Dude, you are not going to believe this. About 6 months ago I was walking on my way back home from work. A block away from my house I saw a big backpack standing right next to garbage cans outside private houses. The garbage cans were full and there were some other stuff waiting to be picked up by a garbage truck. Now, the backpack was much bigger than a regular backpack that people normally use for work, etc. The bag looked very clean and sort off brand new. I could see a large "3DR" white letters standing out on this black bag. I figured it was some kind of specialty bag, and decided to check it out. As I picked it up, to my surprise, it turned out to be much heavier than I've expected, even for a large bag like that. As I've opened the zippers I was flabbergasted - a brand new, 3DR Solo Drone was inside that bag. A friend that was with me at that moment almost lost his jaw, as it dropped open on his face. The drone was never used, as it still had those large stickers on it's body and on it's batteries. Those stickers you must take off before you use the drone for the first time. Although the 3DR company no longer produces these drones for home use. They went out from the home users drone business about 5 years ago. The do not provide service for the drones, no parts and no software service or updates either. With all of this said, the drone originally was around $1500 deal. Since, at the time, you could get different configurations when purchasing the drone, this package came with different extras, such as extra batteries and chargers, extra propellers, the backpack itself(you could have bought the basic setup in a carton box for about $1000 bucks) and so on. I am not at all knowledgeable in the drone flying field. All of this I've found out when I've gotten home, and did a fairly short search on Google as soon as I got home. Short, in the beginning, because the info for the 3DR Solo came back very fast. I was interested in the drone flying/aerial photography for a long time, but the price was what prevented me from getting into it. I am an FIT fine arts/photography graduate from many years ago. In any case, I've tried to start the bird(as I've found out, that's what the drone itself is called in this fields' jargon :) and the controller and wallah - everything worked as was supposed to! Since then I have been enjoying this great hobby. Amazing, isn't it?

984 ft is 300 meters.
👍👍👍👍
"Z-A-O-Me?" Try "Shau-me." Like shower, but without the "-er." Depending on dialect, the "Xi-" might also be pronounced as "zh-" or "s-."
Its pronounced show me Brett
thanks for the video! Very much welcomed as you can't really find good videos with drone comparisons!
.
.
one thing tho, and hope you don't mind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Xiaomi is pronounced "show mee" ('show' as in 'shower')
Never thought somebody would correct him but now that you did, maybe you can use Google Translate and hear the real pronunciation of 小米.
There are only so many drones tho
@@brettgaramella This video was super helpful, I learned of drones I never knew of in each category!
TOO CLOSE FOR VIDEO
how i wish someone give me a drone even it is use.and even it is cheap.,..... how i wish..
Dude, you are not going to believe this. About 6 months ago I was walking on my way back home from work. A block away from my house I saw a big backpack standing right next
to garbage cans outside private houses. The garbage cans were full and there were some other stuff waiting to be picked up by a garbage truck. Now, the backpack was much bigger
than a regular backpack that people normally use for work, etc.
Since, at the time, you could get different configurations
when purchasing the drone, this package came with different extras, such as extra batteries and chargers, extra propellers, the backpack itself(you could have bought the basic setup
in a carton box for about $1000 bucks) and so on. I am not at all knowledgeable in the drone flying field. All of this I've found out when I've gotten home, and did a fairly short search on
Google as soon as I got home.
Direct conversion, 300 meters is 984ft
I assume Holy Stone sponsored this video?
He must work dji or be endorsed by dji. Jeez.
This guy shaking a squirrel off his leg?
Hahaha... yeah, my channel is a work in progress.
Drone Pilot Pro aren’t we all? Nothing but love
🤦
He got STRONG WHITE TEETH!!! :P

Nahhhh, Gotta say I love my PowerEgg and My Phantom 4 Adv. Plus is a beast still to this day and kicks the little Mavic's bootyhole harddddd lmao
@@brettgaramella You heard right! It's pretty friggin shweeeet but there is a little bit of reflection from the bubble cover to where you can slightly see the camera, but if you don't look for it you don't absolutely see it lol It's definitely something new tho and very advanced for such a small bugga.
C pas de la tronche vous faites tous les mêmes gueule 😂 innover lol
What happened to your DJI FPV prediction? Click bait not cool, unsubscribed!
Yeah sorry about that Johnnie, the person I talked with confirmed that the FPV drone is coming out but mixed up the release date with DJI's new enterprise drone.
@@brettgaramella that's ok, I appreciate you taking a responsibility and replying. I honestly find you quite easy to follow so I will probably re-subscribe. Thanks
@@johnnie10d I appreciate the understanding... the channel is still a work in progress.
What an irritating presenter. Some people just aren’t suitable for being on film.
Brett Garamella Calm down, slow down, be a bit more confident, stop drinking coffee.
