.
you're better than a LOT of magicians this season on the show. Excellent stage presence
Thank you truly. :) Glad you liked it
Mycket bra. Tills nästa gång! 👍
what about your bra?? ;-)
Wholesome. Love Brooks too in this. :)
Så jävla mäktigt Vilgot!! Är så stolt över dig❤️

Well done! Fooled me.
Wow, what you have developed with your magic. This is a masterpiece and cannot be done better by the best.
You have a fantastic aura.
... after all, I've been a judge in magic at Norra Brunn in Stockholm, so I know what's good.
Wish you All the best in the "future" 😂😮😅.
It was a great trick and a cute magician 😊
But it could be improved by a less obvious force... and I think he should do the reveal of the red back before the drawing. Showing the drawing, he has already "proven" that it's the same card so of course it's got a red back.
Really good trick. But when you did that faro shuffle right after they examined them, they knew right then how it was done. But still loved the trick and the idea of sending it into the future was great!
Awesome Performance good man - loved the stage presence - Subb'd keep innovating
Great trick!
17 years old and you have better stage presence than most adults twice your age. Absolutely beautiful trick even if you didn't manage to fool them this time you will in the future. Keep up all the hard work!
Very good trick. Just come back do it again. 🔟
You were superb...from india
Thank you so much! Love to you from Sweden
Tänk vad du har utvecklats med din magi. Detta är ett mästerverk och kan inte göras bättre av de bästa.
Du har en fantastisk utstrålning.
... jag har ändå varit domare i magi på Norra Brunn, så jag vet vad som är bra.
All lycka i fortsättningen.
Stort tack Kjell 🙏🥳
I love how you took a everyday routine and “Roughed” it up
I will quote Paul Gertner: -You need to work more than 2 years on a trick to fool those guys. But the trophy is there on the future, you will grab it eventually
Amazing, even if you didn't fool Penn and Teller.
This one from pen was not easy to decode, but he reused some that he already had said so i managed to understand (like the one with star wars). Nice magic trick also
Very nice. The selection of the card is probably the only part of the trick that needs work. I didn't see where the card ended up in the future deck but the Jedi mind trick to select the 6 of diamonds was the most obvious part of the trick.
Definitely very poor "Star Wars". Otherwise great performer.
2:50 and it's set
The force was painful. Like really painful, his hand just hovered over it.
A lots of movies going on like Penn said. The Jocker with "double face", The Karate Kid with the "sleight of hands". But what an awesome piece of tricks and performance. Good luck in the future.
Karate Kid was wax 🙂
Thank you@@nitedk
Great trick! I have zero clues about how it's done, but I noticed some times when your hands were "shaking" which might have given away the way it's done to P&T. Amazing performance nonetheless!
When he called new Allison over and did yhe hover stop thing, he held his hand fkin 3 feet from the cards so he could drop it down wherever 😂
I had to listen to the list of movies again, because the only one I got on first listen was "Star Wars".
Still, nice routine with a good story. 👍
I stoped before P&T gives away what they are thinking. Lovely good trick - a pleasure to see. (Sorry English is not my mother tongue)
Very good presentation adorable entertaining
I wish I understand code. It’s like a whole different language. A bunch of gibberish and the crown go wild but the tricker understands everything.
Hey Vilgot, that was awesome., nice one!
Well done! Was not expecting the card to be on the other side lols
At 2:52 you didn't let them see the whole deck: super sus. From there the trick is super obvious: the red card with stick figure was always there, just hidden in your fan. When you drew the stick figure later, it was on a forced card. The method of force was pretty obvious as the pen allows you to have a wide degree of range that you "stopped" at.
Drawing the exact same stick figure of course, and then later either palming or hiding the card: your fan wasn't very wide so easy to hide a card or two. It would have been more impressive if she signed the card.
Nobody asked.
If she had signed the card, it would be a completely different trick.
New subscriber 😊😊
I think I got an idea of the methods used but I didn’t see when you placed the red card first time through and the whole routine is awesome. Love the narrative. Love the delivery. Great routine! Well done 👏
From what Penn said, it's probably a double face card
@@rafa57games there’s some rough and smooth style Gimic going on too (wax on wax off statement) but I still think it’s a great routine. It looked very clean
I can tell you guys are not magicians :)
You know I'm not a magician. But my brain always wanted to construct a trick.simular to this. Thank you for making my dream a reality.
That is awesome to hear, and put a smile on my face. Best wishes
Fantastic trick! I'm not sure what gave it away to P&T. Or perhaps they already know another variation on it. Regardless it's a big flex to have them come up and be right there when you do it! I've seen plenty of magicians do what is basically close-up magic but they do it sitting at a table on the stage while P&T are safely back in their chairs. That takes confidence.
I think P&T just have to know the mechanics of the trick, rather than see the sleights (etc.) happening. These mechanics can underpin many magicians' routines.
Great trick. Only problem I saw was how slow you were doing the trick. I'm thinking that is how Penn and Teller knew how it was done. Of course being only 17 I'm sure you'll get faster.
The smile and characteristic energy of a winner.
Any chance you could use your magic to fix my Malm's bottom drawer? 😅🇸🇪
Hehehehe I wish!!! 😂
Cool trick. I think you could work the story a bit more to make it feel like it's really traveling to the future, rather than just traveling from one pack to another, but it's still amazing!
There probably is a longer version "story" to this trick, but since they are on a time constraint for TV...this is what you get.
